February EMP Meme
FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be screened and/or deleted. FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be screened. IN GENERAL: ➤ Don't be a dick. A forest, dark and towering. A town, drained of color and abandoned by those who came before, for reasons the newly-arrived have yet to learn.
But they will learn, if they have the determination, the fortitude, and the willingness to cooperate with those around them and tackle the mysteries the environment holds. Because the way home? Well.

Awash is a character driven panfandom game that welcomes canon and original characters and strongly encourages interaction and participation as effective methods to gradually restore color to a lifeless town. Every last bit of color depends on the characters themselves. In order to help accomplish this, there will be monthly events that combine whimsical elements with more than a hint of spine-tingling chills, drawing on folklore and fairy tale alike. Characters who wish to have any hope of returning home will first need to work together and strive to bring color to a town that needs them more than ever.

PHANTASMAL RIFT - Dungeon exploration + power development
You know that place between universes where all your lost socks wind up? Well, sometimes the lost socks are people.
Phantasmal Rift is a new, low AC game with a focus on dungeon adventures and character ability growth. AC is only five comments a month (and handled by AC Savior, to boot!), but additional activity earns you points that can be used to buy items or further abilities for your character's development. The game also includes a network feature.
Characters arrive in the game via Fissures, which are also the game's dungeon mechanic. Fissures are unstable rifts in reality, which create unnatural, shifting magical environments that need to be stabilized in order for the android researchers at Keystone Station to work on finding a way to fix them permanently. In the meantime, characters are offered housing at the station as refugees and potential partners in fixing the reality they call home.
Phantasmal Rift is open to characters of all stripes, including OCs, AUs, and CRAUs. There is virtually no power nerfing, and characters are encouraged to develop new powers by learning from each other as well as pursuing their own ideas. Application cycles are irregular and based upon in-game events - please check the Game Calendar (up to date through the end of March) for more information.
Events are handled primarily through dungeon expeditions, and vary between light-hearted and serious. The overall tone of the game is more light than dark, and the genre is loosely adventure. There will be an ongoing metaplot, but it is not the primary influence on the game. The game's schedule is still experimental and may be adjusted in the future based on player feedback!
Reserves and the next TDM go up March 1, and Applications open on March 9th! Additionally, we are looking for potential active game mods to assist with apps, player requests, dungeons, and plot!

Atonement | New horror-based game set hell adjacent!
The sign hanging above the gates simply says "Welcome to Penance: Home Between Homes" and nothing more.
Within the gates, there are the leftovers of what may have once been a lively, welcoming little town, if it didn't look as if people either fled or somehow vanished in the blink of an eye. There are dusty shops that are still stocked with supplies, many with their doors busted out or left open. There are homes that haven't been touched in what feels like an eternity but they still have furniture and the remnants of the people who lived there previously. Cars and bikes are littering the streets that are in varying shapes of usability. The more you look, the more unsettling everything becomes.
At some point while wandering this creepy ghost town, all new visitors are greeted by the same small group. It's a curious mix of cherub faces and demonic sneers dressed up in smart suits. Professionals. They tell you that you were very bad in your past life, but not to worry, they are here with an offer that you really shouldn't refuse.
Stay in Penance and agree to undergo punishments for your sins, cleanse yourself of all that heavy baggage, or follow your less pleasant greeters down to the pits of Hell to suffer for an eternity...
