ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the Second Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content). FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. This section is only for game crosscanon as in the psl section people can list their preferences. ➤ Examples of crosscanon you can search for: You play The Flash from DC Comics and your dream CR is fellow speedster Quicksilver from Marvel. Or you might play a witch and want cr with other witches in general. Or maybe you play a good character messed up by evil parents and want to play against a villain character you know has evil parents, because you know it'd lead to some interesting negative CR. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be frozen or screened. Keep in mind this needs to be more specific than "this game has easy AC like you're asking for but meets none of your other requirements." Make sure you're advertising games that might click with that specific character, where a few elements fit what they're looking for. Jigoku Cho is a faction based game with a rewards system that allows for characters with no powers to gain some, or characters with powers to regain them. At the time of this comment, the plot in game is revolving around the assassination of one of the faction leaders, and leading into the christening of a new one while the other clan leaders clamor for the deceased one's territory.

Mods pick your faction for you! They're explained here, but there's four of them, each with their own values and goals.

Plot is easy to jump in on, with monthly substories noting what's plot relevant and what isn't.

AC is 8 comments with a rewards system for some other AC length threads. TDM is on April 24th with apps opening on May 1st.

[game info]: Deer Country is a horror game with themes taken from Bloodborne and Lovecraftian horror. There is a large emphasis on building a new life in the midst of the darker setting, with strong pulls towards creating bonds with other people, and learning to master the new blood types you're given when you're reborn in this world. The blood types can give people new powers, enhance canon powers, do some mixture of the two, or you can choose to have no powers at all. Characters can also suffer from corruption in the game, which can slowly drive them insane, and if left untreated, can cause people to turn into a beast of their choosing.

AC is 2 proofs and each proof is either 10 network comments or 5 log comments. They have to show interaction with at least two different people. Alternatively, if you make an open log or an open network post that reaches the required comments (20 comments for network, 10 for logs), you can just post a link to that and also pass AC.

[game info]: Jigoku-cho is a faction game set in a bustling, crime-controlled city in Hell, inspired by the Yakuza games and Japanese fantasy & mythology. Characters are offered a contract for their service, then sorted into one of four clans. The game is largely centered on crime drama and how IC actions affect the plot & balance of clan power. In addition to the fun yokai flavor, there's subquests, power (re)gains, 18+ spice if you want it, the ability to make your own pace (overall medium, but very backtag friendly!), and lots of ways to get plot-involved. AC is 8 comments across 2 threads monthly.

So far, Kamui is nosily gathering info and new friends across factions! Hilariously, he is in Shuten, the clan most known for HONOR and THROWING HANDS, @ his cast please help him blend in with the big buff handsthrowers lmfao. [game info]: Yogen is a horror game set in a high school, in which characters wake up suddenly as students of the school, spending their first days drifting between their school life memories and canon memories until they finally "wake up" and realize something isn't quite right here. Currently everyone is trapped inside of the school, so they're trying to uncover the mysteries of Yogen while also figuring out how they can get home.

Applications are on a rolling basis and there is a player cap of 30 people, but we do have a few spots open currently! AC is 20 comments over 2-3 threads (or 10 comments and an open toplevel/post,) but it's relatively easy to meet all things considered. There is a test drive meme here if you want to try it out!

B) The Pleroma, those that want life as it is to continue, who deny despair and wish to save their worlds. They are currently on the run from the Regent after escaping their initial capture.

WoL, Estinien, and Cid are on the Pleroma while Emet-Selch and Meteion have joined the Kenoma. There IS a cast cap of 7 and we're currently at 5, which means we can only take in 2 new characters, but I would still love to have them so there you go!

[game info]: Deer Country is the sequel game to Deerington, that one horror game set in a nightmare world. Deer Country is the somewhat post apocalyptic result of the end of Deerington and it's got a lot of Bloodborne but also a lot of mixed tech/steampunk elements, fantasy, gods, lore and the setting can be very flexible and oh, you get cool new powers with blood magic and also you're a squid! It's all very weird, horrific and fun!

The bulk of the cast has been in the settings for over 3 years and have thus undergone a lot of development but they remain a strong team through it all and at the core they are Paladins of Voltron through thick and thin, and they need their family at their backs! So come join us if horror is your jam, we'd love to have you!

Activity Check is monthly and requires 2 proofs which can be any variation of: 5 log comments or 10 network comments from you. Or a single open post that has at least 10 log comments and 20 network comments from you can suffice. Backtags from threads started in the past 3 months are also accepted. We also have 3 AC free months throughout the year: April, August and December, so long as you are not clearing a strike, you do not need to post AC on these months. First month in game is check-in and TDM threads count toward AC.

In all seriousness, I'd be very delighted to see anyone! I am partial to Astrid and Stoick most. But I'd love to see any of the other dragon-riding kids or their allies. As well as Viggo is my Favorite HTTYD villain and one I think would be super interesting in the setting!!

It IS a new game, but the community has been really welcoming and creative! There's been a lot to do and did I mention, because we're a dragons series, there are DRAGONS?? And the potentiality to befriend one one day? It's the perfect place for dragon riders though hunters and fliers can stay far away from our new dragon friends, or maybe you'll change sides.

Welcome to Deer Country. A panfandom horror game that serves as Chapter 2 to Deerington. Fear not! You didn't need to play in Chapter 1 to enjoy Chapter 2! Characters find themselves being reborn from their own worlds into the Waking World. They discover that their blood has changed and now holds incredible power and influence over the world around them. Characters will deal with monstrous terrors of the unknown while exploring cryptic, cultish themes and existential dread. Yet maybe they will still be able to call this place home.

This game deals with trying to establish a new, happy life in a terrible situation and will be as much about building a society together as it will be surviving the terrors of the new world. There is an emphasis on fulfilling a specific role within society, how you connect to the people around you and what you can do for them and what you can do for yourself. May you truly find your worth in this world. Be reborn. Find a new purpose. Have your go at a proper second chance.

It is pan-fandom medium-fast-paced game with monthly mod-designed events. There is no "core story." The game is more focused on worldbuilding/community building. Deer Country is an intense horror game with heavy inspiration from Bloodborne, Dark Souls, H.P Lovecraft, Stephen King, and Junji Ito.

[game info]: Deer Country is a horror game sequel to Deerington, drawing on the setting of the video game Bloodborne and eldritch/cosmic horror. The emphasis of the game is on building relationships to withstand the dangers of the world, dealing with personal corruption and the threat of transformation into a monster, and adapting to a new life in the game's setting.

Activity Check is two threads of either 5 log comments or 10 network comments (or one of each) involving at least two different characters, or an open log or network post that clearly exceeds the prior requirements.

In game, Paul Atreides is currently involved in several intrigues and is working on developing his blood magic powers. I'd love to have any member of House Atreides join the cast for feudal-familial bonding!

[game info]: Deer Country is a cosmic horror game that is heavily inspired by Bloodborne. Characters get blood based powers among entry into the game. The games events are centered around creating character growth and building relationships in a new and confusing place where many people don't have the support system they do back home. I really think this premise makes the game super great for Evangelion characters.

Kaworu himself is currently learning to build relationships and understand what it means to connect with others.

AC is pretty easy, requiring two proofs of 5 log comments or 10 network comments. There are also three free months where AC is just check-in.
