FOR GAME ADS:

➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no banners, no blinking text, no obnoxious tables, no sparklies, no pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad.

FOR GAME QUESTIONS:

➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme.

➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be frozen and/or deleted.

FOR CHARACTER ADS:

➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join.

➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above.

➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be screened.

➤ Don't be a dick. This isn't one of the anoncomms, so any snide comments or unnecessary commentary on the RP plans of others will be screened.

I've been looking at Recursion, actually! I have a couple questions about it, though - how much of it is plot-heavy and how much of it is slice of life? I'm keen on a mix of the two, but I'm not too picky!

Fitzgerald and reality TV is either the best or the worst decision ever made, someone keep him away from the infomercials...

And that sounds real cool! I especially love games where villains can be villains, so getting my anime authors all up in that would be very cool!

What are events usually centered on? I'm assuming it has to do with stuff they do for TV, is there any down-time between events?

Yes, I admit it is a little different than what I thought it would be as well but I'm rather enjoying myself. Not to mention it stays at a well even pace except for a few events that if say life sudden punches me in the face I won't get too far behind.

They have restored quite a lot via electricity and other commodities. The clinic is running well except for the coming and going of players and most common things can be found in stores. You won't find many unhealthy vices like cigarettes or unhealthy items that Hope might deem dangerous for humans survival. We are kind of their food. He needs them healthy. It has gotten a little lax in terms of surival as no, there is no reason to ever venture into the caves other than food or exploration. It's only when certain gods are not present that suddenly the shops are replenishing or monsters are let out of the caves. Our last in game event made known an enemy that is constantly chasing them and it was only through Fear's mistake of splitting the city in two since he's constantly moving the city without letting anyone know. There is a good handful that are rather jaded to the situation. Others are constantly trying to research and find a way out. While relaxation is a thing there is also another handful that is always wary of everything being a trap from the food to the commodities. I cannot say how many times that a drink isn't just a drink or a common party has a catch. Even Tyki who lives in the moment will avoid a party if too wary. As of now, no, Kanda has no reason to lave the house other than food. He's too much of a hermit because he doesn't trust anyone and there is no one worth it to him to come out of other than a couple of people.

i slipped him to the back element since i saw gotg2 after i made this post and then nebula started yelling over absolutely everyone, muse-wise. but he'll be back, especially since the show returns soon, so hit him up wherever you see him! almost definitely relegated to short form commentspam memes so peel your eyes on texting & sexting and i'll do the same for dutch. OH SPEAKING OF i just started watching killjoys so my current canon knowledge of it currently stops at the beginning of 1.10 but i'm gonna power through the rest relatively soon!

I'd...say it's kinda balanced right now? We've mostly been SoL so far because the big Awakening hasn't happened yet--so the characters aren't out fighting monsters or using their personas yet. But that's coming soon...and then there have been some events happening tied to all of that as we build up to the awakening. Most of the network posts have been about the weird memories and the weird stuff happening, while the more prose-based logs have been some mingles at a restaurant, people getting together to figure stuff out, or there was a big festival recently.

tl;dr The game has only been open for a month and the main plot is just about to start...so it's kinda hard to say what the game will balance out to be.

I'd definitely be down for something with those two! Did you have anything in mind in particular?

The events are usually centered around the current destination! For a month or so characters have the opportunity to explore a new planet, take up any variety of jobs on it (coughs fighting and black market stuff coughs other stuff), and every destination has a different theme. For example, the current one consists of a bunch of asteroids and is really rocky. Because of this, there is a rock and roll theme, so characters can play in a rock band and wear really embarrassing rock star clothes. In the heist I mentioned, a "famous rock star" was suspected to have special secret information, so characters broke into his complex to try and obtain info on how everything works (how the reality show works, who brought them there, etc). We were even given the opportunity to decide on the information our characters were able to find!

Since I mentioned jobs, that's an additional way for characters to earn money! There are also player-made permanent establishments within the fleet (such as bars, restaurants, a library, etc). So in case someone played a character who didn't care for the reality tv stuff, they could simply do something else.

There are periods of what's called "drifting week" in which they are heading towards their next destination. So it's our sort of time in-between destinations to focus on anything else, or just chill. Team building or whatever, though you can do that while on destinations too. But players can make things happen too, if you wanted to, during such time periods, with weird things happening to characters. For example, some people have temporarily aged their characters down, and others have had weird things happen to their character's abilities. There are things that can be done to make such things happen!

omg TL;DR along with things that happen in game, you can make as much or as little happen as you want! Sorry if I've said things that make no sense aahhh.

Yuuki will be less fine, but she's not fine with most everyone's time periods because they both know what happens to Kaname already, so. Pfffft.

Yuuki would be shocked and confused and why does his heart seem different, yet she feels close to it?? Ren sort of gave away the fact that a cure has been found for vampirism in their world to Yuuki who was anon at the time. She might first think that he took the cure, but the fact that he doesn't remember her would. . . make her think it was by a different method. And that other method would lead her to assume that the only person who would sacrifice their life to change him would naturally be her. She would maybe consult Ren first to ask if the cure comes with amnesia, and why would he take it if that meant forgetting her to begin with....

Basically lots of confusion and loss.

She'd feel somewhat selfish for being sorrowful over him not remembering her, since he spent a little over ten years with her not remembering him, too. Basically lots of feels. She'll try not to overload Emp with them all. XD

I DON'T ACTUALLY KNOW DOLLS at all i mean i think i watched one or two episodes of we but that's it. KILLJOYS S3 IS STARTING SOON AS WELL asdljh there's a lot of johnny stuff happening in s2 ENJOY IT.

i love the texting and sexting meme those are pretty much the only things i still really do on bakerstreet so this works well for me.

Hello hello! It's great to see more VKers around. Gonna bounce off of Yuuki-mun's remark about in general saying that we would absolutely love to have a Kaname. It would definitely be both crazy and interesting if he were to be pulled from a much later point. Zero is currently from Memories, roughly around the time when Ai was not even a year old yet. He now knows that Ren is his son, too, which had both given him hope, but definitely thrown him for a loop. ~~Yuuki is so far behind them. /sob~~ I think by this point he has at least an idea of Yuuki wanting to turn Kaname human, though, so Zero learning about how she really does would hurt. :') Again, it would be interesting.

For years, Atia reigned over her island, growing her powers through the sexual worship of the Natives of that world and the collared people she abducted from their world. And for years Eros watched from his own corner, envious of the powers Atia gained without the chance to intervene. But when in a fit of rage Atia sent off her collared people back to their world, Eros saw a chance he could not ignore.

Building his own island and using most of his powers to create a means to bring collared guests to his temple, he demands the same kind of worship his cousin had in order to grow his powers back, and build a better life anyone could wish for on the island of Pathema. I'm not sure how you feel about AUs, but I feel like you could come up with something pretty entertaining for Gou in a world full of super heroes if you'd like!

How do you feel about a game where you affect the world based on emotions and can potentially pick up magic?

empatheias is a good mix of SoL and plot and might be up your alley. So far, it's just myself and Haruka. But we would love to have more castmates. AC is 10 comments over 2 posts so it should be perfect for someone who can only get out once a day.
