FOR GAME ADS:

➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed.

➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad.

FOR GAME QUESTIONS:

➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme.

➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content).

FOR CHARACTER ADS:

➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join.

➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form.

➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. This section is only for game crosscanon as in the psl section people can list their preferences.

➤ Examples of crosscanon you can search for: You play The Flash from DC Comics and your dream CR is fellow speedster Quicksilver from Marvel. Or you might play a witch and want cr with other witches in general. Or maybe you play a good character messed up by evil parents and want to play against a villain character you know has evil parents, because you know it'd lead to some interesting negative CR.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above.

➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be frozen or screened. Keep in mind this needs to be more specific than "this game has easy AC like you're asking for but meets none of your other requirements." Make sure you're advertising games that might click with that specific character, where a few elements fit what they're looking for. You should be thinking about the story reasons of how the character might click with the game.

➤ Don't be a dick. This isn't one of the anoncomms, so any snide comments or unnecessary commentary on the RP plans of others will be frozen or screened.

YOUKAI MEET YAKUZA

The spiritual realm is not as orderly a place as one might imagine, particularly within the Land of the Dead. Over time immemorial, the authority of the Enma has faded. His work to keep order within his realm has overextended him and this has allowed the hellbound Youkai to form their own factions and stake out their own claims.

Nowhere is this more evident than within the central hub: Jigoku-cho.

Originally created as a sort of trading ground between the various clans and tribes within the spiritual realm, it grew and grew into a marvelous city of grand pleasures. Here, while the presence of the Enma and of his sense of order is not entirely absent, one is able to find any number of vices to indulge themselves in. Jigoku-cho became the playground of the underworld and, of course, that created a tempting prospect for the powers within.

But more than the ‘spice of life’ that the city brings, there is also something else that this city can offer. The city built off the tributary of the Sanzu River offers a seemingly limitless supply of souls. From any time, from any universe, dead or alive: souls may find themselves drawn to this realm. Before his influence became too strained, the Enma dealt with all these lost souls directly, assigning them their labors and giving them a clear path to returning to their homes or to resurrection.

That's not the case any longer. The most powerful Youkai factions within Jigoku-cho now contract these Lost Souls to serve their interests, while promising their grandest desires in return. Once this was initially a peace keeping measure and an offer to help share the Enma’s burden, but now it is a coveted resource. More valuable than all the gold in the spiritual realm, it is something that would give any given faction complete control over Jigoku-cho if the balance were to tip in their favor.

And if one controls Jigoku-cho, they control all of the spiritual realm.

GATHER LOST SOULS

Jigoku-cho is a panfandom roleplaying game that takes place in a modern city based in "Hell". It is a combination of Japanese fantasy and mythology, and modern crime drama. Yakuza meets Youkai!

Characters brought are "Lost Souls", regardless of whether they’ve actually died or not. They are then assigned to one of four factions. Each faction serves a different role within the world. The game’s story and plot will focus around the goals of these factions and how the friction between them will shape this world. The ultimate goal of these “Lost Souls” is to work their way into earning their ticket home, to resurrection, or even another desire their heart desperately wants.

Welcome to Hell, kids.

A soul plucked from a distant world, you are reborn in crystal. Awakening from your chrysalis in the heart of one of eleven ancient shrines, you are greeted by the grim visage of a world that has been tormented by a being known as the Regent for millennia. You are an Aion, they say: a creature capable of godlike feats if allowed the time to grow. The locals of this realm fear what your presence means; time and time again, Aions have arrived, and war and suffering has followed in their wake. After all, you are one of the few beings from the scattered multiverse capable of manipulating the Pleroma and Kenoma, twin forces of hope and despair, creation and destruction. You are what the Regent needs, whether you like it or not.

Aion Teleos is a plot heavy faction game inspired by gnostic lore and themes of despair, hope, corruption, and redemption. Aion Teleos is a plot heavy faction game inspired by gnostic lore and themes of despair, hope, corruption, and redemption.


Pokémon Legends: Dreamwidth
Pokemon Legends: Dreamwidth is a community building, slice of life and exploration DWRP game based on Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Characters fall through the rifts in space-time distortions and are brought to Jubilife Village, where they are expected to pull their weight and help build up the community while the Survey and Security Corps work together to find a way to either stop the influx of new people or send them home. The game is set to have bi-monthly events centered around changes to the village and the founding and expansion of base camps across Hisui, as well as player run plots and character-driven community projects. AC will be check-in only, with rewards for participating in the game and a sense of progression for active players, but an understanding that life can get in the way sometimes. Minimal power nerfing, optional memory loss for drama if that's your cup of tea.

Surely you've noticed it. Strange distortions plaguing your world. Weather that's out of season. Events that border on the inexplicable. Ominous signs that lead to a rising, uncomfortable feeling, that your world is somehow in danger.

That danger is very real.

In a few days time, the confirmation comes. A message appears, in a window like on a computer screen come to life. It asks you a simple question: "Do you want to save your world: YES/NO?"

You could answer no, and face this danger alone. But something compels you to say yes, as a voice suddenly cries out that it's waiting for you. Resolute, you take your hand, and press it against the "screen" to answer "Yes".

And that's when the gate opens, pulling you in and beginning the adventure of a lifetime. You fall through a void that gives way to masses of 1's and 0's, before a world around you finally begins to take shape.

You find yourself with two beings; one, a small machine with a glass dome for his head, and the other a sort of plant dragon with a flower for a face. Together, they explain to you that you've been brought to the Digital World, and that you've been called on to become a Digimon Tamer.

They introduce you to other creatures like them, called "Digimon", including one that is to be your partner. Your adventure with a Digimon henceforth begins. You are now part... of Tamer Union.

A world cursed to destruction, a people resentful of outsiders and fighting for survival, a prison designed to harvest sexual energy in hopes of restoring the planet to its former glory. Welcome to the Intergalactic Correctional Institution - Reparacija. Reparacija is a pan-fandom kink game set in the fictional prison of the same name, with an overarching plot and a mix of sex, horror aspects, sci-fi elements, and some 'slice of life'. Characters are brought to the facility under the guise of serving a sentence for crimes committed against their home-worlds, with the promise of returning home after their sentence is completed. In reality, fulfillment of those sentences is all that's keeping the planet alive as the native population scrambles in a race against time to find a way to stop the blight and break the curse placed upon their planet generations ago. Character actions can change the course of the game, and emphasis is on CR-building as characters will need to rely on one another to survive on a planet that grows more and more uninhabitable and inhospitable as time goes on, among a people who only care about their ability to sustain the planet's life. The clock is ticking. Will you help save a dying planet and return home a hero, or will you let the world burn? The choice is yours.
