FOR GAME ADS:

➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no banners, no blinking text, no obnoxious tables, no sparklies, no pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad.

FOR GAME QUESTIONS:

➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme.

➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be frozen and/or deleted.

FOR CHARACTER ADS:

➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join.

➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above.

➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either.

The Wake is a pretty good game.

Fairly easy application process, I've been able to miss a solid week or so and still make AC. The people are very nice as are the mods.

[game info]: Mask or Menace is a comic-themed game (characters apping in get superpowers and the natives treat them like celebrities) that takes place in sort of modern day Earth. Sort of, because there's some alternate history going on so it isn't a mirror of our Earth. The game is pretty much what you make it. There are mod plots that you can get involved with and player plots are run pretty frequently. Or you can do your own thing if none of those really appeal to your character. There's a current test drive meme going on right now, if you want to try a character out.

thefleet_net is a sci-fi game, slow paced, small. AC is easy (5 log/10 Network comments per month).

I have Anakin Skywalker from Star Wars there, and he'd love someone who shares his love of engines and machines - he'd probably get along with Kaylee best in that regard, but he'd give Rodney a chance (and probably annoy Rodney, I'll be honest). We also have Amanda Perry from Stargate Universe.

They get sent to this place thanks to some rude god, and after about a month they start changing into a monster (mod-chosen via personality traits (or random if you want that)). And then they eat people. Looks like the test drive's opening November 11, and reserves start November 19.

LOOKING FOR
For Noblesse I'm mainly looking for canon shenanigans or canon-based AUs. M-21 is the character I'm most comfortable with and already have a journal for. I just want to play around in this canon.

For Saint Seiya, I'm interested in playing out canon-based PSLs, but I'd also go full on AU PSLs too just for the hell of it. I think these characters would be interesting in a bunch of different situations. I'm not as big a fan of the "coffee shop" type AUs...unless that coffee shop is secretly a hideout for supernatural people or a leyline crossover where weird shit always happens. My strongest character for StS is Hyoga, but I'm definitely interested in playing the other three, too.

For Naruto, canon AUs, random supernatural/fantasy AUs, sci-fi AUs, all of it. I will play it. I'd like to play out Akatsuki shenanigans too because that team is a mess of fun and ridiculousness.

ORIGINAL CHARACTERS
I have a lot of OCs but I tend to like things that are fantasy/sci-fi/supernatural-based and I'm totally up for collaborative world building and making new OCs, too, if none of the ones I have pique any interest. I love adventure PSLs, dark themes, vampires, super close bromances, corruption arcs, and would be up for shipping, too. Of OCs I have, I'd love to play out something in one of my supernatural verses or the Superdemic-verse because Superhuman/Superhero shenanigans are always fun.

[game info]: Empatheias is a largely Slice of Life game set on a floating island in the sky with the added quirk that emotions actually effect the world around the people who live in it. Bad tempers can cause fires and other destruction, happier emotions can create plant life and sparkles, while sadness can cause ice or ooze or anything you can imagine! In this world there are several not quite divine beings that represent several dichotomies of emotions call the Arehtei. Below the island are the remains of a dying world, and recently the game has opened up this world and the possible other floating islands up to player exploration and world development.

The cast has largely been settling since we apped in September and October. There's plenty of room fore more cast shenanigans, and we're all quite friendly! Reserves are open, and there's a current test drive up as well! Apps open the 1st and close on the 4th!

[wanted]: Wash especially. Locus is working on a sort of atonement arc and having Wash there would make for some really interesting CR. Any of the Freelancers. There have been previous members of Blue Team in the game before that had friends among the rest of the game, so they'd probably get some instant cross-canon CR. Donut would probably enjoy having his friends from Red Team.
[game info]: It's a modern day comic-themed game where everyone gets up to three superpowers upon entry and the populace treats them like celebrities. There's a good balance of plot (player and mod) vs downtime and you can pretty much choose how much involvement you want with the former. You decide your character's superpowers and they can be as serious or ridiculous as you'd like. For RvBs, the armor counts as one power slot and if a Freelancer is coming in with an AI fragment, that probably counts for another. The current TDM is here if you want to try it out!

I'll take a look at the game. Do you, as a Bucky, have a preference on which? Because lbr, both of these guys can and will make Bucky's life difficult but in supremely different ways...

Hey did somebody say Erik? :) I've got him from the newer movies, when he's younger, but we could probably work with that. I definitely don't mind slow tagging, because I have moments of that myself.

Hey there! I'm Ryn and I wanted to toss

empatheias at you for Noé in particular! Emp is exploration/CR and largely slice of life based with monthly events revolving around the history of the setting and what happened to the destroyed planet below the floating island that the game actually largely takes place on. It's a steampunk-ish setting technology wise, but through player plots and overarching plotline wise there have been discoveries pointing toward there once having been a higher or different technology level than there is currently.

Noé interests me in particular because I adore the character, and think he would have interesting CR with the small group of vampires that seems to be cropping up lately! There'd also potentially be a lot to do with emotions, considering he seems to have a bit of a temper (At least where Vanitas is concerned.)

This is very true, but I don't mind Bucky's life being made difficult in either way. I like both Brock and Pierce, so whichever you'd prefer would be lovely.

It seems like environmental survival would be Brock's element but psychological horror would be Pierce's :| Life isn't supposed to be this difficult this early in the morning either.

Hmmm... if you want my opinion?

I think Brock would deal better with surviving in the harsh environment, but there's such a lot of scope for Pierce's manipulation and duplicity. For example, you have to pick a username to be known by on the network, and I could see Pierce lying about who he is and making friends/connections to extend influence out.

Either way, I am happy to have them mess Bucky's life up.

Yesssss, I need more Fassface Erik in my inbox. :D We can totally work with some time shenanigans, since that's really an everyday occurrence in the land of Marvel.

Question: Have you seen the Rogue Cut of DoFP, or just the theatrical release? That's typically where I play her from (in various ways), or I could do some AU work.

Oh well, Rumlow is a filthy liar in my mind as well, so he would never give out his name right away. He can be a one man show, but he'd be out for survival and potentially killing anyone in his way to that end. And Pierce... well, he's just a manipulative asshole who would consider this a vacation at first and enjoy himself picking away at other people.

What timeline is Bucky from?

Ahahah, that is very true. Then I'm no help at all, because both would be equally cool.

Bucky is from between The Winter Soldier and Civil War, but he knows some of what might happen in Civil War thanks to Steve (who is now gone) who was post Civil War.

Well I'm reading the FAQ and then I will ponder my potential lot in life for this game. Do you require a reserve to apply to this game? I haven't seen it anywhere or on the reserves page.

Nope, you don't need a reserve.

You have to have a reserve to apply when apps first open, but then after a few days they open for anyone to apply. I hope to see you around in the game, and feel free to hit me up if you have any questions or want to test drive or anything :)
