ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the last Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content). FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. This section is only for game crosscanon as in the psl section people can list their preferences. ➤ Examples of crosscanon you can search for: You play The Flash from DC Comics and your dream CR is fellow speedster Quicksilver from Marvel. Or you might play a witch and want cr with other witches in general. Or maybe you play a good character messed up by evil parents and want to play against a villain character you know has evil parents, because you know it'd lead to some interesting negative CR. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be frozen or screened. Keep in mind this needs to be more specific than "this game has easy AC like you're asking for but meets none of your other requirements." Make sure you're advertising games that might click with that specific character, where a few elements fit what they're looking for. But the short version is that it's sci-fi/fantasy jamjar where characters live in a city populated by gemstone people and are affiliated with particular gemstone gods, and there are optional monster transformations that happen every month depending on which gemstone god you pick. [game info]: Noctium is a sci-fi-ish game set on the titular planet where all the residents live on floating island cities - so far we've unlocked the arrival city of Sumarlok and the flowery province of Primavera. Characters arriving are bound to one of the four Cardinal Gems and given powers accordingly...however, the fifth Cardinal Gem, Malachite, also causes characters to transform into monsters one week a month based on their Gembond (extent of the transformation is up to the player). Characters are also expected to produce Manna for their new world, an energy source generated by intimacy referred to as Syncing. This doesn't only include things like hugs and hand-holds or saucier stuff, as an impassioned fight or a particularly deep and meaningful conversation also count as Syncing.

The TDM goes up tomorrow, there's a game EMP already up for this month on the meme comm glimglams, and Reserves open around when the TDM does with Apps opening on the 1st of the month!

The basic setting is characters have been drawn into hell for the entertainment of demons, are placed onto one of twelve units, and are forced to compete against the other units in games that can range from social bingo to high trauma! Usually, it a memloss game, with a few exceptions, and characters are able to easily earn back memories. But characters that particupate in our 4th wall are able to come play optionally with their memories fully intact or wiped! It's up to the player. And new units have been formed specifically for 4th wallers!

It's a good way to touch the game if you've been curious, and we would all love to play with more cast!

[game info]: The usual: Ryslig is a horror game in which characters are taken to a mysterious peninsula by the Fog God who then starts turning them into human-eating monsters (which are chosen by the mods based either on randomization or personality traits). Hilarity ensues. Or maybe it's horrible things. It's both, actually (despite being a horror game, Ryslig involves a nice dose of humor as well). Any non-human characters do have to be humanized first, but they start turning into monsters soon enough so that's fun anyway. Robotnik's a faerie, and basically a horrible bug man, and while he intends to get home by any means possible this faerie thing is useful and he intends to stay that way. It's taking a long time to actually get home, but he'll do it! He'll do it!!

There's a TDM still open here if you want to dive right into test driving, although there'll be a new one May 14th if you'd rather start fresh. Apps don't open til next month on the 24th (with reserves on the 22nd), but think about it! C'mon in! Let's do monster things!

Designed as a limited run game with a fixed ending in which characters may alter their own outcome, the game focuses on the eerie and unsettling, and provides opportunities for all to investigate the mystery of what happened to Mathias Township… and what is happening to them. This small game relies heavily on meaningful character interactions and player willingness to explore the psychological depths of their character.

As of current, the people of Mathias have been dealing with a mystery that included finding duplicates of personal items scattered all over town. For Bucky, it was his cybernetic arm, which of course Tony wants to get his hands on for Science Purposes and ends in a game of keep-away. Then there's the Groundhog Day event that's currently ongoing. The townspeople are starting each day in the exact same place, doomed to replay the morning earthquake and deal with the undoing of everything that was done during the previous day.

We recently celebrated the coming of Spring, and we have a few big events througout the year (Samhain, Yule, Summer Tournament, Sex Jamboree/Fuck Tent) with plenty of the players in the game having their own little events from time to time.

The game has a check-in based AC, and you can regain your powers and items via reward points by being eager participants for the Fey. (or even new powers and items! Percy got a cellphone for yule, for instance. Vax has some druid powers! Cassandra has elemental powers and wings)

[game info]: Chances are you already know what Duplicity is! Duplicity is a dark-themed sex game (sex is not required for AC) in a dystopian setting, wherein characters are sorted into a social class made up of Dominants and Submissives. Dominants and Submissives face different life challenges, are pushed towards bad behavior by the city, and are eventually required to contract with an individual of the other designation

Activity Check include two of the following: 5 log comments from your character, an open network log or post from your character, 10 network comments from your character, or 15 private inbox comments from your character. The game has a wide variety of players with different tagging schedules, and can pick up speed at times, but I've never found it hard to make AC here.

Pam is from Season 5, coming in immediately after the Michael Scott Paper Company arc. She has been in Duplicity since the end of November, and as you can imagine, has struggled to adapt in the face of her engagement! Pam has been designated as a Submissive and is currently contracted. She's making new friends, working to develop her art into a career, and learning she is in fact Super Bisexual™.

[why]: Freeza's been in the same place long enough that's developed considerably but it's really not going to hold water if he can compartmentalize it into just how things are in THIS place, and being challenged by people that actually know him would be important.
[game info]: Travel-based panfandom RPG where dead characters (or near-dead) are brought aboard to basically redeem themselves and earn a chance at going back, through experience. They are guarded by other characters assigned to guard and advise them -- those people have made deals in exchange for something otherwise impossible (or exceedingly difficult) in their own world.

Essentially, the game is redemption/corruption. Your character comes in with a list of sins (generated by you), and they can either work to redeem themselves or lean in and go demonic. TDM's usually focus on the torture/confessions/activities that help you share sins and redeem yourself, while the monthly events usually center around a change in the environment to make things harder/easier/spicier. There's one TDM and one main Event per month!

AC is a CINCH, pretty much just eight comments. Pace is slow to medium, with most players (at least that I play with) managing ~1-3 tags a day. People are super flexible, too, if you have something come up. As someone that works fulltime with a few little gigs on the side, it's a perfect pace for me.

Tim has been in Penance for almost a year! He's lost two Dicks, two Jasons, and a Damian--not to mention some of his closer cross-canon CR. I'm playing Tim from N52 PRETTY EXCLUSIVELY, I'm not fucking with Rebirth stuff at all--and I'd love to have some comics-based castmates around!! I'm fairly canon familiar with the comics all across the timelines, so I'm happy to play against anyone, but N52 canonmates would be great for baggage. :,)

THE LEGEND OF ZELDA - AU

[wanted]: ZELDA. Since the game is inherently AU, we're setting things up so that the Triforce folks are actually friends/working together, and that Ganondorf is a slightly more sympathetic character who still could very easily tip over in to BBEG territory. While the other player is leaning towards Link, they're also willing to play Zelda if you're more inclined to be the Courage-user!
[game info]: The AU is more-or-less 'steampunk and airships'; inspired by Sky Tides, Skies of Arcadia, and more. Because it's so early, things are very mutable; essentially, if you're interested in taking the base LoZ concepts and mixing them up a bit, hit me up!
