May EMP Meme
FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content). FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. This section is only for game crosscanon as in the psl section people can list their preferences. ➤ Examples of crosscanon you can search for: You play The Flash from DC Comics and your dream CR is fellow speedster Quicksilver from Marvel. Or you might play a witch and want cr with other witches in general. Or maybe you play a good character messed up by evil parents and want to play against a villain character you know has evil parents, because you know it'd lead to some interesting negative CR. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be frozen or screened. Keep in mind this needs to be more specific than "this game has easy AC like you're asking for but meets none of your other requirements." Make sure you're advertising games that might click with that specific character, where a few elements fit what they're looking for. You should be thinking about the story reasons of how the character might click with the game. IN GENERAL: ➤ Don't be a dick. ⠀⠀Admittedly I have a lot of fun plot going on/development I am working on in the games I am in, so I am just looking for shipping or specific scenario writing. Where the scenes wanting to be written have purpose, and the desire to write them comes from wanting to see them unveiled. I enjoy and do best with emotionally charged scenarios where characters are extremely troubled and trying to over come issues. Or Hurt/Comfort where its either platonic, unrequited, or in fact romantic. So long as there is depth to it, I will ultimately enjoy the direction of the written scenario.
⠀⠀I ship M/F with the exception to a few characters. As well as potential Polyromantic ships - I actually would really like to see explored. One of them is: Diluc/Jean/Lisa. The other is Hinata/Komaeda/Nanami. Other exceptions include that I really ship Diluc with everyone(Not Kaeya), so long as there is something substantial where the ship can be pulled from. I would like to write it. You can ask in dm or here, and I will give you my answer. Otherwise Id like for m/f exploration.
⠀⠀ The only other exception is I am looking for a Lancelot with my Gawain to work on stuff with!! Or Tatsumi for my Jekyll and Hyde!
⠀⠀ lol exceptions aside, I really wanna do m/f so I am looking for content like that. I typically enjoy writing fluff/angst/hurtcomfort/etc nothing too out of the ordinary. However if a prompt sounds like fun. Then I am also interested in alternate universes or playing around with the canon itself. Or bending rules etc, I enjoy creative play in the ships & writing dynamics a lot.
⠀⠀ ▸ ▸ ▸ ▸ ▸ ▸ ▸ More specific, ie cravings. I really would like a Sigurd for Brynhildr. Anyone whose read Volsunga Saga & is aware of the actual canon would be nice. I am willing to write with Sutr too for the hell of it, and bring on the hellish angst.
⠀⠀ For the Valkyries, I wanted to write them with someone like Achilles or anyone who is flirtatious? Since they are characters who ( Like Nanami from danganronpa ) rely on dating simulators to understand love. I also want to write it because, I have a scenario in mind that they would not want to actually fall in love because if that occurs. It would ruin their saint graph & they might end up losing the sister that fell in love in the first place!
⠀⠀ For Mona, I kinda can ship her with anyone but she is a bit harder? Since she is demisexual and interested with someone who has a head on their shoulders not someone... Who is out of their mind. I think it is also kinda cute to see her with someone who keeps hitting on her, and her only reaction to all of that is 'Stop it. I am not interested.' Until push comes to shove, and heated interactions happen. Basically I really like the long slow burn & struggles for someone like Mona. Where its constantly dancing around the line of: It feels like we are dating but we never cross that line. But also I am a big Almona shipper!
⠀⠀ For Albedo, its hard for me to write him because fandom interpretation & his characterization is hard for me to personally put together. However I write him as someone who is uninterested in everyone & everything. Except for the few who grab his interest, and that can get him to enjoy the world around him like he romanticizes. He also likes to act as if hes unhinged - meaning that I like the prospect that he shows from time to time. That hes playful and thinks its funny if you think hes unhinged, when hes just like 'bro im just a scientist why are you being weird. Maybe I will destroy mondstat lol : ).' Though in reality he would never. ( EXCEPT YOU KNOW!! THE CURSE )
. Anyway tldr i ship mona x albedo a lot. And although Mona is my main muse, I will cry just to see almona happen????? In rp.
⠀⠀ J&H I ship him with Mordred and tatsumi... So like i know mordred is more likely. I just think its neat that Mordred tolerates Hyde and at times they are even willing to... Slap the fuck out of him and make sure Jekyll comes back. Also that Jekyll treats them like a woman? Respecting the fact that Mordred is NB and also that they would like to be treated in feminine ways. ALSO THAT SCENE FROM WONDERWOMAN IS STUCK IN MY HEAD WITH THEM TWO THE PART WHERE THE GUY TAKES HER TO GET A DRESS AND SHES LIKE 'wtf this doesn't fit * rips it *' can I get that rp where Jekyll is Mordreds master and just that... That scene happens. This poor Victorian man and his heart breaking seeing them rip a dress apart.
⠀⠀ My wol, Id love a graha tia to write with thats - just me wishing blissfully. I actually like the dynamic because when shes around him its more Prince/Knight. Where she annoyingly treats him that way, if at all to just gauge a reaction. She loves him and is in love with him, but her issues with romance is always that. Being a warrior of light means theres no time for that, so shes never confessed nor said as much? I just want to write them awkwardly talking and always enjoying each other, but never really crossing that boundary. But maybe they do? idk. I have dreams. Let me dream. Shes a good girl who acts one way, while hiding her real personality. Because she knows the warrior of light is a face, and she has to wear it for others. So she acts like a bimbo - because she thinks thats what wol's need to be like??? looks away. When not Astrologian, shes a dark knight so you can imagine what her real personality is actually like. Shes multifaceted, very loving person, refuses to let you love her. A yes man, Does what others need her to do. Never looks out for herself etc.
⠀⠀ Nanami Chiaki ok this one has spoilers please do not read any more the game is good if you havent played it. I was genuinely surprised, i avoided it because growing up everyone treated it like a joke. However as an adult, with no fandom to tell me that. I genuinely enjoyed it, so if you havent played it and want to. I would do that!! ANYWAY SPOILERS, I only really rp AI nanami because its a personal interest! I love both characterizations, they are both good girls filled with a lot of love. But ai!nanami has a level of intricacy and level of angst i love to eat up. ALSO BECAUSE AI's in love is really good food. That said I really really ship her with, Hinata, Komaeda, or Kamukura!! But also I actually ship her with Junko. I just think the idea of a girl who wants to despair and someone who loves her friends a lot. Wanting to try to help them??? Will be interesting dynamic, and you know shell die but the point is she tried. I have a lot of brainrot for all of them, honestly I could talk for hours. If the idea of it interests you, or if you have a craving/itch please come! Hit me up I am interested in writing some stuff myself with an itch of my own!! I dont have anything specific since she is a new muse that came about this month, but that will change with time!
