FOR GAME ADS:

➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no banners, no blinking text, no obnoxious tables, no sparklies, no pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad.

FOR GAME QUESTIONS:

➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme.

➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be frozen and/or deleted.

FOR CHARACTER ADS:

➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join.

➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above.

➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be screened.

➤ Don't be a dick. This isn't one of the anoncomms, so any snide comments or unnecessary commentary on the RP plans of others will be screened.

[game info]: REALLY awesome kind of slice-of-afterlife game, with really cool events and a super easy activity check. The mods are very approachable and flexible.

Game is set in a pretty unique version of Hell, but there's angels and limbo cases as well a demons. NOT a grimdark game at all-- very amusing dark humor and discomfort, though!

Best of all its a sandbox game, meaning players are free to make up thier own businesses and settings to add to the game!

AND FOR POTENTIAL BOOKERS... Liz did get judged for heaven, but she's down in Hell looking for GEE I DON'T KNOW WHO. So. I would ssssssssooooooooo love to see Booker's reaction to her doing that. Plus his reaction to... *gestures to BaS Elizabeth*

I'm hunting down a game too but so far not sure what to try. Riverview? Eluvio? It would amuse me to app in somewhere along with Sanji.

Space is definitely the best. We had a max ages ago so there'd even be a little bit of built-in CR, if that's a motivation. The game is pretty laid back, the events are usually fun. Space vagabonding has it's moments. It's slice of life sometimes but not all the time?

That probably makes sense.

So there's a test drive here but it's a bit old. I think there'd be a new one sometime in March if you'd prefer to wait for that? Usually the first week or so, I'd imagine.

It is an invitation game, but I'm preeeeetty sure an invitation could be arranged. :D

Pfff, automatic "why'd I have to get stuck with this asshole?" cr is indeed crazy tempting, but I have no idea what game I'd toss my chips in with either. I have to leave to be a gross socialite in about 20 minutes, but when I get back, I'll take a look at both those games, see if anything catches my attention.

littlehades) might be a good option for Georgia or Toby! (and maybe also the others! I'm not super familiar with the other canons.)

it's not a plot-heavy game, but it does encourage players to drive the momentum. I think the setting could use characters like Georgia and Toby, especially since part of the game's metaplot is that Hell is undergoing reform to be made a little less hellish — investigative journalism or just plain investigating could uncover some neat stuff, and goodness knows the amounts of corruption and general weirdness would leave them both with plenty to do!

MATOBA... I have no castmates to offer you but I love Natsume Yuujinchou, I've seen a couple Natsumes around before but never a Matoba >:I!!

thefarshore might be a good fit for you, actually! It's based on another series with heavy Japanese folklore themes (Noragami), though there's a thorough summary of the important stuff in the FAQ. Short version is characters get to be either gods or shinki (servants of the gods basically) and are paired up. There is a memory loss aspect where all shinki forget their pasts, but god characters get to keep all their memories if you're not into memory loss! There's no power loss and all characters actually get an extra power for free. AC is fairly light (two threads that are either 5 log comments or 10 network comments each), the game also runs on a 1:3 IC:OOC day ratio so its easy to take your time with threads if you're a slower tagger or need to take a hiatus and don't want to fall too far behind ICly.

The overall tone of the game is very open-ended, if that makes sense? The setting lends itself well to both SoL and horror depending on which aspects you want to play aroudn with, and there's an overarching plot that comes up in events from time to time. They recently added a mission system as well that's basically a way to follow specific plot threads and get rewards for it. I wouldn't call it a very plot-heavy game, but there are a lot of options to work with if you're interested in just plot of SoL or horror or whatever.

Anima Echoed is a pan-fandom fantasy adventure game, focused on characters and the magic animal companions they find themselves bonded to. Together they can explore an out of balance world, and try to find answers and bring order back to it.

Characters wake in the city of Haven and find themselves drawn to a shard shaped much like an egg, and formed from a massive crystal that makes up the heart of the city. The the powers held in this shard and the creature it hatches are the key to keeping Haven safe from what has ruined the outside world. But the characters are not confined to the city walls, and any number of adventures may call them beyond Haven. Whether they settle into life in the city or go on quests, characters have no shortage of adventures and ways to bond with their companions, and figure out how to heal the world!

We're a small game settling in after our intro log, and are gearing up for our first collection of events in March. There will be exploration, quests, and parties to be had! Also shenanigans. Plenty of those.

Ok we don't have a cast or anything but as an old Homestuck I would adore having Dave over at

entranceway! It's a slow/medium paced old-school jamjar based around Lewis Carroll's Alice In Wonderland. Apps are processed weekly and AC is bimonthly, requiring 1 network post/open top level and 4 threads with 7 comments each. A lot of people get intimidated by the AC, but since it's every 2 months, it's easy to space it out- plus, everyone in this game backtags basically forever and will rally around to Make Sure You Have It if you're short on stuff. Additionally, we have a big population of characters under 18, so young chars wont seem out of place.

Whether it's a magic space imbued with its creator's personality or an entity in its own right is unknown, but the Clock has both an immense desire to please, a scientific curiosity about the psychology of relationships, and occasionally a ridiculous sense of humor. Physically, the Clock is an infinite series of rooms and doors, from broom closets to spaces vast enough to hold an ocean, looping in on itself and shifting near-constantly, the only method of navigation being by force of will. Fortunately, as it's not malicious and enjoys interaction, it tends to bring its inhabitants together rather than stranding them alone in its endless maze of wonders.

➜The Clock Box is a casual panfandom game focused on character development, forming close character relationships, desires and cravings, physical intimacy, exploring the setting, and investigation and problem-solving. Characters are encouraged through use of the setting and the Clock's tendency to abuse tropes to develop close relationships with fellow inhabitants. Characters are also encouraged to explore their surroundings, create their own spaces through the forces of belief and imagination, and are given hints and clues as to the nature of the Clock and how they might come to understand it and maybe, to figure out how to go home...if they decide they want to leave.

➜Activity is check in only with both IC and OOC rewards for submitting activity. The game is currently small with a relatively slow but consistent pace, and is backtag friendly. Events are run monthly, optional, and range from physical or powers-based character changes to setting changes to parties. Clock Box accepts canon characters, original characters, canon AU characters, or CRAU characters (within reason). While the game is usually invite-only, we are currently offering mod invites with the submission of 10 comments from the TDM. Applications are always open.
