FOR GAME ADS:

➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed.

➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad.

FOR GAME QUESTIONS:

➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme.

➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be screened and/or deleted.

FOR CHARACTER ADS:

➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join.

➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above.

➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be screened.

➤ Don't be a dick. This isn't one of the anoncomms, so any snide comments or unnecessary commentary on the RP plans of others will be screened.

Seeking:
• Castmates/Cross Canon CR: I would kill for a South to play off my North, other RvB peeps and Spartans would be amazeballs. But I’m down for cross-canon shenanigans too especially in regards to RvB/Halo. I have other muses from both canons and would be down for finding ways of coming up with fun cross-canon cr.
• Ships/Platonic/Familial: I’m open to a multitude of ships for North or Wash. For familial CR as mentioned above, a South to play off of or some other Spartans for Spartan family feels would be amazing as would fellow Hargreeves peeps. I would love to find some Avengers types to play off of Pietro and obvious a Wanda would be lovely as would any of his extended family. For Jack, I’d love a Reaper or an Ana but honestly, any OW people would be lovely to have.
• AU’s/Fix-Its/What-If: Half the fun of RP is coming up with fun new ways of spinning canon right? Your obligatory North doesn’t die AU is right up my alley as would something for poor Ben who deserves better than he gets in canon. I also love coming up with various AU’s so hit me up and we can plot up something fun to do together.
• Anything else: I work full time and live in CST. Depending on how crazy my work week is going, I try and keep on top of my tags but sometimes I can be a little slower than I would like. Diego and Ben are brand spanking new and need some voice testing so please bear with me when it comes to them as I try and whip their voices into shape.

For Peni, could I suggest

deerington? It's a horror game set in an old-fashioned dream town, with a lot of mysteries surrounding it. It's not super grimdark, but I feel it still makes for good horror. Most of the events allow some form of opt-out, though there have been a few that affect the whole game. It's medium-paced, and I've found getting Cr fairly easy despite playing a fandom OC. Base AC is 30 points, but it's pretty easy to get, since every log comment from your character counts as 3 points. There's no mandatory HMD, but there is a TDM up the first of each month! With regards to canonmates, we have a Spiderverse Miles and Peter B already, as well.

Hello! Personally I don't find the low-tech setting to be that conflicting; Wash and other past RvBs get a sigil that lets their power armor keep working, even if the more OP mods and such would be nerfed. As far as positive/negative CR goes, I have no real preference. Positive CR is easiest to work with in the short term, since negative CR almost always has that "how do I justify OOCly not killing/making this character's life hell Constantly" hurdle that's hard to clear, but I'm flexible and don't mind talking things out.

As far as the game's specifics...well, I'm someone who likes challenging my characters and pushing them out of their comfort zones. In RvB, there's a lot of "shoot the problem until it stops being a problem" which understandably works a lot of the time! Even where diplomatic solutions exist, there's usually a combat-based solution somewhere in the mix. That doesn't really fly so well here, where ammo is limited and these spacefaring military dudes have to get used to working with a diverse range of characters - children, aliens, magicians, etc. It'd be almost too easy for me to put Wash in some kind of futuristic or space-set setting. That wouldn't challenge him nearly enough for my liking. LifeAftr has forced him to not be the soldier he is in a lot of ways; he can't just establish a military base here and whip a bunch of soldiers into shape the way he did on Chorus, because there aren't any supplies to manage that sort of thing, and there are so few people here who know how to shoot a weapon, let alone run combat drills.

It's a challenge that works for me, though I'd understand if it doesn't work for everyone! That's just part of the appeal of the setting for me.

i absolutely loooove mirage and karma and would love to do anything with them, tho atm im really only up to playing 616 peter and to my knowledge these guys are only vaguely aware of each other at best. id love to change that if you would though!

i feel like this is a weird crossover idea at first, except wacky space shit happens to peter all the time, so how do you feel about some au where peters a scientist and on talos for some reason? the kid's hella smart and a legitimate scientific genius with or without superpowers, and this is exactly the kind of mess he'd get into on talos.

id definitely love a slow burn friendship, and if writing it evolves into more but really its all good to me.

So, um... she's still very much needing a whole lot of voicetesting, but I have Mareth here. I also am on the hunt for a good Amberle username, so that would be a possibility in the future if I can come up with one. (I also have a young Pyria because her history with Allanon is fucking fascinating and I thought it would be fun to play around with.)

On a non-Shannara front, I have a Jesse Quick that I have been dusting off a little as of late so I would be here for DCTV shenanigans as well.

Definitely okay with me! The potential Gladio would more than likely be from an earlier canonpoint as well. I double-checked the recent announcements and it looks like dates are set to the following: a new TDM will go up March 24th, reserves open on April 3rd and apps open April 6th.

he's one of those characters who i keep trying to put aside but then he turns up again like you can't get rid of me tf.

i have to admit i know very little about spiderman outside of general knowledge and my marvel knowledge is...very surface level, but i'm totally down to maybe plot some stuff out and see what we can figure out? i love talos more than i love a lot of things and i'd love to explore the before and the after and the slow breakdown from who morgan was before the memory wipes start (aka an asshole) to who he is by the time the breach happens...and then the ending itself is just..............a whole other ballgame. mostly i just hangout with morgan morgan because it's easier for everyone involved.

my only real question is how old you like to write peter at? or what you're thinking for this? i have no idea how old he is in any runs and i ask mostly just because lately there's a lot of teen/college aged peters running around and morgan's enough of a disaster on his own without adding youth to the mix.

Admittedly I've only recently joined, but from the impression I've gotten of the pace, there's some people who are faster and can boomerang, but others prefer to tag every two or every few days, so there's a range that I'd say averages to medium from what I've experienced so far. And ty, I only got into the franchise relatively recently but I've been greatly enjoying both the characters I picked up from it! Also it's nice being able to find occasional castmates since I usually pick bad canons for that...

God I'd love to play a fix-it thing with Kunsel. Maybe fix-it plus slice of life as they deal with post CC stuff? h/c is excellent too. Basically I enjoy most of what you've got listed. haha.

omg i LOVE sapphire, though admittedly i'm only familiar with the 90's version of him... is there anything in particular (storyline-wise) you'd like to play out with him? i have a few people i can toss at him, depending on what you're looking for. c:

I like both het and slash ships for North. I guess my favs would be North/York, North/Texas, North/Wash or some variation of the three. North/York/Carolina is a personal fav. I don't ship North/South but otherwise I'm pretty open-minded about shipping him with people. For Wash, my OTP is Wash/Sleep. XD But aside from that I guess Wash/Maine, Wash/Locus. I'm okay with Wash/Tucker and even Wash/Carolina. I think the only no-go for him is Wash/Caboose just cause it's Caboose. Wash is a little harder to ship than North, especially if we're talking post PFL cause he's just a hot mess of a person.

hey, he's a good character to come back to; he's one of those moldable protagonists who still has a clearly defined personality no matter what? which i think are some of the most fun to run into in rp.

don't worry about comics knowledge; they're long and silly and sometimes barely make sense. i read comics so other people don't have to. and because i have a problem, apparently.

All of that sounds amazing, and i'm totally fine with you playing up whatever sides of morgan you want to play! i can deal with full asshole morgan and tbh so can peter, he has a high threshhold for other people being shitty, especially if he thinks theyre ~~good deep down~. peter is a bleeding heart juuust a little.

and no worries, i totally understand that reticence. for some reason, every adaptation of peter makes him younger and younger, even though he graduated high school in issue 28 which came out in 1965. he hasnt been a little kid in decades in the comics. comic book peter, the one i play, is the oldest version, somewhere in his early-mid thirties. he's had various grownup jobs, like teaching a high school, starting a tech company, and being the senior science writer for a widely distributed newspaper, and at no point was anyone like 'you're kind of young for that??'. however his dream was always to be a full time scientist at a lab doing experimental work to help people. he couldnt because he dropped out of his phd program due to ~spider drama~ obviously in any talos adjacent au, he didn't.

There are too many possibilities and too many things I ship to make a list of even faves. It's easier to ask what specifically you'd be looking for.

I can easily do anime version since it's what I sort of lean towards for him because nostalgia and reformed villain. As for storyline, I'm really up for anything but especially being able to flesh his character out more. Maybe as either living the reformed villain life and if he survived rather than end up killed. Au's also work. I'm pretty fine with tossing whoever you'd like at him.

I have a plethora of characters and the titles above are just some I'm interested in playing around with. As such, I invite you to take a look here. (And one day I'll remake it, so it looks far more clean. Apologies for its current state.)

I'm not really looking for any specific castmates for most of these, though some I have some particular stories or AUs I might like to further explore.

I like cross-canon and cross-series a lot, so castmates are absolutely not required. When it does come to castmates, I really like exploring alternate timelines, or how a story could have been different if a different decision had been made by characters. I also like exploring storylines that are implied in original canon, but may not have been shown or really delved into much.

uhhh what i mean is, peter defs loves the x-dudes when theyre not being jerks but thats..... everybody. hes definitely big on mutant rights and tries to step up for them when possible. some of his best friends are mutants!

I have a Brother Nier here and I've been interested in playing out an AU or timeline where he and Father Nier are related (as they canonically imply that Father Nier is his dad and had passed away early into his life) for awhile now.
