I'll be honest black sails isn't much better. And when I say better I realise it makes it sound like I don't approve, but really gay pirates fighting epic battles is my aesthetic. I'm actually quite tempted to watch Hornblower. Because of totally academic and not at all shippy reasons. Ha. Ships.
