FOR GAME ADS:

➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed.

➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad.

FOR GAME QUESTIONS:

➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme.

➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be screened and/or deleted.

FOR CHARACTER ADS:

➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join.

➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above.

➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be screened.

[game info]: DF is a game set in space, based around a reality show. That aspect can be played up or down, depending on preference. The fleet visits different systems and sometimes deals with shit that goes down. Characters get augments to assign them to a role on a ship, and they can have upgrades through those. The game is invite only, but players are pretty open about inviting people if someone wants in. c:

Kaname and Freyja do keep their fancy singing powers and can even work with certain aspects of the setting! There's a test drive meme up, and we'd love to thread with players even if it's just to voice test. Please hit us up! We can also help with icons, resources like songs, journal idea, paid time... [game info]: Come run away with a carnival wrapped up in secrets and long forgotten ties to the Ringmaster's ancient past with an arsenal of Faerie Courts and feud wars. Join the carnival, reinvent your character, save them from a wicked past, or even run away to simply take time off from rotten home affairs without having to worry about time passing.

Much has changed over the course of the year with the carnival now on the run from the Faerie Courts. While not a horror game or even an intense serious game there are some metaplots that will arise here and there to spice things up along with lighthearted visits with little to no stakes at hand.

A lot of what makes this game worth playing in is that the fate of the carnival is often left up to the players hands with the choices they make through IC interactions and investigations, sometimes with hilarious dice rolls or consequences for any and all actions, influencing the flow of the game and its future. One small mistake/choice can lead to a bigger consequence. There is a mandatory transformation at points but you can go easy with that if you want.

It's really a game you need to dive into to see for yourself. You'll be surprised what you find.

Empatheias is a game where emotions influence the environment and shape the world around you. There's some SOL, but it's mostly a plot driven game with space to run player plots. There's a lot of world building, with characters able to explore more of the world outside of the starting city. For the most part, the core of this game is the playerbase decides where they want the world to go. Pacing-wise, from my experience it sits around mid-pace, with it picking up during events. You have two options to complete AC; 1 Entry and 7 comments from elsewhere, or 10 comments added up from two threads minimum. You only need to meet half AC the first month you app in!

Currently Reserves are open and applications will open between March 1st-4th and this is our current Test Drive!

[game info]: Game is set in a place where the characters arrive and are expected to revive the world by experiencing emotions, and many of the things that happen revolve on forcing the characters to experience different emotions whether they like it or not. The game has slice-of-life, a monthly list of missions that run the gamut from silly to action to serious.

[wanted]: I srfg I will literally do anything for a Davenport at this point. I have icons. I will give you paid time. I swear, literally anything. Do not even try me. Our Lydia is also willing to do the same for an Edward so the Wonderland Twins can really terrorize the place, and I'm sure our Carey would also appreciate a Killian! I would also personally looove to see more one arc NPCs (Hurley, Roswell, ect). But honestly, please, someone bring Davenport, we're so close to a full 7 bird set and I'd die on the ground.
[game info]: A horror/jamjaresque game where characters are stuck in a city controlled by a pantheon of emotion-based gods. Arc 2 just ended and we're finally out of the hellcave, and characters are finally starting to get out exploring other cities! The NPCs are engaging, there's so much room to interact with the metaplot, and it's just wicked fun. AC is 20 comments a month with log comments counting double!

Our current test drive is over here! And totally comment if you're gonna TDM, I'll be happy to send our the call to the rest of the cast :>

Empatheias is set on a floating island above a ruined wasteland of a world, where their emotions can have effects on the environment around them, both good and bad! As far as the setting goes, it's a mix of both plot and slice of life, with plenty of opportunities for both. Events are monthly, and can range from large-scale excursions where plot unfolds, to festivals where the characters get to unwind and reflect, and anything in between. In between, there's plenty of room for characters to tackle task-like jobs to earn rewards and money and even for player plots to go down, both personal and game-wide. All in all, it's a game where you have a lot of freedom to do what you want within the setting to use it to develop your character in the way you want.

It's a medium-large game, but moves at a medium-slow pace. AC is monthly, consisting of either an entry and at least one (separate) thread with seven comments from you, or two threads with a total of ten comments. We have monthly CR plotting memes to allow you the most out of your Empatheias experience. Come join us today! ♥

[wanted]: any family members of the current cast would be greatly appreciated. Krillin would be fantastic, given his interactions with Goku and the Androids (especially in Super), and Vegeta and Trunks (any version) would also be appreciated! I'd love to see Chi-Chi, Gohan, (especially now that Cell's in the game) or Goten, and any of the Universe 6 Saiyans or Hit would make things interesting.

Any of the main cast that I haven't mentioned would be great, of course, and villains could be fun. With Cell joining the game recently, and the twins already there, Android 16, Dr. Gero, or even Android 21 could be fun! As far as long-shots go, I've always wanted to play Goku off of Roshi (I really like their dynamic, and Super helped to build that up), and any of Goku's Saiyan family would be great, since that side of things doesn't really get explored outside of video games.
[game info]: Genessia is a slice of life game set in five different cities which are connected by portals. Nobody knows why they've been brought there, though characters have the option of trying to figure that out. Otherwise, there are mod plots and player plots that happen regularly. As a whole, the game is quite easy-going, with a lot of room for creativity. More information about it can be found here.

Applications and Activity Check are both insanely easy. For applications, you post your character's name to the taken list, and you're good to go. Activity Check happens once every few months, and you just post that you're still interested in playing as that character. As long as you've posted regularly and are staying in character, that's all you need to worry about.

[game info]: Hadriel is a jamjar horror game where the characters are trapped in a city ruled by gods powered by emotion. The game takes place in several Arcs and we finished Arc 2 not long ago. The characters are beginning to explore new cities and are currently trying to restore power to the god Hope to power the city after being attacked by the Null. AC is 20 comments but logs are worth double that! Tons of fun with friendly playerbase! Also backtag-friendly!

Test drive is here. Apps open 1st March. Reserves here and are currently open! Note: Apps close either on 7th of every month or when the mods receive 20 apps (it's pretty unusual to receive that many though).

[game info]: Empatheias is set in a world where emotions can have effects on the world around you. There's a good deal to do SOL wise with monthly task boards devoted to jobs that can be done for money or gifts. There is also a good deal of plot dealing with Verens, the city where characters begin, and exploring the rest of the world around them. Along the way players are attempting to revive the world and keep balance with the Arehtei.

Seriously though, DF is about whatever you want it to be! SOL? Exploration? Drama? Wacky shenanigans? Choose your own adventure! Characters are now part of a fleet of starships that fly together through the galaxy while their lives are recorded for a reality show. New systems are visited regularly, allowing exploration and activities/quests on planets, which sometimes come with mission rewards (like canon regains). If you prefer the funny side of things, sponsor drops and augments malfunctions can give your character crack effects to deal with like the old ljrp game style. Augments can also be upgraded to get your character some cool powers - they have a price though. Better start improving your ratings, bro.

The game is small and very relaxed, slow paced and medium during events. AC is super easy. Full navigation on the profile! DF requires an invitation to app but we can get you one! Apps are always open. (Note on S5: two months must pass to app from (or update to) that canon point.)

[game info]: Mask or Menace is a pretty straightforward premise: characters are given superpowers, dumped in a jamjar. The game itself is a mix of slice-of-life and Cold War-esque metaplot, with room for characters to choose just how involved they'll get in any one aspect. I find it fun for TWD characters because it serves as a sort of respite from the misery and deprivation of their canon; when you aren't half-starving, there's a little more time to process what happened to you when you were.
