ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the last Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content). FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. This section is only for game crosscanon as in the psl section people can list their preferences. ➤ Examples of crosscanon you can search for: You play The Flash from DC Comics and your dream CR is fellow speedster Quicksilver from Marvel. But my favourite setting/time period is mythical/Bronze Age Greece from Ganymede being taken to around/shortly after the Trojan War, because there's a lot of things one can dig into with the myths. (Especially the Gigantomachy if you drag it out, or Typhon's attempt at toppling the order. Or even Hera's...)
Otherwise historical times are great too, though (if you've got historical setting muses and feel like hitting me up, please do~).
Setting things during various historical times is great, too and modern settings as well. I've also got an AU or two if something adventurous while the gods aren't immediately around would be wanted! Or if you'd like to help Ganymede find either the golden vine his father was given, or the Palladium.
I'm fine with a lot of Greek myth adaptions and related canons, either to mash together/fit Ganymede into them straight up, or doing some sort of jamjar thing.

I would love other immortal human characters to focus on the whole what being immortal means for a human, even if Ganymede doesn't exactly live on Earth as such.

For specific characters I'd love Hebe, Eros or Hymenaios for friendship things! (Also the rest of the Erotes.)
I'd love an Apollo, especially leaning into that he might have been/was Troy's tutelary deity (possibly even in reality since Apaliunas could probably be Anatolian Apollo).
I think it might be interesting to do something with Persephone, to play off the similarities in their original situations.
I'd also absolutely kill for any of Ganymede's closest family, as much of a long shot that is, to do some family-related things before Ganymede's taken. Or maybe meeting later generations, but before the war?
And, because I'm predictable Zeus. I'd prefer a lighter/positive take on things; genuine affection as well as baser emotions, even if the situation of course can be more or less problematic in itself! Would be as interested to start from kidnapping because of attraction as well as, as the earliest sources state, only because he's so damn pretty he belongs among the gods and then things developing from there, or whatever variation of it that might be of interest, like Zeus disguising himself as a human for a while before the abduction occurs.

Oh gosh, hello! I'm admittedly not the best at this whole EMP thing, but I'm going to do my best to plug Ryslig to you and/or your Trish-playing friend.

So the basic premise of Ryslig is that it's a jamjar where characters will turn into a monster (mod-assigned, but based on character traits that you list in your app), who must then feed on human flesh/blood/souls/etc. to survive. I see you like horror, and a lot of the game certainly fits the bill, but I know the eating aspect is a little off-putting to some, so I thought I'd make sure to put that on the table! While many of the game's events are also horror-oriented, there is always a lot of freedom when it comes to opting out of them, and you are more or less free to make your monster designs as monstrous or pretty as you'd like, but the eating can't really be avoided, so... that's that.

The aforementioned freedom does mean people can play slice-of-life if they'd like, but as you might imagine, the basic premise alone means that's not a given! While some people have decided to simply try and make the best of their lives as monsters, others choose to follow one of the in-game gods - which does give you a little power ranking to move up in. Aside from that, there are plenty of player businesses and chances to make your own goals! No such thing as missions, sadly.

Uhhh what else. Activity is, indeed, on the medium-high level these days (individual players may vary, of course; plenty of people are backtag friendly!), and there are indeed castmates! Alongside Erina, Jolyne and Jonathan, we also have a Mista, a Giorno, and, well, a Doppio. That's me, hello. It's just Doppio though, since he's post-canon - just nevermind the details of how he's decided to cope with the whole people-eating thing. :V

jojo's bizarre adventure, genshin impact, cross-canon friendly

[offering]: for jojos and for genshin i honestly have too many characters and am usually happy to make journals for ones i don't have already, to facilitate fun castmate wishes, tbh. but the main ones on offer rn are:
jojos: risotto nero, ghiaccio, prosciutto
genshin zhongli, venti, razor (also have a journal for childe, could probably play almost anyone from mondstadt esp lisa/kaeya/jean/diluc, feel very free to ask if you're looking for an x to your y and you vibe with everything else i'm writing here!)

[preferences]: so for jojos i am tenderly hoping for other squadra characters or really any part 5 villains (or a bruno for risotto hi hello, leaders fighting or maybe working together to kill the boss in a canon divergence psl). BUT i'm also open to cross-canon here, bc what i'm actually in love with is just. bands of baddies being criminals together. doing heists, fucking shit up, bantering before they go shoot a guy, etc etc. so for this i'm incredibly happy to au them into someone else's crime world, or au the other character into jojo's. for the canonblind, all listed jojos characters are hitmen for an italian gang. think ocean's 11 except they kill people. those general vibes. feel free to come vibe with me.

for genshin i'm still getting into the lore (i have not personally finished the entire accessible game but i Know What Happens etc) but i'm in deep, guys. really love exploring zhongli's relationship to himself/humans/his new decision to exist as a non-archon/how other characters would interpret him literally lying about his own death even to old friends, etc. also would love to explore venti's nuance even further and see him get a chance to balance out grouchy characters.

i'm okay with more or less any cr (gen or ship, almost any character combo) with a few of the obvious favorites (zhongli/childe, zhongli/venti, venti/jean, anyone/traveler, etc) but i'm also forever open to discovering less conventional pairs (again for gen or ship).

general things i like so we can see if we may vibe:

→ opposites attract, whether that's grouchy/cheery or older and serious vs younger and feral (hi zhongli/childe), etc
→ very tense 'two grifters working the other' scenes
→ one is injured during a job/quest and the other has to take over/guard the other, esp if no one is happy about this
→ fighting, messy cr, tension, crossed wires/misunderstandings, confrontations
→ i actually love horror and wouldn't mind playing with that as a side dish for any threads/psls
→ 'oh no we both got captured by a Bigger Enemy so i guess we gotta work together to escape even though i hate you/we just had a huge argument/you told me you were dead and i'm still processing that THAT was apparently a lie'
→ powered characters losing their powers temporarily and needing to fight their way out the hard way
→ despite all the dire things i just listed i actually really do love sweeter things, happy endings to terrible threads, and fun text spam
→ i tend to run on the dramatic side for threads anyway so bring me all your self-indulgent rescue plots, sad backstory hcs, look i don't care i'm here to have fun
→ sidenote since it sometimes matters, i don't write out smut

[game info]: Chances are you already know what Duplicity is! Duplicity is a dark-themed sex game (sex is not required for AC) in a dystopian setting, wherein characters are sorted into a social class made up of Dominants and Submissives. Dominants and Submissives face different life challenges, are pushed towards bad behavior by the city, and are eventually required to contract with an individual of the other designation

Activity Check include two of the following: 5 log comments from your character, an open network log or post from your character, 10 network comments from your character, or 15 private inbox comments from your character. The game has a wide variety of players with different tagging schedules, and can pick up speed at times, but I've never found it hard to make AC here.

Pam is from Season 5, coming in immediately after the Michael Scott Paper Company arc. She has been in Duplicity since the end of November, and as you can imagine, has struggled to adapt in the face of her engagement! Pam has been designated as a Submissive and is currently contracted. She's making new friends, working to develop her art into a career, and learning she is in fact Super Bisexual™.
