ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the Second Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content). FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. This section is only for game crosscanon as in the psl section people can list their preferences. ➤ Examples of crosscanon you can search for: You play The Flash from DC Comics and your dream CR is fellow speedster Quicksilver from Marvel. Or you might play a witch and want cr with other witches in general. Or maybe you play a good character messed up by evil parents and want to play against a villain character you know has evil parents, because you know it'd lead to some interesting negative CR. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be frozen or screened. Keep in mind this needs to be more specific than "this game has easy AC like you're asking for but meets none of your other requirements." Make sure you're advertising games that might click with that specific character, where a few elements fit what they're looking for. ➣ looking specifically for meaty psls focused on world building, AUs, Holy Grail Wars, character exploration, etc. I love exploring Sakura’s psyche so anything that can facilitate that is good stuff.
➣ canonmates and crosscanon happily accepted! In particular I’m on the hunt for FGO LB6 characters as I recently watched the translations on youtube and think Sakura would work really well with that cast.
➣ shipping and gen are both good! Sakura lends herself very well to romance but since she’s so affection-starved, any type of relationship works.

➣ like I said, gimme your LB6 characters. Looking to explore the themes of being tied/exploited by a fate you never asked for and how that affects you as a person. Wouldn’t mind just AUing Sakura into the LB6 world or doing a Holy Grail War-type setting. Particularly would love Oberon, Morgan, Castoria, or any of the Fairy Knights. Heck I’ll take Aurora for the utter mess that would be.
➣ Specifically would love to play with a Rin Tohsaka and exploring that tragic sister dynamic, either through conflict or them getting a chance to be family again. Also looking for an Illya since I think their dynamic was interesting in the VNs but not really explored much. That said, anyone from the original FSN cast is welcome!
➣ Would like an opportunity to rp with a Ritsuka or Gudao! Can AU Sakura into FGO shenanigans where she’s a fellow Master or just stuck along for the ride, I think there’s a lot of potential there to explore.
➣ Obviously any type of Servant from the Type Moon titles would be welcome. Sakura tends to do best with anti-heroes but I’ll come up with a reason to make anything work, she’s very flexible.

➣ Sakura works great with anyone but shoutouts to hero-types with messy internal issues or anti-heroes who probably have concerningly high body counts but need someone to empathize with/humanize them.

themes/psl ideas

➣ I really love AUs to an absurd degree, can’t stress that enough, so just a rundown of what I’m willing to write: arranged marriage AUs, Howl’s Moving Castle AUs (I love that universe), period pieces, etc. For the most part, nothing is off the table. If you’re not sure about an idea, just shoot me a DM and ask!
➣ I will also never turn down an opportunity to play around with the concept of Dark Sakura so /finger guns at everyone

TL;DR

➣ I’m currently in school + working a 40 hour week so tags can range from daily to once every couple of weeks. I do my best to make sure my rp partners know what my schedule is like. If nothing else, once we get a psls going, I will stick to a thread for the long-haul.
➣ I’m more of a psl girl but memes are okay to get some ideas going! Memes like snowed-in, body-heat, trapped somewhere-ish types are best since then Sakura can’t just flee the premises rofl.
➣ really I just wanna come up with cool, detailed AUs and throw our characters in a cesspool of introspection while they maybe hold hands and cry.

If you would be down for some interesting crosscanon HGW shenanigans colliding with weird esoteric worldbuilding from another very very very very long VN, I can offer a traumabitch that can trace her lineage back to Kohaku in the form of Sayo Yasuda from Umineko. She'd work as a Master, but I have a... really elaborate idea for a Servant version of her too which you might like.

If you want canon CR, I also have a Ritsuka/Gudako muse that I'd like to break out! I'm just not fully caught up on the story yet as I'm part of the way through Atlantis.

Tho I will also not say no to Sakura meeting either variation of the FGO protag! No worries if you're not completely caught up. If it helps, we could come up with our own semi-singularity so as to avoid having to worry about the details in the plot.

Hiya! I actually have a few ideas in mind: the first of which being fluffier found family/sol scenarios with Kiritsugu. They both have similar trauma, and I'm not about to pass up an opportunity for him to dote on his daughter-in-law. :>

The other falls more into crosscanon shipping territory, as I have a few teenaged girls who would pair well with her (a few canon characters, a few OCs.) So we could play around with ideas there, and see who sticks.

aldkfaofi Sakura would lose her mind wanting to impress Kiritsugu so I'm definitely down for a thread between them. If she cannot show her merit to her father-in-law then she has truly failed.

And I'm good for shippy stuff too! Like I mentioned, Sakura is very flexible. Just show her an ounce of affection and she's ready to nuke a planet for ya... sometimes a bit literally but it's fine, she's doing her best out here.

i do have two options in mind:

1) i'm a sucker for having characters meet from different universes and just the potential awkwardness of having rin and sakura meet being from different iterations of their world would be interesting!
2) having sakura and tohsaka travel various worlds? i think that's cute. sighs.

Okay I honestly love both ideas tbh... probably depends on what we'd like to play out. Them travelling worlds would definitely be more on the cute side, while them meeting each other (maybe UBW vs HF) would probably -- at least on Sakura's end -- result in her mentally screaming at all the differences that played out in their timelines.

We could always try out one idea, see how it goes, and always create another psl if we both have time! Right now I'm leaning towards different universe-idea first.

Hey, so, I have a character here who bears quite a few similarities to Shirou and absolutely fits the "hero type with messy internal issues" archetype. Dimitri has heapings of survivor's guilt, cares more about others' happiness than his own, and can't imagine what would make him happy, among other things. And I've wanted to have him interact with Sakura for quite a while.

I'm up for all sorts of things -- a Holy Grail War AU where he's summoned as a Lancer (with a twist on the catalyst used to summon him), an arranged marriage AU, maybe even a Pokémon AU. I also would be open to Dark Sakura making an appearance, because that would also have some parallels to Dimitri's character arc.

Admittedly I'm not familiar with Dimitri's canon but I have heard that he and Sakura do share similarities so I'm eager to explore that! If he's a Shirou-type, she'll definitely feel a connection with him.

HGW AU probably would be the easiest option to bring out Dark Sakura... though I am also a huge sucker for arranged marriage AUs, ngl. Go ahead and shoot me a DM and we can discuss our options further if you'd like!
