ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the last Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no banners, no blinking text, no obnoxious tables, no sparklies, no pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. [game info]: Empatheias is set on an Emotions Island that used to be floating but isn't exactly anymore, where the title 'emotions island' isn't exactly figurative, given that they not only literally manifest, it can affect what happens in game! There's a pretty good mix of both slice of life and plot and what you can get from it is as big as what you can give and it's totally up to you what route you'd like to take.

In regards to the cast, Mion's just started up an Otherworlder's Games Club in July and she's still coping with the loss of Shion as of late, although she does have Keiichi by her side. Also, everyone is currently from post-Matsuribayashi-hen, although we sure won't stop you if you want to pick another canon point.

Empatheias is a game where emotions influence the environment and shape the world around you. There's some SOL, but it's mostly a plot driven game with space to run player plots. There's a lot of world building going on now, with characters now able to explore more of the world outside of the starting city. For the most part, the core of this game is the playerbase decides where they want the world to go. Pacing-wise, from my experience it sits around mid-pace, with it picking up during events. You have two options to complete AC, 1 Entry and 7 comments from elsewhere, or 10 comments added up from two threads minimum. You only need to meet half AC the first month you app in!

Currently Reserves are open. Applications will open between October 1st-4th and this is our current Test Drive!

Cast going ons! Maya is looking into spirit channeling in Emp and dealing with a houseful of pets. Dhurke and Apollo are currently living together in Sharnaath with two wyverns. They are potentially fostering two more wyverns in the future until they get new owners. Ryuunosuke and Sherlock are handling their Consulting Agency. Kay and Sebastian still need an adult.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn @ The Far Shore OR Persona Recursion

The Far Shore is a pretty large game, but with a very relaxed pace and easy AC. It has two events every month, with one being a training log that welcomes in new characters, and the other being a unique event. Events can range from SoL to fighting zombies. There is an overarching plot based on mystery individuals who summon demons and want to overthrow the Heavens. Extremely friendly playerbase with all sorts of characters!

Characters can either enter as gods (which come with a new power and a temple) or shinki (who can transform into weapons/items/animals but are technically dead and amnesiacs). Gods and shinki are partnered up, as a god using a shinki in battle is the only way to destroy ayakashi, which are essentially the monsters of the game. Partnerships can be RNG'd, or you can request someone in particular OOCly!

Based on Noragami but requires no canon knowledge to play in it.

Persona Recursion is a so far slow-paced but plot-focused game with easy AC. It's still getting its feet under it, but we're working on that! Has a combination of AU and memloss aspects, although you can play with that for as little as a month or a couple longer now. Canon powers and items aren't allowed (yet) but in exchange your character gets a new outfit and a Persona summon to help fight. Small playerbase so far, but we do have a TDM up!

Characters live in the idyllic island city of Eddan, living out normal lives. However, a strange app suddenly appears, asking strange questions and unearthing new memories. In the collective subconscious of the city, strange things are stirring, and it's up to those who've been Awakened to figure out the mystery of how they've gotten here and what is happening in the city.

Based on the Persona games, but requires no canon knowledge.

Seriously though, DF is about whatever you want it to be! SOL? Exploration? Drama? Wacky shenanigans? Choose your own adventure! Characters are now part of a fleet of starships that fly together through the galaxy while their lives are recorded for a reality show. New systems are visited regularly, allowing exploration and activities/quests on planets, which sometimes come with mission rewards (like canon regains). If you prefer the funny side of things, sponsor drops and augments malfunctions can give your character crack effects to deal with like the old ljrp game style. Augments can also be upgraded to get your character some cool powers - they have a price though. Better start improving your ratings, bro.

The game is small and very relaxed, slow paced and medium during events. AC is super easy. Full navigation on the profile! DF requires an invitation to app but we can get you one! Apps are always open.

Note on S3: Because of spoiler rules, S3 as a canon point and its characters can be used starting the second half of October. The whole cast is currently 2x13, and we'll discuss potential updates after S4, since we're missing some information we are still not sure how we'll deal with. Of course you can choose whatever canon point you like, this is just a little blurb to let you know how we're currently standing since on-going canons can be complicated like that. ^^;

There's a lot of opportunities for slice of life shenanigans, as well as exploring the wider world and having adventures.

Currently the KH cast is mostly just doing CR building stuff. We recently lost our Axel, Aqua, and Leon and are mostly recovering from that. Most of the cast lives in the same house with some in other places.

[game info]: Spellbind is a world-hopping adventure that moves between 'high frequency' (magic) and 'low frequency' (no magic) worlds. Everyone is given a special bonus power that works anywhere that can basically be anything you want. Characters spend months at a time in new worlds learning about them, dealing with the problems there, and gathering energy sources for the mysterious witch who summoned them.

The game pace varies depending on events, but I'd peg it as medium. The mods are very responsive to feedback and very open to player direction in plot and structure. AC is 20 comments in 2-3 threads with a bonus AC option to help affect the world. There are also weekly updates to keep you in the loop! The playerbase is very friendly and great at working together to come up with plots and initiatives!

[game info]: A jamjar game that is a literal meeting of the multi-verse. Characters "wake" from a dreamlike state into Nautilus, the city of change. Reality bends to force of will, and those with stronger wills become more powerful over time. The task of the wakened is to protect the timelines and physicalities of all the different universes in existence, but it isn't easy when different forces have their own ideas on what to do with their power. The city itself also likes to change things up from time to time, putting its residents in trying situations for the fun of it or to test their mettle (it's hard to say which).

Relatively slice-of-life with (temporary) power loss, but as player plots and metaplots are quite prevalent in the game, it's more a 50/50 mix than anything else. Feel free to tag into the most recent test drive or to read more about the game's setting and information here!

Also alien characters would have to convert to one of the four races of Thedas (though they don't have to be AUs, it would just be some genetic conversion nonsense) but honestly Ahsoka as a Qunari would be neat and if I weren't already playing Rey I would probably try that out.

-Monthly events include both serious and more light-hearted themes. Sometimes the opportunity for action/fighting.
-You can give your character an AU identity very close to their canon or wildly different, it's entirely up to you. Want to make them a pop star? A criminal? Go for it. (Matthew for example is an attorney but this time he's a prosecutor working at the district attorney's office. He's friends with the local police and lives in a nice apartment with his niece. Of course now that he's starting to remember his other life the Catholic Guilt can begin!)

If you are not aware of Recolle, it is an AU, memloss game? Where characters slowly get their memories triggered. Right now, Balthier is aware that he wasn't always above board with the law in canon, but he does not realize the extent.

- The game is set on a floating island above a ruined world, where characters' emotions have effects on the environment around them. There's a mix of slice-of-life and plot, with room for a variety of tones; what you take on is up to you!
- There are opportunities to explore the world and uncover its mysteries, as well as a task board with a variety of different quests/odd jobs that characters can take on, and of course there are events that play with characters’ emotions.
- I feel that this would be an interesting setting for any of the gems or humans, with the emphasis on emotional power, the missions to undertake and the use of crystals as a type of magi-technology!
- AC is also very simple, with ten comments (or an entry + seven comments) that can be spread across multiple links.
- Steven has been in game for over a year now, and his current canon point is post-"Mindful Education" (though I have considered updating him), and most recently Pearl has arrived from after “I am My Mom”.

[game info]: Recolle is a memloss/modern AU game in which characters are reincarnated into a modern setting and regain their memories/abilities. Has an overarching plot and a lot of lore stuff going on. Also has monthly events, ranging in relevance/seriousness.

-AC is pretty easy, on 20 comments in total across 2-4 threads.
-Fyi the game is relatively fast paced, just mentioning in case that fact is relevant in any way.
-Would totally be interested in coming up with some sort of AU stuff between Magilou + anyone so... hit me up if you're into that.
-Right now Magilou pretty much has a general idea of what each of the party members is like + some info about the Abbey being KINDA SHIT, plus she knows about Daemons/Dragons/Malevolence and all that. But she's still trying to piece things together. Also she's getting back Bienfu at the start of october so... that's a thing.

FAIRY TAIL @ GENESSIA

[wanted]: anyone from the Fairy Tail guild itself would be wonderful! Natsu, Lucy, Happy, Gray, Wendy, Carla, Gajeel, Juvia, Elfman, Lisanna, Makarov... I could go on and on.

For people outside of the Fairy Tail guild, we'd love to see Jellal, anyone from Crime Sorciere, Kagura, Millianna, or any of the Spriggan Twelve (especially August, Eileen, or Brandish). Given the people who are already in the game, any of the founding members of Fairy Tail (Hades/Precht, Warrod, Yuri Dreyar, or Zeira) could be interesting. Tartaros still has a base in this setting from when its members were there previously, so someone from there could be fun! (For the players, at least)

[game info]: Genessia is a fairly easy-going slice of life game. It's a jamjar, with the option for investigating the city and its mysteries (who sent them there, why, etc.) The city itself is divided into several zones, loosely corresponding to genres and settings of the canons (modern, sci-fi, fantasy, etc.). The game encourages player-run plots, and there are in-game elections for Guardians, people who are in charge of keeping each zone safe. More information can be found here.

The fact that a branch of the Fairy Tail and Tartaros guilds are in Genessia (built by characters who were there previously) and one of the jobs is bounty hunting (which involves a lot of odd jobs, so basically what they already do in canon) makes it really easy to adapt. At the moment, all of the Fairy Tail cast is living at the Fairy Tail guild hall, and they've managed to recruit a few new members from other worlds!

From a player's standpoint, the game is really easy to get into. Just post on the Taken list and you're good - no application necessary! As long as you post somewhat regularly, respond to the check-in every couple of months, and stay in-character for who you're playing as, you're good to go!

[game info]: After the end of your canon world via giant space storm, you are rescued and brought to El Nysa to live among a fantasy/steampunk/etc hodgepodge culture of refugees and natives who don't actually know anything about other worlds being real. The game is largely choose your own adventure, with a plot involving the ongoing conflict between the two main NPC factions about to kick off in October -- that is, by the time apps open again in November, player characters will be able to travel between the two factions and actually pick a side. Right now we're about to get more info about the other faction, and characters have been living in faction 1/Olympia until the new event.

Merlin has been running around telling everyone he's a sorcerer because no one is slapping his hand and saying no, so. Please join him.

TDM and apps are going to be in November! AC is fairly simple and there are IC rewards you can earn for activity, but if you've heard the size of those event logs gets a little out of control, it's true. Definitely a game to find a niche in rather than try to keep up with every single character's goings-on.

[wanted]: I mean, I'm not gonna lie here - anyone else at all. That's it. I don't even have a particular preference for one over another. Any Inception characters would just make me scream with glee and probably offer you some home-baked cookies.
[game info]: Mask or Menace is The One Where You Get Superpowers. There is a lot to do here - superheroing, or supervillainy, or just messing around (Arthur, for instance, is starting to build up a list of contacts for shady things, pretending to be a cybersecurity expert and is a poker dealer on the side). There's a test drive up and running right now, so drop on in and let's have some fun!

As for El Nysa, it's the One Where Their Worlds Have Been Destroyed. Characters wake up to be told something called The Storm has destroyed their world, and they've been rescued (and woken from stasis) to help stop it. There's definitely a metaplot going to get involved with, and factions you can earn reputation with to get rewards (like superpowers!), and tons of other stuff going on! Ariadne will likely be getting a PASIV device soon so she can start doing dream shenanigans. Unfortunately, apps don't open again until November, but feel free to get into contact with me if you're interested and I'll be happy to make plans with you for when things open up!

Recollé is a pan-fandom mem-loss and regain game taking place in a modern setting. On an Earth similar to the one we know, characters live out their daily lives as they believe they always have. Recolle also works on a reward system where each extra comment outside of the first proof may be turned into points. Points are used to regain items, abilities, skills, etc. It means that Persona characters can regain their powers and skills.
