FOR GAME ADS:

➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed.

➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad.

FOR GAME QUESTIONS:

➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme.

➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be screened and/or deleted.

FOR CHARACTER ADS:

➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join.

➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above.

➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be screened.

IN GENERAL:

➤ Don't be a dick. This isn't one of the anoncomms, so any snide comments or unnecessary commentary on the RP plans of others will be screened.

Oh man I'd die to play in a P5 AU, and I really like both of your characters. I've been considering a Makoto journal but haven't tried her out before. I also have a lot of cross-canon options that could be fun. Top of my head would be Chie here, Orihime Inoue from Bleach, Kimberly from the original Power Rangers, Rei or Minako from Sailor Moon, or Akane from Ranma. Bring on the slow burns!

Oh gosh! ♥ I'd be totally down to play with you. I'm most interested in Makoto, Chie, Rei, and Minako (AUing the Sailor Scouts into the Persona world would be awesome imo), but I don't mind any of them, as long as you don't mind me being canon-blind. Or extremely canon-rusty in the case of Power Rangers, since I haven't seen it since I was but a wee lass.

I don't think being canon blind will be much of an issue for an AU, so don't even worry about it! I'll narrow it down to Chie or Rei since they've got the most icons (Minako has 15 and Makoto doesn't have a journal, womp womp). Rei would be more aggressive in pursuing someone she likes, but starting off on the wrong foot could be fun too. Chie is more clueless, but also more gung ho about getting involved and helping people so she'd be friendly right off the bat.

What kind of dynamic are you most interested in? I think the possible pairings here have a pretty good range. Like, I could see Rei/Akechi clashing a lot, but Akira/Chie would get along swell, with the other two somewhere in between depending on the situation. Personally, I enjoy some friction between characters!

Good question, hrm. Want to try out each pairing in a meme and see which one clicks best? If they're both great, I don't mind playing out more than one ship at the same time.

We can each do a top level and a starter, long as you don't mind me making stuff up on the fly! If we decide we like a pairing, then we can start plotting out more concrete backstory and details for a possible PSL.

Just off the top of my head, I think the camping meme would be cute for Akira and Chie! A school trip deal a la Persona 4, perhaps? Super proficient Akira helping set up tents, Chie somehow managing to ruin even campfire food, ghost stories?! So many good possibilities.

As for Akechi and Rei, how about the childhood sweethearts meme? Either scenario would be fine. They could've been childhood friends who lost contact after his mom died and he was shuffled around between foster families, or we could do it as him having a mild thing for her when he was a kid, her blowing him off, and now he's all Detective Prince-y. Or vice versa!

If there's anything you've got in mind though, hit me! Just coming up with some possible jumping-off points. :D And I'm totally fine with you making stuff up, assuming things, etc. I'm generally the type to just roll with that kind of stuff, and in the event that I don't like something, I'll message you to discuss it instead of poofing.

I'm cracking up at Chie ruining camp food, so yes, sold! And I love those ideas for Akechi and Rei, since her mom died when she was young too. And they both have asshole politician fathers! I'm pumped.

Did you have anything specific in mind wrt Akira/Akechi?

Nothing super specific at the moment, mostly loose ideas! There are the obvious post-canon "Akechi survives" scenarios, but I also enjoy ones that take canon and put a twist on it! If we're talking AU, for these two, I'd lean more towards something that still has some kind of stakes over plain slice-of-life.

I can probably ramble out some more in-depth ideas tomorrow if you'd like, but I'm also down to just throw stuff back and forth until something sounds good!

I'd love to hear about the post-canon scenarios you'd be interested in exploring if you still don't mind sharing!

So! There's the flavor where Akechi survives, but Akira has no idea. They could reconnect by chance, by someone else finding out and letting Akira know, or some other way? I wouldn't mind this being set soon after canon or even years after it. The latter would be pretty interesting actually, like seeing how they work through everything so long after.

Ooor it could be a case where instead of letting Akechi sacrifice himself, the Thieves help him fight, or maybe he doesn't actually die and they manage to drag him out and get him medical attention. He could be out of commission for the rest of the game's events or help them fight. This is a bit more canon-divergent than just post-canon, but I'd be down to start from the aftermath of either scenario.

There are other possibilities, but these are just the ones off the top of my head. If you have any ideas, shoot 'em my way!
