FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no banners, no blinking text, no obnoxious tables, no sparklies, no pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be frozen and/or deleted. FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Seeking:
• Castmates and cross-canon CR for everyone. I’m not a RP snob, if you think our characters can have some chemistry, come at me.
• Gen and shippy stuff, it’s all good if we have chemistry going. I play most of my characters as various shades of bisexual though Pietro might have to be dragged into m/m with some reluctance but later in life sexual exploration could be fun in a long-term PSL.
I’m down for one-off threads but I’d love to build some longer PSL’s just because I tend to find them fulfilling. Not really looking for games right now mainly because I tend to find 1-on-1 to be less stressful and works better with my work schedule. My tagging speed is medium and will try and do at least one or two tags a day depending on work or length. I tend to write longer tags just because I like introspection and giving my RP partners something with meat on their bones to work with but I’m perfectly happy to do shorter boomerang tags too. I do not expect my partners to match me in length, write what you want to write is my general rule of thumb. Okay onto character specific wants!
Jack/Soldier: 76: I would love to do gen and shippy stuff. I ship R76 but I also ship him with other OW peeps. Jack/Ana forever holds a soft spot for me and I could happily get into some old man bara with Jack/Rein. Uhh since 76 is a little older than your normal DWRP fare, I’m not comfortable shipping him with the younger peeps in OW. So people 35-40+ would be best for him for canon and cross-canon. SC!Jack is a little more flexible.
That being said, I’d adore some 76 awkwardly fending off keets like Hana and Lucio as well as striving to remain gruff and hold people at arms length while the rest of Overwatch is trying to drag him back into the family kicking and screaming. I tend to play Soldier: 76 as pretty grumpy on the surface with him generally only easing his guard down around people like Ana and the old guard so to speak but I would kill for him to be faced with someone like Pharah or McCree who he watched grow up and realize they’ve become their own persons, comfortable in their skin. Especially when it comes to Pharah who I fully believe he acted as a surrogate uncle or paternal figure towards. Yes, he and Gabriel were absolutely pulled into tea parties and having their finger nails painted at sleepovers while suffering through wearing plastic tiaras and trying not to laugh at the other and what have you. Suffice it to say, they totally spoiled her rotten and she was the resident OW mascot on base and you can pry that headcanon from my cold, dead hands, Blizzard! ;P
I would LOVE to do some pre-Fall stuff with SC!Jack and AU’s are my RP lifeblood. I love them so very much. Gimme role-swap with Gabriel where Reyes is Strike Commander and Jack is either his SIC or relegated to Blackwatch and having to deal with the moral grayness. Gimme Reaper!76, Gimme self-indulgent Police!AU’s, Modern Military AU’s. Hell I’m up for just about any kind of AU with Jack. Right now I’m kinda thirsty for some OW/DDADDS crack cross-over shenanigans.
For Axton: Literally anything. BL is kinda obscure, I know but he’s such a fun laid back sorta guy I feel like he could mesh with a lot of space-based canons. I’d prolly give my eye teeth for a Hyperion!Spy Axton sent by Handsome Jack to infiltrate the Vault Hunters only to discover they’re not the lawless Bandits he’d been lead to believe and then having to deal with his own conflicting loyalties. Like seriously, I’d give my eye-teeth for this. Also LBR, Axton/Jack would be a hot trainwreck of a ship. I’ve done cross-canon with him and RvB types and it’s a fun mishmash so yeah, gimme literally anything for him.
For Pietro: Canonmates would be wonderful. I’ll admit, I stopped reading around the time of AvX just because I got super frustrated with Marvel’s BS so I’m not quite up to canon but anything before then I have most likely read and cringed over from Cap’s Kooky Quartet era all the way up through HoM. I love playing his prissy, bitchy ass. I’d kill for a Luna or a Crystal to play off of (I know, I have ridiculous hopes) but I’d also love a Wanda for strained familial times as well as any and all Tommy and Billy’s. I’d be TOTALLY down for MCU cross-over shenanigans mainly because my life is complete when he and Hawkeye are exchanging snarky barbs and banter back and forth with each other. I lowkey ship them in the comics but obviously AoU kinda sank my ship with much cruelty. Gen and shipping are all good though I do tend to play him as pretty hung up on Crystal and skirting the line of demisexual. How else do you explain 40 years of canon and him really only hooking up with one person? (Yes I’m WILLFULLY ignoring Marvel’s new manwhore flirty take on Pietro just because it’s full on wtf for me) Note, I won’t write Maximoffcest in any way shape or form. I feel like his relationship with Wanda and his family is fucked up enough without needing the EXTRA drama of incest.
For North Dakota: God, give me a South to play off of. I am firmly in the camp that they are both complete fuck ups and no one was right or wrong when it comes to how canon played out. I don’t demonize South, I don’t elevate North to sainthood and would kill for a realistic play on their strained relationship. I’d also kill for other Freelancers to play off of. York especially since they have amazing chemistry together. I ship them platonically, I ship them romantically, I ship them one-sided with North pining for York but York only has eyes for Carolina. (I would murder for a North/York/Carolina PSL thing). Give me heart-breaking canon, give me AU fix-its, I want it all. I’m pretty open with my shipping preferences for him. About the only thing I won’t write is North/South and I’d rather not do that North/South sharing a lover thing since it skates a little close to incest for my comfort level. Otherwise, I’m down for just about anything including cracky cross-canon if you think it can work.
