FOR GAME ADS:

➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed.

➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad.

FOR GAME QUESTIONS:

➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme.

➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be screened and/or deleted.

FOR CHARACTER ADS:

➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join.

➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above.

➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be screened.

IN GENERAL:

➤ Don't be a dick. This isn't one of the anoncomms, so any snide comments or unnecessary commentary on the RP plans of others will be screened.

i would honestly be more than okay with doing more stuff with vanitas if you're up for it! we could even do some ridiculous aus too. there's a list i saw somewhere that has a TON on it, but if there's anything you like, lmk c:

Definitely up for it, this little shit is too much fun to write. I haven't actually had time to sit and think through KH AUs though since I've only dived back into the fandom since 3 came out after a few years away from it, but I'm always open to ideas anywhere from random to other canon inserts. (My only AU idea lately was a glorious disaster of a Homestuck AU crossover that somehow made Vanitas *more* dangerous, but that's another matter entirely.)

In particular for PSL setting wise though, I think situations like road trips or random tag-along adventure kinds are always good excuses for two people to be stuck together for various shenanigans. Random example that comes to mind would be the world from FFXV with it's camping and monster hunting theme. Also Sora and Vanitas seem more like the types to wander somewhere than to stay in one place anyway.

Also before I forget I should toss out the fact that Vanitas' affection levels can go anywhere from cute but demanding feral cat to straight up yandere, so just let me know wherever on that scale you'd be interested in looking into, or if the far end of that might be a bit too much for Sora to handle.

i'm very familiar with ffxv, so i think i know where you're coming from as far as that goes. i mean, there are also A LOT of potential places we could use and explore in their own setting if you just wanted to stay in the kh universe and have them getting into some shenanigans that way. or we could just au them somewhere where they bounce around and get into trouble that way ( because i definitely agree with you re: them not staying too long in one place )!

but as far as that last thing goes, i'm open to whatever. so you can just go with whatever feels right!

Awesome. It's always good to have a free pass with Vanitas, but I know crazy isn't everyone's cup of tea so I like to double check on that.

For having their canon selves in any other canon setting, there's the idea Sora assuming Vanitas would be able to fly the gummi ship just fine, turned out it was a horrible idea and they got stuck crash landing in an unknown world. Add in some kind of charm that holds Donald's magic to make them blend in wherever they're stuck, and that works as a canon/AU blend for wherever they end up.

Full on AU wise, I'm open to any ideas from Vanitas just being a regular asshole to full on accidental summoned demon or anything in between.

I also aplogize if I only make half sense lmao it's been a long day and I'm a little out of it.

BUT oh man i really love that first idea you had--them crashing and whatnot. especially since it could lend to exploring other worlds without too much complication. although... vanitas as a summoned demon sounds ridiculously fun too. maybe we could do one and then work on the other at some point in the future if you're game! because i'm super interested in all of it tbh.

We can definitely start with Vanitas not knowing how to drive the gummi ship (this shit is why he uses dark corridors) and then figure out more for the demon idea along the way.

Do you prefer discord, plurk or PMs for plotting? I'm usually around in the afternoons and evenings since I work mornings, but usually can find room to tag at least once or twice a day for longer tags, more frequently or boomarang for shorter ones whenever I've got time.
