ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the last Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no banners, no blinking text, no obnoxious tables, no sparklies, no pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be frozen and/or deleted. FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. [wanted]: I could just say "everyone" and leave it at that, but any of the Son family (Chi-Chi, Goten, Pan, etc.) would be fantastic! Any version of Trunks (main timeline, Future Trunks, Xenoverse...) would be cool too, and Vegeta and Bulma seem like they'd work well in this setting.

Piccolo would be great to have in the game, since he'd pretty much be Space Batman. Having Krillin and Android 18 around would be interesting as well - Goku can't go Super Saiyan in this setting (I figured it would make him more likely to work as part of a team), so the change in that dynamic could be interesting to play with!

Last, but certainly not least, we would love to see Mr. Satan. Seeing as the premise involves characters getting super-powers, there's all sorts of things that could be done with him, like making him ridiculously over-powered, or giving him something that isn't much use, like flight (everyone gets a ring that lets them fly), and watch him get by regardless with the skills that he has. It seems like it would be so much fun to have him in the game.

[game info]: the Legion is set in the 30th century of the DC Comics universe, long after heroes like the Justice League have faded into memory. However, knowledge of the Legion of Superheroes comics isn't a requirement. To combat a menace to time itself, the Legion is calling upon heroes from across various universes to help.

Activity check is once every two months - for your first activity check, you just need to post that you're there, and beyond that, you need several threads with a total of 10 or 20 comments (ex. five or ten for you, and five or ten for the person who you're commenting with). There's lots of combinations, but it's all covered here.

Here's more information as to the sorts of characters and abilities that can be accepted. Reserves and apps for new players are open at the moment, and there is a test drive to try if you want to try out your character in the setting.

How difficult are the app standards of this game?

They don't seem to be too bad - I hadn't written an app in years, and I still got in. It helps that you can use a link for the history, and the personality section can only be a thousand words at most.

The main challenge seems to be finding a balance as far as powers go (you can give your character one really strong power or two or three weaker ones) and figuring out what you hope to do with your character in the long term. (in Goku's case, learning teamwork is my goal for him, so I gave him three powers that left him versatile, but much weaker than in canon)

Oooh, just like that other comic game from RP's past, yeah that's pretty challenging.

I'll have to look into the setting and see if apping bitty!Trunks here is possible (seeing as he's not fully developed)

I'm sure it will be fine, especially if Dragon Ball Super is taken into account. Trunks was only around for one arc in DBZ, but so was Videl and there's no problems with her inclusion.

Have you seen the Battle of Gods movie yet? Trunks gets a good amount of screentime and development in that.

Just Ressurection F. You would think Funimation's streaming services would have the latest movies, but no. It has the entirety of the series, though. Even GT

Probably won't be able to app in until next round anyway. I did some browsing and it looks like you need to contact the mods to inquire characters younger than 14. Not that it will be difficult to convince them that a Saiyan kid can handle the reality of battles and impending doom.

Really? That's surprising - it's a solid movie, though, so I'd recommend watching it when you get the chance. Still, I hope things pan out, and there's always the test drive if you want to try him out!

Looks like that chance won't be anytime soon since none of the streaming services I use have it, but if I can watch Super (which I started) it's not necessary anymore ahaha.

I'll see if I can get to the test drive. My new laptop charger won't be until the first, so I'm restricted to phone tags until then. ;T smh

Sounds good! (well, aside from the laptop charger bit - that's too bad) I skipped over those episodes (seems a bit pointless to spend thirty episodes watching alternate versions of movies that I've already seen), but by my understanding, there's some significant changes between Super and the movie (Beerus comes across as a lot less sympathetic in Super's version, from what I've read).

Once you get to episode 19, you can skip to episode 28, since episodes 19-27 retell Resurrection F. (which you've already seen)

(Your understandlng would be right! Beerus has been giving them hell ever since he arrived!) I just hit Episode 19 a few hours ago (before I stopped to do RP things) and was totally wondering about that deja vu. Ahaha this is so very helpful, I thank you for that!
