ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the last Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content). FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. -zhongli qiquan ; it's been so fruitful finding ship for him that i'm honestly really craving non-ship anything. intense platonic cr of any variety is wonderful, with any character. i love exploring why zhongli enjoys childe / the idea of him meeting this bloodlust-filled human and seeing a tiny Morax...except with emotions and passion he didn't have while he was just a merciless god of war, and that leading his fascination. i'd adore other characters for him to interact with too; faves include Lumine/Aether, Venti, Xiao, Kaeya, Keqing & Sucrose but I'm legitimately open to anyone. would love to let him meet anyone where they can spur weird unexpected growth or revelations from the other.

would also love to explore him Before, as that merciless god of war we're told he was; with other ancient castmates from the time or via AUs. love any variation on 'taming the dragon' either w canon guizhong/barbatos/xiao or aus of current characters into the past/or if present day zhongli hadn't changed yet, etc. love playing with how he's inhuman and therefore fundamentally different even if he can learn and change over time.

-childe foulhunger ; would love to explore both him getting more friendships (or ruining them) via fighting others/challenging them; getting his ass whooped by archon characters or anyone who could beat him in a fight (hi traveler); enemies to friends or vice versa or BOTH in one; I like doing stuff both with his bloodthirsty side and his more ~innocence-loving side and how those both coexist in him. also up for playing with how the foul legacy form fucks him up.

-razor exceptphysical ; I just want...friends for him to awkwardly learn through/with... other teens from Mondstadt or Liyue, or adults for intergenerational stuff... I love the idea of him bonding w the scientist characters, or being a weirdly apolitical but blunt companion for ones on the fringes like Kaeya (or even Diluc??) I just desire...to write.

-diluc undawnted ; i'd to love to have diluc as a reluctant protector/mentor for any of the mondstadt (or liyue) kids, getting trapped into social situations (i'd love to play around w his canon problem of being pursued by suitors he's not interested in?? up to and including exploring it becoming harassment/or even assault (from npc) if the other writer's comfortable with that), generally just being forced out of his cagey comfort zone. also happy to explore his and kaeya's relationship/how utterly diluc burnt that to the ground :')

-lisa latefee ; her threatening creeps during the windblume festival is forever seared into my mind and i'd love her swooping in on behalf of literally any other character, lmao. her being a mentor or friend to others, light flirting that likely still goes nowhere, etc etc. do you need an atypical mother figure? she's here. also very interested in exploring her concern over visions and what the 'price' might be for them... any other characters with reasons to doubt the gods (kaeya, keqing) or actual gods (hewwo ventis) would be a+ but i'm happy for literally anyone.

-venti freiheitsgeist ; as instigator for less talkative/outgoing characters, or partners in crime for those that would go along with things. exploring his past and what it means to be that ancient alongside zhongli/xiao/etc. would love to play with headcanon lore about khaenri'ah/kaeya/albedo/if venti can tell either is really from there or not or big reveals related to it, too. big...fan of venti & xiao in general tbh ;;

general prefs: I'm a big fan of h/c (prefer playing the comforting characters generally) in tones ranging from near-fluff to very dire to even about darker topics that don't usually get rp time; characters fighting (especially for say, zhongli & childe, or childe & anyone (esp traveler), or Diluc & Kaeya going for round two when one of them snaps on the other); to just every silly trope under the sun (bathing/hair styling with help after an injury and all the nerves and discomfort and trust involved with that, esp with reluctant characters; learning to dance for Big Important Gala); big secrets being revealed; very messy interpersonal fights/discussions/disagreements; etc and beyond. i also like playing with some topics you can't...generally approach strangers for...?? so if you're cool in general with some more taboo things, lmk, we can pm and see if we're on the same wavelength.

I'm not 100% opposed to ship, it's just not the main thing I'm looking for, although I adore intense cr; I love being able to have flirting & tension that is just fun/existing but with no (ooc) expectations of things gaining sexual tension. mostly looking to click as writers. o7

Albedo, gen or ship, however I would love to do a slow burn ship... can start as friends and let them navigate how it goes, which is often my style anyway. considering Albedo is one of the crucial few people in Teyvat that knows about Xingqiu's novel and is the only other person involved in its creation...I would love to put a lot of value into those two's CR!

Zhongli because I just love Zhongli, but also because I have so many thoughts on potential trails for them having CR. Xingqiu's passion for Guhua could be something Zhongli recognizes easily despite its obscurity in contemporary Liyue and has no qualms discussing, fighting style training and sparing, adventures in general... completely fine with gen, I do also love slow burn age gap ship and can nudge Xingqiu to 18 for something like that, which is barely a shift from his estimated age anyway.

Barbara, Noelle, or Fischl. they are...so cute and I don't see many around! this could be gen or ship, I would really love either. I know fandom loves the part where Xingqiu is a menace on...Chongyun mostly, but I really like the idea of him getting to be himself and also not be a trouble maker in order to have fun! getting to be heroic alongside one of these ladies and face adventure and excitement, and also share awkward affections as friends or friends-to-more, would be really cute.

Diluc. can totally just be gen, open to slow burn into ship, but not pressed for it. younger, bright eyed, optimistic young man that strives for justice meets...slightly older, weary, burned, colder man who's been through some shit and also...strives for justice. and is weirdly sassy. it feels like it has a lot of fun potential.

Childe, can just be gen, either way, I like the idea of Xingqiu having to balance this wobbly situation of admiring some parts of Childe, while feeling challenged and disturbed by others, and working through those things and learning things about Childe, himself, and the nuance of grey between morals. pre-sea monster summoning party or after! how much tension do you want to work with, basically.

Lumine, Lisa, Jean, you name it. one particular fan artist on Twitter with big brain energy has fueled my desire for CR with sweet ladykiller Venti. gen with cute playfulness and good-natured flirting or unattached and enthusiastic...things. Venti wouldn't put shackles on it, so how could I, honestly. basically, anything with the madames of the series.

hear me out...I have this OC that I built up a few years ago and love to write, and I have formulated a bit of an AU to fit with Genshins. this request is made with p5r akechi in mind because i think the character dynamic can be interesting, but i'll say that if anyone finds the idea interesting, i'm open to trying this out against other characters.

geumsun comes from a canon where reapers collect the souls of the dead, there's basically a record where the names and death info appear to indicate when they should be picked up, etc. when a human who is listed in the record doesn't die, whether it's through outside influence or whatever, it's an Issue.

i think it could be interesting to play around with that given the extra scene at the end of the game. i'm happy to discuss plot threads and things we can do with them.

i'd like this to eventually lead to the two of them getting together in some capacity. slow burn is totally fine with me, as is going for something quicker. i'm open to a lot. fair warning about geumsun, he looks to be late 20s-early 30s, but is hundreds of years old.

✔ The preferences below are written for Monika. For Beatrice, I am still voice-testing her. I am mostly interested in fun scenes where she can be her troll self and live her best life freely. ✔ Back to Monika now. My favorite things to play are romance, psychological horror and sometimes slice-of-life. Adventure, sci-fi, fantasy and more general stuff can be very fun to play, too! Mixing genres is usually ideal.

✔ I am happy with shippy and non-shippy roleplays alike! Keep in mind that regarding Monika, she may develop one-sided feelings even in non-shippy things, it really depends on the circumstances. When it happens, it's less about her being in love and more her being so desperate that she clings onto whoever gives her some sliver of hope. Her learning these feelings aren't love are part of her development (or not, depending on the scene).

✔ As a general rule? Scenes with a focus on character development are what I love. Scenarios that will challenge the characters's understanding of the world. Scenarios that will force Monika to make difficult choice or even force her to reconsider what she believes to be the truth. That's pretty similar to what she went through in DDLC, but here I want to see it taken a step further. Is the real world as amazing as she'd hoped? What can she do when she loves someone and has no way to manipulate her environment or force them to click "yes?" How will she deal with all the trauma from DDLC, now that she has to face what she went through and what she did? That sort of things.

✔ I have been very interested in villains of late, and would love to try a scene where a villain manipulates Monika by pulling on the right strings, namely her desire to come to the real world and her need for affection. In that same vein, I am also very interested in corruption. As example, the sort of corruption akin to being seduced and manipulated to serve the dark side in Star Wars, or the Servant to Servant Alter transformation in Fate/. For such a scene, I would be open to darker themes than usual.

✔ I am more than happy to play with any canon (or OCs for that matter)! Monika can fit in pretty much any given setting since upon escaping her reality, there's no rule that says she has to pop up in our real world. AUing is fine, to an extent. The sad and tragic elements of her backstory should be translated to something similar and just as damaging in the AU, so that she remains more or less the same character.

✔ I'm happy with M/F or F/F!
✔ Favorite things would be angst, domestic life, (arranged) marriage, slow burn, conflicts.
✔ Romance is 10/10. But I'd rather built it over the characters being crazy about one another from the get-go.
✔ I absolutely adore hypnosis (with Monika being the hypnotized one). It's not a requirement by any means though!
✔ In a similar vein, corruption is adored for darker RPs, see above.
✔ As said above, mixing genres is key. For example fluff is amazing, but would get boring after a while. Having conflict or angst between fluff though? Makes it all the better!
• Pure smut doesn't interest me. It can happen long as it feels natural, of course! But sex for the sake of sex is boring.
✘ Needless to say, I want both the player and character to be 18+!
✘ I do not have any interest in a character who'd be the "player" from DDLC. It's not only boring but also entirely unhelpful to Monika's development.

Idea #1
⤑ Generic medieval/fantasy setting, can be crosscanon or OCs. This idea is based on Under the Oak Tree so we can incorporate elements of others canons or not into it as you like.
⤑ Originally I started this as an AU for Cove Holden / Zoey Ray (the malleable MC, the default name is Jaime Last). I can still use Zoey or I'm very amenable to making an entirely new OC for this or using one of my other muses above.
⤑ A knight/lord has recently married and is taking his new wife along with his troops either back to his fief/kingdom. This can be an arranged marriage, a pair that haven't seen each other in many years or something else. I'm flexible.
⤑ The main theme of this PSL is the newly married couple getting used to one another, adjusting to married life and just generally having each other's backs.
⤑ There's also room for shenanigans along the trip, whether that be fights, comedy or something more sinister. I'm open to incorporating some deep dark secret either the husband or bride is hiding or other nefarious plots.

Greek mythology

But my favourite setting/time period is mythical/Bronze Age Greece from Ganymede being taken to around/shortly after the Trojan War, because there's a lot of things one can dig into with the myths. (Especially the Gigantomachy if you drag it out, or Typhon's attempt at toppling the order. Or even Hera's...)
Otherwise historical times are great too, though (if you've got historical setting muses and feel like hitting me up, please do~).
Setting things during various historical times is great, too and modern settings as well. I've also got an AU or two if something adventurous while the gods aren't immediately around would be wanted! Or if you'd like to help Ganymede find either the golden vine his father was given, or the Palladium.
I'm fine with a lot of Greek myth adaptions and related canons, either to mash together/fit Ganymede into them straight up, or doing some sort of jamjar thing.

I would love other immortal human characters to focus on the whole what being immortal means for a human, even if Ganymede doesn't exactly live on Earth as such.

For specific characters I'd love Hebe, Eros or Hymenaios for friendship things! (Also the rest of the Erotes.)
I'd love an Apollo, especially leaning into that he might have been/was Troy's tutelary deity.
I think it might be interesting to do something with Persephone, to play off the similarities in their original situations.
I'd also absolutely kill for any of Ganymede's closest family, as much of a long shot that is, to do some family-related things before Ganymede's taken. Or maybe meeting later generations, but before the war?
And, because I'm predictable Zeus. I'd prefer a lighter/positive take on things; genuine affection as well as baser emotions, even if the situation of course can be more or less problematic in itself! Would be as interested to start from kidnapping because of attraction as well as, as the earliest sources state, only because he's so damn pretty he belongs among the gods and then things developing from there, or whatever variation of it that might be of interest, like Zeus disguising himself as a human for a while before the abduction occurs.
