FOR GAME ADS:

➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no banners, no blinking text, no obnoxious tables, no sparklies, no pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad.

FOR GAME QUESTIONS:

➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme.

➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be frozen and/or deleted.

FOR CHARACTER ADS:

➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join.

➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above.

➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be screened.

IN GENERAL:

➤ Don't be a dick. This isn't one of the anoncomms, so any snide comments or unnecessary commentary on the RP plans of others will be screened.

it might be a little slow for your tastes, but fade rift is a small game using dragon age's setting. if you're not setting-familiar, that's definitely not a requirement; it basically just works like generic high fantasy.

characters can be au'd in, but don't have to be — they can also just fall out of a hole in the sky straight from their canon. so you know. that's always fun (ouch)

we're very backtag friendly, and there's both an overarching plot and smaller monthly opportunities for characters to go on missions, explore, and make trouble. we aren't open for apps for rifters (the dudes who fall out of the holes in the sky) until september, but if you're interested we'd love to goof around on the tdm with you! or at least i would. so.

AC's super simple — 5 comments in a log, or 10 comments in a network, and then a bonus point system you're not actually required to care about at all. canon updates are also pretty easy, and come while your character's dreaming.

we don't have castmates for any of your dudes, but we do have a lot of people who love the canons on your list, including me hi hello. we aren't open for apps for rifters (non-au'd characters) until september, but if it sounds like your kind of ting we'd love to mess around with you on the tdm.

we're very plot-focused, with an overarching metaplot to Save The World, and smaller monthly missions and tasks, including player-made plots. there's almost always something going on to throw yourself at.

while we don't have any castmates right now, we've had both a corvo and an outsider before, and the latter made a big impression on some characters, so that could always be neat.

we aren't open for apps for rifters (non-au'd characters) until september, but if it sounds like your kind of ting we'd love to hang with you both on the tdm.

Nope! Not at all, I'm so easy to win over and so is Dante, so you can go wherever your heart desires! Never hold back. But on some real talk, it can probably be the most blandest of all scenarios like a coffee shop or waiting in line and the two of them together will more than likely try to one-up the other in a flamboyant, stylish manner, or make it straight up sexual innuendo city.

we're small, but very plot-focused, with monthly tasks and missions that contribute to a larger goal. though characters need to be able to cooperate to some degree to like, not end up dead, tense CR is a given and we have several players (including me hi) who really enjoy it.

Cool. I don't actually think of this guy as a Silver, as that's PokeSpe, and Gameverse doesn't actually have an official name. (Silver is his fanon name, which coolio, but not at all my cup of tea ^^;)

Interaction really depends on if you want pre Chara dev (meaning a Giant Arsehole of a jackarse,) or the Gymleader... who'd make it a point to grab Paul by the ear re: how he treats his pokemon. He sees that path you're on..... (Which is hilarious, because Niko's on that Arc in his game. The early stages at least. It's going to be glorious.)

[game info]: Here is the basic premise of the game! But a quick summary is your character doesn't have any memories of their canon life, they live an AU one in the city of Recolle where you can gain canon memories, abilities, and items back. You can gain these things back through interactions with other characters, events, and other interactions with the environment! You can work out the AU of your character through the AU workshop that goes up on August 10. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask! Everyone in the Daiya cast is very friendly and we would love to help with the plotting or anything else you might need!

Hello! Over at

maisondeportes we have a modest Abyss cast; there's Dist, Sync, Arietta, and poor Luke who really needs a friend tbh. The game is medium pace at its fastest, and everyone backtags; many of us work too so we know how tagging around it can be. We have a very active discord server, too, which makes it easy to plot.

As for setting! It's pretty spooky, set in a mysterious castle and surrounding town; characters arrive filling the role of 'servants' in the castle. It's very supernatural and mystery-driven, with some horror if you want it, and some of the mods have a D&D background which plays into it at times(like for example we'll sometimes roll a die for 'can my character find this'). They are very flexible and accessible.

If that sounds interesting to you, the game play, faq, bestiary and setting pages have a lot more info. We'd love to have you!

oh boy if you love AUs and don't mind no canonmates, allow me to make jazzhands towards

That's fine, too! Silver's just the name ingrained into my mind when I see this rascal; adapting to another name ain't no thing.

Heh, Paul could come from various points in time, though it's more interesting to place him after he gets publicly humiliated by Brandon or by the end of the series. He doesn't do a 180 in terms of his character and whatnot. And the vast majority of his controversial pokemon treatment came from Chimchar (which came across as ignorance and incompatibility rather than actual malice or sadism); all his other teammates seem A-OK with his brutal methods - they're all probably assholes of varying degrees too. :P For what it's worth, he stopped releasing pokemon entirely after Chimchar as well. Too bad that all happens well before Paul gets his whole world shaken up. XD By the end of his run he's softened up a little, but he still has very horrifying battle tactics. In many ways he plays like a defensive-oriented metagamer. He doesn't get all buddy-buddy with Ash at the end thankfully, and he doesn't quit being a trainer. He just learns to maintain some form of respect for the guy and accepts his differences. Though to me, that doesn't mean Paul likes the guy.

Made sense to me that Paul's next foe would be a more extreme version of him. It's been pretty consistent with Niko's counterparts that Paul's usually the underdog between them regardless.

I WILL. As soon as I have an idea of what to do... or I'll just throw like... over 9000 images at you and be like HAVE FUN, PICK SOMETHING FOR US! They're already going angsty misery with the bar scene and Nero all MY DAD'S DEAD, RIGHT? so I mean... we'll see.
