PROBLEMS/SUGGESTIONS
If anyone crosses the line or there's some other issue or suggestion you want to leave, comment here.
NOTE: I live in PST. On Saturdays I sometimes work day shifts or do things when I'm off, where I don't get home until a pretty reasonable time of 5-6 pm in the evening. If I don't get to the post before I go out, I will make sure I post it when I'm home. If it's a rare day I work evening shift, and don't have time to post it before my shift, the post may go up super late (in which case I don't mind people poking to make sure it's going up.)
I have a recurring entry on google calendar that sends me reminders to do the post. Guaranteeing a set day but a flexible time the post goes up will allow me to reliably post EMP basically forever, regardless of my RL situation. As such, I will no longer be answering "will the post go up?" questions unless it's past 10 PM EST. After that, I'll let people know what's up if I'm running late. (Or act on the reminder if I forgot).

Are you hoping instead of just games advertising for players, players advertising for PSL partners, or players asking for game suggestions, that there could be a section where players could also advertise as players of certain characters seeking castmates?
Because that is a potentially good idea. The PSL section is very similar to that, given how many people look for castmates for PSLs, but having another similar section and it'd just be geared towards people searching for castmates for games insteads of PSLs might work.
Maybe organized just like the PSL section? People could name the canons in their subjects and then talk about who they play, what games they play in, what cast members those games already have, and who they're looking for. The "wanted" sections in the game ads do perform that task a bit, buuuut tbf they can be a little impersonal. Sometimes people are looking for a cast to join but would want a chance to talk to the players first.
Is that basically what you're looking for? A section like the PSL section but for luring castmates to games?

Okay, so next meme I'll do a trial run of a "Find A Castmate" thread. Since players looking for games with certain casts can mention it in the player ads, I'll set the "Find a castmate" thread up for people looking for characters to join the casts of their games. I think using a similar setup to the PSL thread would be easiest. People can put the canons in the subject titles, and put the games, who they play personally, what characters are already in the cast, and what characters they're looking for.
To keep the posts from getting too long, though (since cast lists can get a little long) I'll probably set it up so people use a little form, just to keep it a short format, but there'll be a section where people can talk about the cast or the game to give potential players info.
We'll see how it goes! I'll test it out, and if it catches on, it can continue to be a thread used in future EMP memes.
