FOR GAME ADS:

➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed.

➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad.

FOR GAME QUESTIONS:

➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme.

➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content).

FOR CHARACTER ADS:

➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join.

➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form.

➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. This section is only for game crosscanon as in the psl section people can list their preferences.

➤ Examples of crosscanon you can search for: You play The Flash from DC Comics and your dream CR is fellow speedster Quicksilver from Marvel. Or you might play a witch and want cr with other witches in general. Or maybe you play a good character messed up by evil parents and want to play against a villain character you know has evil parents, because you know it'd lead to some interesting negative CR.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above.

➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be frozen or screened. Keep in mind this needs to be more specific than "this game has easy AC like you're asking for but meets none of your other requirements." Make sure you're advertising games that might click with that specific character, where a few elements fit what they're looking for. You should be thinking about the story reasons of how the character might click with the game.

The Drift Fleet was renowned across the galaxy as the intergalactic reality show to follow. For centuries people have been taken away from their homes, pulled from multiple universes and from multiple times, and watched like a bug under glass for the amusement of faceless aliens. But what was entertainment for some was hope to another - for one race desperately needing help, The Drift Fleet was an answered prayer. For you it will be the start of a whole new adventure.

Welcome to Agra 10.
Where is this planet? Well, no one is quite sure of that, yet. When you arrive, you encounter a glowing orb that harmlessly downloads information directly into your mind. What you learn from it is this:

This planet is now home for you. Centuries have passed since anyone has been able to live here, though. Agra 10 is a dying world thanks to inexplicable and debilitating energy storms that have destroyed everything in their paths, including the Agrii people. Once, this proud race of millions had a thriving world full of advanced and sophisticated technology. The storms cut that number down to hundreds, huddled together in the heart of their capital, Temba.

That is where you are now.

The Agrii are now gone and Temba is the most intact area left (which says a lot about the rest of the planet). The orb is a Data Point left by the departing aliens to tell their story. But how did you get here? Why are you here? What are you supposed to be doing?

That is all for you to discover. The Agrii’s hope and your own survival is now in your hands. This isn’t a show anymore. It’s not a game.

It’s a Revival.

No, but really. What is this game?

The Revival Project is a jamjar game that picks up after The Drift Fleet concludes. While it is a spin-off game, it is only loosely connected to the plot there and anyone can join regardless of their presence in The Drift Fleet. NO prior knowledge of The Drift Fleet is necessary to play.

From what you’ve discovered so far, your character has been brought to Agra 10, a destroyed planet that has been abandoned for centuries. You will soon learn that your mission here is to rebuild the capital city and the rest of this once-proud world. The Agrii, who remain off-world, have found that outsiders are somehow partially immune to the energy storms that massacred their population. Because of this, they will continue to find the best helpers from every universe to bring here. Lucky you are among those chosen.

In addition to rebuilding the planet, there is another task you must undertake. After all of the chaos that has splintered them for decades, the Agrii no longer fully understand what it means to be part of a community. Watching The Drift Fleet was the only lesson they had to help them relearn how to function as a cohesive society once more. So while you work together and even (eventually) travel to distant worlds, know that you have fans watching and learning from your every move. And don’t be surprised if they even reach out (although their English leaves much to be desired).

TRP is structured as a slice-of-life, adventure, and survival game where you have the opportunity to pick whichever of those elements you wish and avoid those that you do not. Whichever path your character travels here is entirely up to you.

As the game progresses, events will uncover larger and perhaps surprising truths about your new home and the race that brought you here. Not all is what it seems. There will be plenty of opportunity to take advantage of the setting; how you do so is yours to decide.

So, as the Agrii would say: Whale Comb, he rows!

anastasia is a young woman of half human, half angel heritage. while she was once very dutiful to her angelic father and their creator, a series of unfortunate events led her to rebelling and falling. she's bold, energetic and cheerful, but she's also impulsive, thrives off violence and has a very shaky grasp of morality. also highkey gremlin and menace, not angelic in the slightest, and will try to start fights because she's bored.

lapis is the young heiress of a family that oversees a supernatural information nature and who also have their hands in some criminal dealings. she has extensive difficulty expressing herself, but she's a softie on the inside and aspires to help others. also has no filter and despite seeming meek and quiet, is intensely stubborn with a hidden troll streak. can be very loving, but is also as unforgiving if she's slighted. also all her friends are ghosts.

shiragiku is a raen of deepsea origin, having come from a village that made its living plundering ships and killing sailors. while she's shunned that life thanks to a former dragoon (now mother figure), she's still very brutal and isn't shy about getting her hands dirty. in general, she's a friendly and personable woman who is hard to fluster, and she has a habit of being very upfront about her opinions. still has a very big heart. is also still adjusting to life on land, and isn't a fan of the sun at all. also totally up to date with msq!

Once every millennium, a new god is born, pulling in outworlders to be “bonded” to their power and influence. The planet has cycled through many gods this way for millions of years, but only Four Cardinal Gems remain. The premature birth of the newest Cardinal Gem, however, has turned the world of Noctium on its head.

As the god of transformation, it is unknown why Malachite is unable to provide boons to the Gembonded. Slumbering in another plane of reality, the Four Cardinal Gems offer their power instead. But even these gifts have their own terms and conditions...

In order to stabilize the erratic powers of the newest deity, the Gembonded must work together to produce Manna. As more mysteries of Noctium unfold, so too do the looming dangers that could threaten all life on the planet and, quite possibly, beyond.

NOCTIUM is a sex-friendly sci-fi/fantasy panfandom roleplay set on the floating islands of an otherwise desolate planet inhabited by the gems. Characters arrive bound to one of the four Cardinal Gems, Amethyst, Sapphire, Emerald, and Ruby — each offering unique abilities and monster transformations.

- Raihan is a powerful Pokemon Trainer, the eighth Gym Leader of Galar to be exact, who specializes in dragon-types and utilizing weather effects in battle. He is also a selfie/social media addict and is striving to be the Champion of Galar. He's one of the strongest trainers in Galar, and also the tallest, but is also one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.

- Mizuki is a girl who is a lot stronger than she looks, being able to lift 220 lbs easily. She only recently left a horrible home life, and the experience left her prickly and defensive, yet it's all a front to hide how much she's hurting from it. Dream sharing is a big part of the game, so if that's your thing, we can definitely explore it!

- Mizuki Date is the 18-year old version of the above, and her defensive prickliness has faded into unrelenting sass and a confidence in herself that the younger does not have. She's a detective, the president of an idol company, the owner of a maid cafe, and a student! She's got a lot on her plate that she somehow manages to balance out. She's still hurting, but for a different reason this time. Also has an AI in her left eye.

AU. whatever. for Ben, I have vague mechanics ideas about how his guardian angel fits amidst Fear entities, please apply within if you don't mind my inclusion of this. for Gerry, I dream of any and all AU excuse to have him working with the main cast to stop the Unknowing / post-Unknowing. casual storylines where we just kick rocks and see what happens, or intense moments, I'm down for anything! I am fully here for departure from the canon story as well.

stranger things — for both, probably mostly Gerry for peer-aged stories (would love to play with an Eddie!) but Ben is also very suited for things if anyone plays Hopper or Joyce, the teens (Eddie and Will especially,) or if you play one of the younger characters and wants a mentor dynamic or found family. Gerry travels a LOT everywhere for so many reasons and I can easily plant him into Hawkins over crossed wires between what he's usually doing, and the canon craziness that occurs there. very much same for Ben. I'd love anyone from the cast for either of these two.

[game info]: Victory Road is a super cute Pokemon-based game where the characters get dropped in, meet Pokemon friends, and have adventures! There are Trainers, Breeders, or Team Rocket options available for joining. AC is pretty easy and there are monthly events (usually biweekly, but right now there's a month-long one in Hisui thanks to time-travel happening). Our YGO cast is expanding! We're getting some DM people with Marik and Seto, and Arc-V characters (Yuya, Yuzu, and Gon) have been there for a while.

Anything from mythical Bronze Age Greece when the myths are happening up to modern day! Gods or mortals - would definitely love doing crosscanon with other immortal humans. (If you'd be interested in a doubles situation in a jamjar or dimension hopping thing, that'd be fun too! As well as other Greek myth adaptations, though some of them I might prefer as, again, jamjar or dimension hopping.)
-For specific characters, Hebe, Eros (or the other Erotes), Apollo (mostly for the connecting with Troy, with Apollo as its tutelary deity), but anyone's great.
-For shipping, Zeus - I'm open to different approaches, but prefer a more positive, reciprocal situation, even if it doesn't necessarily start there.

For Paris:
Mostly mythical Bronze Age, from childhood to late war, or post-death in the Underworld/Elysium (mashing together with Supergiant's Hades game would be fun!). I have a modern day reincarnation AU for him as well. Canon divergences of various sorts of straight up AUs would be great. Looking for basically anyone, whether gods or mortals; anyone from the enemy side we could always engineer some situation for them to be meeting/stuck for a bit together or something.
-For specific characters, Hektor especially! But any siblings as well, and Aphrodite, Helen and Menelaus. Ares too, because it'd be interesting to play with the golden crown situation, maybe into a one-off fuck or whatever.
-For shipping, definitely both Menelaus (especially Menelaus, I confess) and Helen, but I'm wide open to any other male characters as well.
