ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the last Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be screened and/or deleted. FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Offering: A longshot, but hello!! Currently looking for a game that will be able to house Sora, Riku and Kairi from the Kingdom Hearts series! Ideally would like a game that the players can bring these three in together.

Seeking/Preferences:

-Something on the slower/medium side. Ideally something where the players won’t fall behind if they don’t tag every single day.
-Something with a plot would be great! Some slice of life elements are okay, but we’d like something that the characters can dig themselves into and keep busy.
-Not really interested in sci-fi but willing to look! All other genres are applicable except for AU/memory-loss.
-Backtag friendly please!
-DW only please!
-We’d like to keep powers for the characters, but willing to look at games where new powers or abilities are given.

We’re also interested in anything new that may be opening in the near future. Thanks!

Hey! I don't have any canonmates to offer you but I think you guys would be a perfect addition to lifeaftr!

Lifeaftr is a survival game located on a far-off archipelago, helped along by a god who runs on stories. From in-game votes, characters are allowed to travel to other islands, discover the mystery of the world itself, it's broken-off islands, and how they happened to come here. It's absolutely got a Destiny Islands type feel, and there's an overarching metaplot between good and evil that I bet these kids would get really into. The tagging speed is def slow and runs to medium during events, but everyone backtags like crazy so you'd be good to go. The only thing is it's not a full power nerf, but there is a reduction of most powers- they'd likely be able to keep their keyblades but might have a limit on summoning them, ect. If you're curious, ask the mods! Personally, I would love to see them around even if I don't play anyone in your cast. I played Namine for YEARS so KH is deeply close to my heart, haha.

Thank you so much for the rec! I shared the pitch off to the other two in-question and it definitely seems like a thing we'll be checking out! The overall tone and speed sounds like something we can all agree in as well and the idea of traveling around and not being in a stagnant setting sounds really fun. I'd recommend melodiesofeternity, since I think it checks most, if not all of the boxes you're looking for. It's a good group of people, pretty casual about tags, backtagging-friendly, no memory-loss, and there is an overarching metaplot about a reality-destroying calamity and Bahamut attacking in April.

The only glitch is that you'd have to start with some of the in-game Jobs for your characters (based mostly on FF Jobs), BUT the ability to create Custom Jobs is a thing, so you could get their powers back that way, it would just take a bit longer. Other than that, I think it could be exactly what you're looking for. The next application period starts near the end of January!

Don't know how you guys would feel about horror, but there is deerington!

It's a game set in 1950's Maine and it's a dream reality. There's different types of horror that you can make as extreme or as mild as you want (so to your comfort level), with monthly events and an overarching plot that characters are free to explore. Basically, if you want to see what your characters breaking point is, this is a good game for that. Right now, the only KH character in the game is Roxas (post-Dream Drop). It can be as much plot related or as SoL as you want to be, and the only thing about powers is that there is some warping since it is a dream, but points earned through tagging can earn full restore of those powers eventually.

I've heard of Deerington but I've never been really clear about what it's about, so thanks for the short summary! It sounds like it could be a really interesting test (and a Roxas is very appealing for me especially and also since I tend to play Sora post-DDD), so I'll run it by the Riku and Kairi players and we'll check it out. Oh man all three of you! I just got Aqua here in to sixthiteration. It's a medium/slow game (there are a lot of us who don't tag every day, so no worries there!) based on survival. Your characters are brought to an island by unknown beings called "Observers" and are expected to learn to get along with the other villagers and survive. There are events, so it's not always slice of life. They'd probably like the overarching "Who are the Observers and what's their game" mystery that a lot of characters are involved in. The setting itself is very expansive. The island is huge and characters are encouraged to explore and interact with it. There are full bestiary and flora pages to look at and interact with. (One of my characters has adopted like seven native animals.) Some of the animals and plants have special effects you can be exposed to on contact. So there are research elements related to the Observers and the events, but also cataloging the environment itself.

Unfortunately, is is a power-loss game, but if you list out all of your abilities, the mods may stick some of them on a list so anyone can later select one and temporarily use them. They also will be assigned a color based on personality traits and it comes with its own set of powers. We use a points based system OOCly. So you earn points based on your threads or what you do ICly and you can buy things like gifts for your characters or powers.

Hello! Thank you for the rec! I've heard of 6I before but I've never really looked into it, so thanks a bunch for the rundown and explanation of what the game's about. It absolutely sounds like something we would take a look at and review and a setting the kids could dig themselves into. I think we all like the idea of survival-based a lot. The only thing we might be leery of is the points system, I would have to check with the others. But powers based off of color-personalities is a really cool way of doing abilities that sounds interesting.

I'll flag this to the Riku and Kairi players and see what they think. I know we'd all love to play off of an Aqua, too, so that's an extra appeal :) Thank you so much!

Understandable! And honestly if you don't want to have anything to do with the points system, you don't really have to. There are people like me who forget that gift boxes are a thing for months at a time XD

Here is the points page, if you want to give it a look over, and this will give you an idea of the in-game initiatives and such the characters have ICly started. But feel free to look around or check out the test drive meme. It has at least one setting/animal/powers option to give you an idea.
