October EMP Meme
FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no banners, no blinking text, no obnoxious tables, no sparklies, no pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. - I feel that this would be an interesting setting for any of the gems or humans, with the emphasis on emotional power, the missions to undertake and the use of crystals as a type of magi-technology!

- Steven has been in game for over a year now, and his current canon point is post-"Mindful Education" (though I have considered updating him), and most recently Pearl has arrived from after “I am My Mom”.
- The game also once had a Rose Quartz, but I do not know if she would be properly appable given the questions raised by recent canon. I would still be happy for any appable castmate(s)! Feel free to hit me up if you have any questions or need any help!

[wanted]: I personally would love to see Axel and Xion. Our Sora would love to have Riku, Kairi, and Leon. We'd also love Ventus, Aqua, and Terra, Vanitas, other Organization members, and honestly everyone and anyone is welcome.
[game info]: Empatheias is set on a floating island where emotions have effects on the world around them (for example, it rains if people are sad, etc.) It's a mix of slice of life and adventure, with lots of opportunities for CR building, as well as exploring the wider world and solving the mysteries of what happened.
For the KH cast itself, most of the cast lives together in a large house. We've had a few departures in the form of Axel and Donald Duck which has led to some sadness and arguments. Typical drama. These kids probably need an adult to help them get their stuff together.

[game info]: DF is a game set in space, based around a reality show. That aspect can be played up or down, depending on preference. The fleet visits different systems and sometimes deals with shit that goes down. Last one was a meteor hitting the planet. Characters get augments to assign them to a role on a ship, and they can have upgrades through those. The game is invite only, but players are pretty open about inviting people if someone wants in. c:
Kaname and Freyja do keep their fancy singing powers and can even work with certain aspects of the setting! [game info]: Empatheias is a relatively large game with a mostly medium pace. It mostly takes place on a floating island, but the world itself centers around emotions, where people can affect the environment through them (ie happiness can cause flowers to bloom or anger can make buildings crack). Each person is aligned with an Arehtei, who are 'gods' that represent various emotions. While the game itself is a lot of slice-of-life, there are many chances to go on adventures and take on tasks that involve fixing the broken world around them or figuring out the mystery surrounding everything.

X-MEN EVOLUTION @ RECOLLE

[game's current cast]: Just the Evolution version of Kurt Wagner. From other Marvel canons, we also have the 616 version of Bucky Barnes and the MCU Netflix version of Matthew Murdock.

[wanted]: I'd really love to have a version of Rogue and Mystique around for all of the complicated family shenanigans as they regain their AU memories (although I’m not sure if Evo!Mystique has enough to be appable). Azazel and TJ Wagner from the comics would definitely be great additions too for extra confusion. The game does allow doubles, so I’d love to have an adult version of Kurt himself from another version of X-Continuity? And I'd love to have any of the other X-Men cast around, from Evo or otherwise, such as Scott Summers, Kitty Pryde, Jean Gray, Evan Daniels, Bobby Drake, Hank McCoy, Ororo Munroe, Tabatha Smith, Toad, the list goes on!
[game info]: Recolle is a memloss/AU game in which characters are reincarnated as ordinary people living in a city called Recolle. However, a mysterious app called Retrospec connects the game's characters, who regain various memories/abilities/physical attributes from their canon lives over time. So for X-Men characters, it means getting to start off with normal human lives and having mutanthood return to their lives as slowly or suddenly as the player wants!.
In his AU, Kurt comes from a rich family, with his mother being Amelia Wagner (who is actually Almedha from the Fire Emblem series), and he's currently attending college while having formerly acted in a ridiculous supernatural mystery tv series. His regains so far have included weakened teleportation, wall-clinging and his ears and tail, though he hasn't yet realized that he's a mutant.
The game's AC now consists of 20 comments which can be presented in somewhere from 2-4 threads. Extra activity can be cashed in for bonus points that can be used to regain a characters' items, abilities and physical attributes from canon. Apps are bimonthly, though due to the decision to close apps for December, next month will be an app month instead: an AU workshop will go up on November 10th (on which a character's AU can be plotted out!), then a test drive and reserves will go up a week later on the 17th (you to reserve before the apps open to be able to app!), and then apps will be open from the 24th through the 30th! If there are any questions, or if anyone needs help plotting a character's AU, feel free to hit me up!

[game info]: Empatheias is a game where emotions are power and influence the environment and the game itself. There's always plenty to do and lots to get involved in, and I always find myself with a number of things I could get involved with. Plus, due to the emotion-influenced setting, there are plenty of opportunities for Hearts characters to apply their Somatic abilities. I've ended up with a lot of Spiria Link threads over the months I've been playing there! It's a great fit for specialized characters like them!
RWBY @ Empatheias

I think most of the canonpoint are around v4 (or best applicable for those who didn't make it that far)

[game info]: Empatheias is set on an Emotions Island that used to be floating but isn't exactly anymore, where the title 'emotions island' isn't exactly figurative, given that they not only literally manifest, it can affect what happens in game! There's a pretty good mix of both slice of life and plot and what you can get from it is as big as what you can give and it's totally up to you what route you'd like to take.
Activity check itself is rather simple, as it's either 10 comments (spread across 2+ links) or an entry and a thread with 7+ comments, so please feel free to join us! In regards to the cast, Mion's just started up an Otherworlder's Games Club in July and she's still coping with the loss of Shion as of late, although she does have Keiichi by her side. Also, everyone is currently from post-Matsuribayashi-hen, although we sure won't stop you if you want to pick another canon point.
In addition to this, all potential castmates will get the chance of getting free icons from the anime, visual novels, manga, and so much more!! For examples, just look at all of Mion's icons here.

[game info]: I know the Dragon Age universe isn't the first place you'd think to dump some Star Wars but Rey has integrated well. Lightsabers still work, blasters do not! Also alien characters would have to convert to one of the four races of Thedas (though they don't have to be AUs, it would just be some genetic conversion nonsense) but honestly Ahsoka as a Qunari would be neat and if I weren't already playing Rey I would probably try that out.

Spellbind is a world-hopping adventure game where characters receive a special power! The special ability can be whatever you want. We have a wide variety of them. I can help on tuning a power if you have any questions about that. Canon powers only work in worlds listed as 'high frequency'. Characters spend a fairly decent amount of time in each world to uncover their mysteries while hunting for the energy sources the witch that took them is after.
The game feels medium to me with the speed of taggers varying. It's possible to be slightly slower and still do just fine. Ac is self-check-in for a total of 20 tags (2-3 threads) and additional can be turned in to help the world. The mods are very responsive to questions and feedback. We have weekly updates. The player base is very open and friendly with some incredible creativity!

[game info]: Drift Fleet is a game where you're on a reality show... But it's in space! Each character is shuffled onto a ship with a crew and they drift through the world stopping on various planets and space stations. There's a monthly event, character/ship upgrades and loads of crosscanon CR! The last event, for example, was a meteor hitting a planet and the most recent event has been a horror based one!
The game is invite only, but each player gets an invite a month and I'd be happy to share mine!
FAIRY TAIL @ GENESSIA

[wanted]: anyone from the Fairy Tail guild itself would be wonderful! Natsu, Lucy, Happy, Gray, Wendy, Carla, Gajeel, Juvia, Elfman, Lisanna, Makarov... I could go on and on, but you get the point.
For people outside of the Fairy Tail guild, we'd love to see Jellal, anyone from Crime Sorciere, Kagura, Millianna, or any of the Spriggan Twelve (especially August, Eileen, or Brandish).
Given the people who are already in the game, any of the founding members of Fairy Tail (Hades/Precht, Warrod, Yuri Dreyar, or Zeira) could be interesting. Tartaros still has a base in this setting from when its members were there previously, so someone from there could be fun! (For the players, at least)
[game info]: Genessia is a fairly easy-going slice of life game. It's a jamjar, with the option for investigating the city and its mysteries (who sent them there, why, etc.) The city itself is divided into several zones, loosely corresponding to genres and settings of the canons (modern, sci-fi, fantasy, etc.). The game encourages player-run plots, and there are in-game elections for Guardians, people who are in charge of keeping each zone safe. More information can be found here.
The fact that a branch of the Fairy Tail and Tartaros guilds are in Genessia (built by characters who were there previously) and one of the jobs is bounty hunting (which involves a lot of odd jobs, so basically what they already do in canon) makes it really easy to adapt. At the moment, all of the Fairy Tail cast is living at the Fairy Tail guild hall, and they've managed to recruit a few new members from other worlds!
From a player's standpoint, the game is really easy to get into. Just post on the Taken list and you're good - no application necessary! As long as you post somewhat regularly, respond to the check-in every couple of months, and stay in-character for who you're playing as, you're good to go!

Abilities are restricted, but characters can earn them back by doing double ac for two months and asking for a goddess favour.

[game info]: Ainmhian is a sex game set in faerie that just opened. Basically, your character will be assigned a wing (Summer, Winter, Spring, Fall), a patron (Oberon, Mab, Titania, etc), and told that they've been brought to the realm for the fae's amusement. What's awesome is that the mods take the time to personalize your acceptance, pulling you into the world and the fun at the start. The player-base is super nice and accepting, as well, with a wide array of characters to interact with! No worries about tagging speed, you'll likely find a mix of daily/boomerangers to something every other day, and everyone is great about backtagging.

[game info]: Recollé is an AU memloss game where characters have been living their entire lives in a relatively normal modern setting. At least, until they suddenly receive an app on their phone that connects them to the other characters, and they become aware that things are not as they should be—for instance, two colors are almost entirely missing from the world right now, and horses have been replaced by chocobos! The plot revolves around uncovering the truth behind the mysterious changes to themselves and the world around them as they regain the memories and abilities of their past lives.
AUs can be freely integrated into other characters' with player permission, so you can get great crazy stuff like cross-canon families or best friends who were terrible enemies in their past lives! AU Ren himself is a grumpy mechanic who fled to the city of Recollé a few years ago after some Bad Decisions, and he's slowly coming to terms with his past self being terrible because it at least means he's getting back cool powers. It's a living.
Activity is 20 comments total in 2-4 threads, and it tends to be a fairly fast-paced game. That isn't to say you can't play at your own pace; I can be a little on the slower side, myself, but I haven't had any trouble making activity! Anything over activity is converted to points which can be used to purchase non-memory regains or even changes to the world itself.
While usually our apps are bimonthly, but because apps will be closed in December, there was a recent vote to open them again at the end of November! The AU workshop should go up on the 10th, with the TDM and reserves a week later on the 17th. A reserve is required to app (and those open on the 24th) so if you're interested, make sure to check it out before those close!

[game info]: Yes, the bar at the end of the universe is still kicking - it's considerably more laid-back than it was in the most hectic early days, and there's still no AC, so it's a good option for secondary game. There's the occasional goofy plot and the mingling opportunities that come from, well, being in a multidimensional nexus.
I started Yusuke off in mid-August, canon-wise, and have been slowly updating him (by 'slowly' I mean I only just got him to Hawaii); I'd love to have castmates to go through these shenanigans with.
VOLTRON @ EMPATHEIAS (S4 spoilers)

[wanted]: You may notice we are missing Lance and Pidge! And that is a crying shame, especially if we get Pidge's brother in. We'd all love a King Alfor for various reasons, and I personally would love an Ulaz because I'm disgustingly biased. Also, anyone from original Voltron or GoLion would be amazing.
[game info]: Empatheias (mostly) takes place in a charming little steampunk town located on a floating island high above a ruined world, with the game's overall aim being to restore life to said ruined world with the power of our ~emotions~ because in Emp, characters' emotions can and do have tangible effects on the environment around them. The game is roughly equal parts slice of life and adventuring with lots of opportunities for shenanigans and pain both. AC is light (10 comments or 1 entry + 7 comments per month) and the game runs at roughly a medium pace with widespread backtagging.
For the Voltron cast, hoo boy. Things have been fairly quiet and domestic the past few months, but now that Season 4's dropped, we're about to hit some fresh new drama. Shiro is currently away from the main island for an event, has been so since before Keith's birthday, will be disappearing away for his canon update while he's gone, and probably won't be returning until after intros pass through. (And of course Keith refuses to actually celebrate his birthday until Shiro's back SORRY BRO.) Keith should be poofing for his own canon update soon thereafter, and he'll be coming back thinking that he's died, so that's going to be fun. Emp also has a regain system in place, and next month Shiro will be the first in our cast to reach the threshold to regain his (miniaturized, of course) lion. So that's also going to be exciting!
The cast has been in the cast for a good long while at this point, and I was the first one in the game, so if you have any questions about the setting or our cast's living situation or our CR or whatever, I'm pretty much the gal to ask. :|b

[game info]: Agoge is a war game where characters are dropped into historical (and eventually fantasy?) battle scenarios, so it's probably best for characters with some fighting skill. The log that just went up today doubles as a TDM and is set during the French Revolution (fair warning that none of the GoT cast will be available for every prompt, because they're all three on special missions at this point in time; Jon can be available for at least a few of the prompts, though). Apps open in a couple of days. I would love to see Jon reunite with his favorite sis and see how fantastically/unsettlingly stabby she's become!
