ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the Second Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / kink you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no fonts and other html that make ads super long, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content). FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canon in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. This section is only for game crosscanon as in the psl section people can list their preferences. ➤ Examples of crosscanon you can search for: You play The Flash from DC Comics and your dream CR is fellow speedster Quicksilver from Marvel. Or you might play a witch and want cr with other witches in general. Or maybe you play a good character messed up by evil parents and want to play against a villain character you know has evil parents, because you know it'd lead to some interesting negative CR. ➤ There is a "Pairings You Want to Play" section, where you can ask for castmates or crosscanon you'd like to ship with. Please format this with "[YOUR CANON] seeking [CASTMATE/OTHER CANON (if crosscanon)/SEE DESCRIPTION (if a general character type)]. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Pairings You Want to Play" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. Alongside castmates and crosscanon, you can choose to ask for OCs or general character types as well. Try not to get too wordy and please don't outline entire scenarios. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be frozen or screened. Keep in mind this needs to be more specific than "this game has easy AC like you're asking for but meets none of your other requirements." Make sure you're advertising games that might click with that specific character, where a few elements fit what they're looking for. You should be thinking about the story reasons of how the character might click with the game. IN GENERAL: ➤ Don't be a dick. This isn't one of the anoncomms, so any snide comments or unnecessary commentary on the RP plans of others will be frozen or screened. ➤ All mod responses regardless of whether they're rule breaks, correction requests (like someone posting in the wrong section), or thwapping someone for spamming copy-paste ads, have always been and will almost universally be public. If someone sends a PM and the conversation gets combative, this will also be made public and posted to the comments of the mod contact page. This is for the sake of transparency so people can judge the emp mod's communications for fairness themselves. ✦ For crosscanon, I recently caught up on Genshin's main storyline and I think he should meet Dottore, as a treat. They're both morally fucked up scientists whose names start with "Zand" and who splintered themselves into fragments that live on after the original passed away... 👀

✦ Gen threads are my default for Lygus but not gonna lie, I love to mash barbies. That said, any ship with Lygus is practically guaranteed to be a toxic mess and potentially just a one-sided and highly disturbing infatuation on Lygus's end. Right now, I have a particular hankering for Lygus/Stelle thanks to RedCallisto's fan art of the two and because I'm still not over their 3.5 interactions. Lygus calling her his executioner and that line about wanting to experiment on her did something to my brain chemistry ngl.

(notes: canon fill-ins, aus are both interesting to me, as is precanon exploration. any au i would want to retain the presence of magic. for example, if going modern it would be something like urban fantasy rather than 'ordinary' world setting. at the same time, i've discussed even more out-there aus with some people and we got it to work (example: space opera, likelier than you think!) so most things are probably not off the table if we want to get creative.

whether canon or au content, what we do and to what extent may be amplified/more enriched (? word choice ???) if we are both familiar with current canon content. but it is not a deal breaker if you aren't, or certainly for crosscanon we can sort of create our own "world" if that's better. i love crosscanon. gimme.

i do consider qifrey a morally gray character. he exercises a selective/ biased discretion and it shows throughout the story. at the same time, he feels a great deal and cares quite earnestly for his apprentices and olruggio, while also having an amicable wavelength with others. his actions can all be traced back reasonably but whether or not that makes all of them "right" is debatable! one thing i really like about wha is the capacity for the characters to be as complex as they are, so despite cornerstones of something "good" they can still end up doing "bad" things. or at least questionable. i could go on about his character, how much love he has in him but how it is complicated by [redacted] but that's huge spoiler-city so i shall refrain. that said, if you know, /gestures vaguely/ and then points to some favored tropes: slow burn, touch starved, body heat, h/c scenarios, etc. >.>

for cr, i am very interested in exploring the gamut -- positive, negative, tumultuous. as a person with many secrets and a humongous chip on his shoulder, it's not particularly hard for people to be polarized by him and depending on what you are looking for with your character, this can result a number of ways.

open to psls if private is better, though typically i find that starting with a thread on a bakerstreet post is a decent place to test and see if writing meshes and we're both into it, with no hard feelings if it doesn't hit.

iiii am up to date with the manga but can adjust accordingly and happily for anime-onlys, people still in-progress of reading, and so on.

I'm completely open to all gen PSLs across all of my characters, and I really enjoy thinking of plots and objectives to facilitate gen PSLs. That being said, when it comes to shipping:

• For the Hoyoverse guys, I'm pretty open to most M/M ships with castmates. The most important thing is that we get along OOCly! I'm super into "Aether with a gun" content right now, so Childe might be fun for that, but given current fandom trends, Flins, Varka, Diluc, Kaeya, and Lohen would all be great. I also need to catch up with HSR, but I really do miss writing Caelus, so feel free to let me know if you want something with him and it'll probably help me catch up faster. My faves for HSR shipping are still Aventurine, Dan Heng, and Sunday, though given recent content, I would like to explore Blade/Caelus in the Stellaron Hunters era too!


• For the Doctor, I am generally seeking older adult castmates. I can be flexible with the Doctor's sex and gender, but I generally lean towards a take that is nonbinary with a masculine lean. My personal faves for Doctor ships are SilverAsh, Mlynar, Hellagur, and Ulpianus, but I am pretty flexible and I'll try to make most ships work for friends. I also like writing the Doctor in the Endfield era if anyone wants to tag me with an Endfield muse!

LOHEN - GENSHIN IMPACT

Early-mid twenties knight from Mondstadt (fantasy germanyesque land of the drunk and free) who is a battle thirsty sadist type (with...some masochist stuff thrown in?), though he's not a sore loser and is capable of being friendly and getting along with others. He just also does things like give his underlings a hard time for "their own good" (aka his own entertainment) in manners such as poisoning, pranks, and general harassment. He will do best with people who can handle all of That. I'm pretty open in terms of castmates since I don't have a Top Favorite ship for him as of yet, and equally open to crosscanon. For castmates, I do love AUs and also AUs based on genshin lore and theories in particular!

KAVEH - GENSHIN IMPACT

Late 20s (lol Genshin ages) architect who can be a bit of an overworking perfectionist and who has a bleeding heart. He's very focused on art/beauty though he also insists on function in his designs. He can be a bit emotional/has big reactions and is overall a good guy and way less messed up than Lohen up there. I'm mostly interested in finding Alhaitham(s) to ship with, mostly for A Zillion AUs though I'm happy to do canon stuff as well, but I'm also perfectly happy to thread off other castmates or crosscanon if you want to give him a go.

OLRUGGIO - WITCH HAT ATELIER

No one I want to play right now has Specific ages, but he's probably mid to late 20s? Anyway, a kind of gruff and blunt sort of guy who makes magical contraptions/spells, Olruggio acts a lot grumpier than he actually is since he is at his core very kind and considerate of other people. He's in the voice-testingish stage, and I am fully up to date on the manga so don't worry about that. I'm mostly interested in throwing him against castmates for the time being while voice testing, but I'm happy to do crosscanon for any interesting ideas. As to specifics I want to play, checks notes what if he had hanahaki for [redacted] and the only cure would be reciprocation which would [redacted] or something, idk. Or cute platonic stuff with any witch kids out there, surely the daughters exist. He will do pretty well against just about anyone, I think!

QIFREY - WITCH HAT ATELIER

Probably mid to late twenties witch teacher who seems friendly and easygoing but is, like Shrek, an onion with layers. He's the last one I have to write a blurb for and we have hit critical "ok let's get this done" mass here. Anyway, Qifrey has a lot of spoilers inherent in him which I can gloss over but would sort of prefer to be able to touch on, so I'd rather play him against up to date people; I'm a bit more interested in doing Olruggio right now, but I feel comfortable playing either. I'm looking for long-term PSLs with him, anything is on the table. I like slowburns, enemies-to-friends dynamics, and romance is definitely an option but will take lots of work which I am totally down for. Team-ups within the WoD universe are cool too, he loves exterminating Sabbat for the fun of it so there's definitely dynamics for uneasy alliances with hunters or "enemy of my enemy is my friend" style setups.

I also just love back and forth conversations and mental sparring, he's notoriously well-traveled and has a lot of worldly knowledge as well as being a scholar and mage. Lots of ins for characters with mystic backgrounds and worlds.

Any sort of setting works for this guy as long as it's not super futuristic/sci-fi. He can be dropped easily into any time period from the 1600s to modern day. Given his globetrotting he's probably able to be at any location, too. He was in torpor from 1925-2025 but timeline fudging is possible.
