March EMP Meme
FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content). FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. This section is only for game crosscanon as in the psl section people can list their preferences. ➤ Examples of crosscanon you can search for: You play The Flash from DC Comics and your dream CR is fellow speedster Quicksilver from Marvel. Or you might play a witch and want cr with other witches in general. Or maybe you play a good character messed up by evil parents and want to play against a villain character you know has evil parents, because you know it'd lead to some interesting negative CR. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be frozen or screened. Keep in mind this needs to be more specific than "this game has easy AC like you're asking for but meets none of your other requirements." Make sure you're advertising games that might click with that specific character, where a few elements fit what they're looking for. The Rabbit Hole is a surreal panfandom fantasy smut game set in a raunchy steampunk version of Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. Quite the mouthful, isn’t it? In Wonderland, characters are encouraged to lose themselves in their desires and even discover new ones. Despite the game’s lighthearted nature, however, it will contain some dark/horror themes, because after all, for every dream, there is a nightmare.

VAULT 66: A FALLOUT GAME
The results were mixed.
Vault 66 is one of these vaults. After untold years in stand-by mode, the vault has finally begun to reactivate. Pods filled with survivors are woken in rounds to repair the vault and venture to see what has become of the surrounding area. Some memory issues appear to have happened overtime, however, with people waking up from their pods believing the strangest things, like being from different worlds or times, or even different vaults. Characters apped into the game will be one of these newly awoken vault dwellers, attempting to make sense of this new world and each other.
Outside the vault, characters will find a post-apocalyptic America still recovering from the nuclear fallout that happened centuries before. In the wasteland outside the vault, characters will encounter other people, some friendly and some very much not, along with new species and reshaped landscape. How characters shape their little area of the world and how they discover how and why they are here is up to them.
SMALL GAMES
Forgotten Tales § a small fairy tale themed panfandom game
A place where the worlds and characters of stories and fairy tales exist to live their own life. Born from the breath, carvings, and ink of storytellers, these worlds have grown over the centuries, changing and adapting with each new take and spin. It didn't matter how the story was told, but that it was told at all, and the characters lived in celebration each time their tale was told anew.
But time has passed and tales once beloved and widespread are quickly becoming forgotten. As more books gather dust on the shelves and people no longer come together to listen of tall tales and epic adventures, these worlds begin to fade away. It's slow at first, almost unnoticeable, until the worlds begin to crumble and disappear into infinite darkness known as the Void. Hastening the Realm's destruction is a creature called "the Story Eater." It tears through each world, even those still thriving, consuming and destroying everything in its path until all that remains is left to the Void.
The chaos does not end here.
After gaining enough power, the Story Eater is able to extend its reach out into the worlds outside the Realm. Through the pages and media connecting the worlds, the Story Eater steals the souls of those who unknowingly come in contact. Some victims are left in a strange coma while others are used as puppets to continue causing havoc and mayhem. Minions known as "Erasers" are also sent through, taking forms of humans and monsters to spread the Story Eaters influence and wreak havoc. No world is safe from its rampage.
However, there is still time.
An entity known as "the Storyteller" uses their power to seek out anyone they can reach through any means not yet tainted by the Story Eater, and those who answer have the choice to help or to ignore. If they decide to help, their souls are transported through the pages into the Realm of Stories. Inheriting the essences of fallen storybook characters, they are transformed into entities known as Aspects and are tasked to help not only combat the Story Eater and its minions, but to restore the lost stories.
If they don't, then their own worlds may be consumed and lost.
Forgotten Tales is a panfandom, fairy tale fantasy themed, small, semi-public roleplaying game. It focuses on the concept of storybooks being their own worlds and characters inheriting the powers and characteristics of various storybook characters. Player and character action will be driving force behind the game and will be used to recreate stories. So basically, we're writing our own versions of stories.

The Drift Fleet was renowned across the galaxy as the intergalactic reality show to follow. For centuries people have been taken away from their homes, pulled from multiple universes and from multiple times, and watched like a bug under glass for the amusement of faceless aliens. But what was entertainment for some was hope to another - for one race desperately needing help, The Drift Fleet was an answered prayer. For you it will be the start of a whole new adventure.
Welcome to Agra 10.
Where is this planet? Well, no one is quite sure of that, yet. When you arrive, you encounter a glowing orb that harmlessly downloads information directly into your mind. What you learn from it is this:
This planet is now home for you. Centuries have passed since anyone has been able to live here, though. Agra 10 is a dying world thanks to inexplicable and debilitating energy storms that have destroyed everything in their paths, including the Agrii people. Once, this proud race of millions had a thriving world full of advanced and sophisticated technology. The storms cut that number down to hundreds, huddled together in the heart of their capital, Temba.
That is where you are now.
The Agrii are now gone and Temba is the most intact area left (which says a lot about the rest of the planet). The orb is a Data Point left by the departing aliens to tell their story. But how did you get here? Why are you here? What are you supposed to be doing?
That is all for you to discover. The Agrii’s hope and your own survival is now in your hands. This isn’t a show anymore. It’s not a game.
It’s a Revival.
No, but really. What is this game?
The Revival Project is a jamjar game that picks up after The Drift Fleet concludes. While it is a spin-off game, it is only loosely connected to the plot there and anyone can join regardless of their presence in The Drift Fleet. NO prior knowledge of The Drift Fleet is necessary to play.
From what you’ve discovered so far, your character has been brought to Agra 10, a destroyed planet that has been abandoned for centuries. You will soon learn that your mission here is to rebuild the capital city and the rest of this once-proud world. The Agrii, who remain off-world, have found that outsiders are somehow partially immune to the energy storms that massacred their population. Because of this, they will continue to find the best helpers from every universe to bring here. Lucky you are among those chosen.
In addition to rebuilding the planet, there is another task you must undertake. After all of the chaos that has splintered them for decades, the Agrii no longer fully understand what it means to be part of a community. Watching The Drift Fleet was the only lesson they had to help them relearn how to function as a cohesive society once more. So while you work together and even (eventually) travel to distant worlds, know that you have fans watching and learning from your every move. And don’t be surprised if they even reach out (although their English leaves much to be desired).
TRP is structured as a slice-of-life, adventure, and survival game where you have the opportunity to pick whichever of those elements you wish and avoid those that you do not. Whichever path your character travels here is entirely up to you.
As the game progresses, events will uncover larger and perhaps surprising truths about your new home and the race that brought you here. Not all is what it seems. There will be plenty of opportunity to take advantage of the setting; how you do so is yours to decide.

Daybreak Academy is panfandom AU battle school roleplay following the students and teachers of the titular Academy. Ostensibly a rich private school nestled in the French alps, Daybreak is in truth a school for Candles, people who have exhibited growing supernatural abilities. Here, Candles are trained to combat the Nightfall, a prophesied time in which the sun will be blotted from the sky and dread monsters of the Outlands will once again roam it, bringing about the end of humanity. As the mists of the Outlands encroach ever further, Daybreak students must train and fight diligently to protect humanity and prepare. Night will fall soon, there isn't much time left.

You feel that something's... wrong. You don't quite remember what you were doing the moments before you now find your eyes trying to adjust to the darkness, the cold; you're somewhere underground, soldiers milling all around you. There are dog tags around your neck and some kind of digital imprinting on your wrist that seems to glow in the dark and reads: REGISTERED HERO.
"So, hero," says a woman's voice, her face in shadows as a machine hums into glowing blue life behind her. "You're about to be a part of something bigger than yourself; I hope you're up for it." Before you can answer, you're ushered somehow upward, leaving you with only her final words -- "Don't worry. We're the good guys." -- before you're enveloped in blue light and suddenly blinking the bright Florida sunlight from your eyes. A soldier escorts you to a car, where she proceeds to debrief you on the situation as she drives you to your lodgings. Your home, for now.
Settle into your new house, your new job, get used to your powers, make some friends, keep your ear to the ground. Or, if that's not your style, get your villain hat on and cause some real mayhem, or put on a costume and bring back the era of the caped crusader... just be careful how you do it. This is bigger than you, and you didn't ask to be recruited. What you do next is up to you.

These emotions are collected in special crystal amulets and it is this amulet that you will rely on throughout your stay. However, there's more to this world than meets the eye. With the appearance of giant, powerful, mythical beings called the Arehtei, it would appear that while the floating island is thriving, the rest of the world is in its death throes. You remember a dream.
Or maybe nightmare is more accurate.
It was full of hellfire nipping at your skin and a sensation of being pulled down no matter how much you struggle or cry for help. There's a voice that feels like it's coming from all around you at once. Contrasting with the nightmare unfolding around you, it's smooth as silk. It makes you want to listen with every bit of attention you can muster in the moment.
"Judgement has come upon you, but not to worry. It can still be undone."
The voice promises you redemption for your sins. It promises you a better life and everything you could ever want, if only you just stop struggling so much.
And so you do. You hit a mercifully soft surface soon after.
When you open your eyes, two things become apparent. One, your body feels heavy, like you've been asleep for a week. Two, you're in what looks like a hotel room somewhere. It certainly isn't anywhere you remember being before.
A look around the room done up in red, you realize you're on a bed and there's a window to your left, a tiny TV in the corner. The walls are are bare besides a couple hellish paintings. Beside you on the nighttable is a piece of parchment with a list of sins scrawled in blood. Specifically your sins. You become almost instantaneously aware that your palm stings and realize there's a deep cut there. The blood on the paper is yours.
There's also a device that looks like an old Blackberry phone and a few of your belongings in the room. Looking out the window shows a hellscape full of jagged terrain and unfriendly hellfire, broken down old buildings. It's a nightmare. Stepping out, you'll see dimly lit halls. You may run into demonic staff wandering the halls, manning the front desk. Inevitably, you'll run into fellow sinners like yourself.
