FOR GAME ADS:

➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no banners, no blinking text, no obnoxious tables, no sparklies, no pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad.

FOR GAME QUESTIONS:

➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme.

➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be frozen and/or deleted.

FOR CHARACTER ADS:

➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join.

➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above.

➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be screened.

➤ Don't be a dick. This isn't one of the anoncomms, so any snide comments or unnecessary commentary on the RP plans of others will be screened.

thefleet_net? I play this 6 year old version of Leia there, plus we also have an Anakin, and they'd both love to have a Padmé around. There's also a Rule 63 version of Kelvin timeline Kirk called Jane Kirk, which might be interesting to play Sulu or Jaylah off of.

The Fleet is a pan-fandom sci-fi game set on a fleet of space ships belonging to an alien race called the Owmi. The fleet periodically moves locations which offers new places for players to explore, and though general gameplay is primarily slice of life-style, there is an overarching metaplot that players can participate in and affect and periodic events to make things more interesting. Pace is generally slow-medium, but that's mainly due to the game's small size, and may pick up if we get more players.

Kaname! If you're down for Persona-based, temporary memloss, Recursion (FAQ/Nav link) is a game that started up recently where characters live as their AU selves for 3 weeks with an increasingly creepy phone app that seems to trigger memory regains, after which they Awaken and regain the rest of their memories at once. Characters then go out to fight Shadow enemies as teams and figure out the mystery of the city they live in. \o/ The game is medium/slower-paced and faster on weekends with a mix of SOL and plot. We also have a prospective Zero on the current AU plotting post, and I'd love to see more Vampire Knight here. :)

Might I suggest

empatheias for Padme? It's a dw based game that tends to run on the medium side of things, there's a driving plot and events but it's normally a bit more on the slice of life side. Overall, it's a floating island that is driven by emotions, that tend to effect the environment and have effects. It's a really fun setting.

There's also a massive Star Wars cast, including other prequel characters! A Padme would be amazing here, hope you check it out!

hi, i've been looking at the game and i'm super interested in being in it!! you and your cast are especially wonderful to ~~stalk~~ watch and read!!

i've been thinking of apping in with another character though, if all goes well, and if padme is still available when the next app cycle opens up, i would definitely throw her in the mix and see where it goes from there.

I see your Kaname and raise you a Yuuki! Someone already linked to the game for Star Wars, so I wont reiterate the premise for Empatheias, but I'm part of the VK cast there and would adore having a Kaname! In game we have Yuuki, Zero, and Ren! There's a lot of cast shenanigans due to various timelines. Ren is from the end of the series, Zero is from shortly after Ai is born, and Yuuki is from the time period in which she was still living with Kaname and not using her fangs.

Since the other two realize telling her Kaname is gone would be a BAD idea and kind of devastating, they haven't mentioned that bit to her...

At the moment she's living with Ren ~~That's easier than dealing with the fact that she also loves Zero~~ but she's jumped on the fact that Zero seems to want to be 'friends' again.

Ren was recently on hiatus and was crystallized but has returned, and Zero was canon updated to the point he is now, so at the moment we've just been dealing with their returns. Yuuki would love to see her oniisama again though! It would be a blast to RP off of Kaname and his presence would further mix things up and make for an interesting scenario!

hi!! this is a late reply (i totally forgot i made this ad lol) but i have been reading on the game and looking around the comms and you and your castmates are really great and i'd love to be a part of it!! i've been playing kaname with his canon point being nearer to the end of the series (like, pretty much after he "died" etc), but i'm wondering what your opinion is on a post-series kaname appearing in the game? he'd be completely different obviously, and it would be interesting to me, but i wouldn't want to throw your character off too badly or anything. i'm willing to to app him at the canon point i usually play him at.

Yuuki will be less fine, but she's not fine with most everyone's time periods because they both know what happens to Kaname already, so. Pfffft.

Yuuki would be shocked and confused and why does his heart seem different, yet she feels close to it?? Ren sort of gave away the fact that a cure has been found for vampirism in their world to Yuuki who was anon at the time. She might first think that he took the cure, but the fact that he doesn't remember her would. . . make her think it was by a different method. And that other method would lead her to assume that the only person who would sacrifice their life to change him would naturally be her. She would maybe consult Ren first to ask if the cure comes with amnesia, and why would he take it if that meant forgetting her to begin with....

Basically lots of confusion and loss.

She'd feel somewhat selfish for being sorrowful over him not remembering her, since he spent a little over ten years with her not remembering him, too. Basically lots of feels. She'll try not to overload Emp with them all. XD

thank you for the reply, that helps a lot!! i was actually talking with a friend and we were thinking, for maximum suffering, that kaname could be apped into the game with his canon point a few chapters before the end of the series and then if, fingers crossed, i get in and manage to stay in the game for a while, then i could just canon update him? it would be sweet torture, because he would still have memories of yuuki and zero in the game, but nothing else past that??

actually, if i go that route, i would check with the mods just to make sure it's feasible, because of the complications of him losing his memories in canon.. or else, of course, i will app him from around vk memories to make it (relatively) easier.

anyway yes sorry for rambling!! but i will reserve him then drop him into the tdm. ♥ but if i don't finish his app soon, then i will probably have to wait for the next cycle, which i believe is august for you guys?

All of that sounds amazing and you have no idea how excited I am. VK Rpers are so rare I feel, and suddenly Kaname and Aidou on the reserves page, it's like Christmas, only it's neither July or December!

BUT YES, we'll roll with whatever time period you ultimately decide to go with. Kaname coming before the end would be interesting too, since they were at such odds, but then they ~~made a baby~~ made up, but then were tragic anyway and hnng this couple man.

If you throw something up on the TDM I'll definitely hit it up.

And yeah... I wish July was open, but for whatever reason they are closed that month.

Hello hello! It's great to see more VKers around. Gonna bounce off of Yuuki-mun's remark about in general saying that we would absolutely love to have a Kaname. It would definitely be both crazy and interesting if he were to be pulled from a much later point. Zero is currently from Memories, roughly around the time when Ai was not even a year old yet. He now knows that Ren is his son, too, which had both given him hope, but definitely thrown him for a loop. ~~Yuuki is so far behind them. /sob~~ I think by this point he has at least an idea of Yuuki wanting to turn Kaname human, though, so Zero learning about how she really does would hurt. :') Again, it would be interesting.
