ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the last Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no banners, no blinking text, no obnoxious tables, no sparklies, no pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be frozen and/or deleted. FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. My work alternates between a ~40 hour week and a ~60 hour one so it's hard for me to be around every week (namely during the 60 hour ones). So mainly looking for games that are either slow/flexible pace or where not being able to tag every week won't be inconveniencing to other players.

hey!! i love your tony and think he'd be cool over at pathema it's on the light side with a lot of room for development. ac is a breeze and so is the app. definitely a great burner game for someone who is very busy. i live that life too bro. there is a tdm up now on the ooc comm if you're interested.

Hi there! I'd love to see Shulkie at thelegion! It's a sci fi/superhero game set 1000 years in the future of DC Comics. In it, the characters join up with the Legion of Superheroes to fight against an omnicidal threat that plans to destroy all of existence.

It's slow/medium paced and definitely plotty, with a lot of your standard comic book plots, everything from fighting Lovecraftian horrors to disaster relief to foiling supervillains. Right now, for instance, we're running a plot that involves The Four (evil Fantastic Four expies from Wildstorm) meddling with the past, and the characters having to time travel to preserve the origins of several key DC Comics superheroes, like Superman. Player plots can also be run at almost any time!

Right now, we have a really...uh, eclectic Marvel cast. I play Nova here, and we also have Sam Alexander, Spider-Gwen, Justice, and Speedball. I'd love to toss Rich at Shulkie. Aside from just longtime respect, she's pretty much got his undying thanks for trying to help Speedball after Stamford.

That's pretty much where Rich and Vance are on Stark too. A bucket full of booze and wishing they'd decked him.

The pace is actually pretty manageable! The plots are kind of intense but usually they run 2-3 weeks before they're finished and we try to section things out in ways that let people team up with others that go a similar pace. A lot of them drill down to people being paired off to accomplish something, so that makes them pretty backtag friendly. And plots are opt-in, so we have a lot of players skip a plot occasionally to have time to work on their backtags.

Usually we're pretty clear up front in the plot writeups how each plot is going to be run, so people can see that before they do their signups, and we tend to run 2-3 plots at a time so people have options.

We've been kidnapped to an alien fleet and there's a lot of Shady Stuff going on among them, and we're currently visiting a kind of space hub with all kinds of aliens and even more Shady Stuff. It's also open to player-run plots and events.

We've got a fair number of players with hectic work schedules, yours wouldn't be a problem. AC is also low, 5 log or 10 network comments.

Please refrain from spamming entries with the same game without personalizing the ad. Due to repeat spamming by The Addend, I'll be screening every comment from this game's players that doesn't make it clear why a character is being invited.

If you personally would like to play with the offered characters, or The Addend meets specific preferences, say so, but as it stands, it looks like this game has just been spamming anyone that has remotely matching preferences.

OMG get your Tony Stark in our game: City of Sin. Apart from the pace and tagging speed you mentioned being totally feasible, we have a Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye and Cap from MCU in game. Plus mutants.

We could totally use some more 616 people in The Pines! officialnotice It's a temporary memory loss game (characters usually get memories back after the first 2 weeks) with a false memory mechanic that's optional and can be a lot of fun for making CR. There are monthly events that involve natural disasters, detective work, illnesses, etc, and lots of players are perfectly fine with just talking out happenings when RL makes it difficult to actually write out certain things. And AC is just check-in with the mechanic of being able to earn redeemable points for activity.

oooh, I've got something that's super into player plotting!! plus_ultra is a new superhero au game based off of the series My Hero Academia. characters are given an ability (or not) called a quirk, and can then pursue a career as a hero, walk the streets as a vigilante, live the civilian life, cause some trouble as a villain or more.

reserves are open right now, along with an au workshop so you can get some feedback/help with fitting your character in, and a test drive meme! not to mention, you can essentially use your workshop link as your app— the process is very lax with emphasis on character quirks and weaknesses. apps open from may 13th to may 20th, and the game itself opens may 16!

We have a few characters from a Marvel high school AU (Iron Man: Armored Adventures), myself included, and would totally love any other Marvel cast ever over at tushanshu! We'd love any characters, of course, but we do have the smattering of cast-ish mates for the Marvel two. It's reasonable pace-wise (AC is only 15 comments a month) and there's lots of opportunities for player-run plots in addition to the metaplot the mods work on and have monthly itineraries for.
