September EMP Meme
FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no banners, no blinking text, no obnoxious tables, no sparklies, no pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be frozen and/or deleted. FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be screened. IN GENERAL: ➤ Don't be a dick. [wanted]: BlakeBlakeBlakeBlakeBlakeBlake. Please bring our missing cat. We currently have a Ren on reserve, but would dearly love a Sun, Neptune, Qrow, basically anybody. Even more villains, especially a Neo!
[game info]: Empatheias is a mixed adventure and SOL jamjar, set primarily on a floating island in a world where emotions can make incredible things happen. You can find more information on the setting here. Reserves are currently open and our most recent Test Drive is here.
The RWBY cast at Emp are all taken post V4 with the excpetion, of course, of Pyrrha, Penny, and Torchwick because...yeah. Everybody except Torchwick live in a big house together where they get into all kinds of shenanigans, both wacky and dramatic because they're all dumb teenagers in a world where emotions can literally run wild.

since it's such a huge cast though!! if you have a minute could you give me a quick rundown on any major emotional or relationship changes you know of ingame that have differed from canon? and whether you guys have thoughts re: canon updating and v5?

I'd be super happy to answer the best I can. If it's alright with you, I can even ping the cast to this comment so they can weigh in with their own answers because I'm pretty sure I'll forget something important. XD;
I think our biggest recent cast upheaval would be the fact that Ozpin himself just apped in last month so...naturally the cast had feelings about that. 8'D Ozpin recently laid out all his cards on the table with regards to the Maidens, Relics, and stuff like that (like today recent lol so everybody's still reacting). Basically everybody's pretty even on the IC-canon knowledge now...but some are probably taking it better than others.
Ren apped in this month, so he and Nora are pretty much a thing, and Jaune and Pyrrha are off being awkward Arkos together.
We did have a Blake in-game once before for a short period and I think she told Weiss what she'd been up to post-Fall of Beacon and their friendship was on the mend. I can't remember if Ruby got the same explanation or not but I do know that she did not however, tell Yang (Yang kinda...didn't want to hear it, whoops) and the two were sorta trying to...start over as partners? For lack of a better word, and mostly for the sake of the team. However, then Yang had a partially event-induced panic attack in front of her and unfortunately they never got a chance to work out what happened there before our Blake had to drop which Yang totally took super well, so basically right back at Square One with those two. 8'D
Also recently, Yang kissed Weiss because of event-induced giddy-ness that she's...not completely sure was completely because of the emotion wackiness going on, but the two of them have sorta both decided to NOT talk about it yet/pretend it didn't happen. TL;DR Yang is a mess, news at 11, and all these teenagers are walking disasters. Now for the weather. XDXD
That's the only major emotional/relationship stuff I can think of off-hand for the group and that'd be directly related to Blake/her team but again I'm happy to ping the cast here so they can give you additional info. :D
I do know that those of us with castmates who can, will probably canon update to V5 whenever it's old enough to be canon updated to? I forget what Emp's specific canon updating rulings are with regards to new installments of canon, but I'm pretty sure we're all planning on an eventual canon update.

Yeah, V4 would probably make the most sense since V5 just started. XD I'm not 100% sure but I think there's a 1 month wait period for new canon stuff anyway but a mod'd likely have to ring in on that.
I do know we'd all be super excited to have the Belladonna back again. ^.^
