ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the Second Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / kink you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no fonts and other html that make ads super long, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content). FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canon in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. This section is only for game crosscanon as in the psl section people can list their preferences. ➤ Examples of crosscanon you can search for: You play The Flash from DC Comics and your dream CR is fellow speedster Quicksilver from Marvel. Or you might play a witch and want cr with other witches in general. Or maybe you play a good character messed up by evil parents and want to play against a villain character you know has evil parents, because you know it'd lead to some interesting negative CR. ➤ There is a "Pairings You Want to Play" section, where you can ask for castmates or crosscanon you'd like to ship with. Please format this with "[YOUR CANON] seeking [CASTMATE/OTHER CANON (if crosscanon)/SEE DESCRIPTION (if a general character type)]. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Pairings You Want to Play" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. Alongside castmates and crosscanon, you can choose to ask for OCs or general character types as well. Try not to get too wordy and please don't outline entire scenarios. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be frozen or screened. Keep in mind this needs to be more specific than "this game has easy AC like you're asking for but meets none of your other requirements." You should be thinking about the story reasons of how the character might click with the game. IN GENERAL: ➤ Don't be a dick. This isn't one of the anoncomms, so any snide comments or unnecessary commentary on the RP plans of others will be frozen or screened. ➤ All mod responses regardless of whether they're rule breaks, correction requests (like someone posting in the wrong section), or thwapping someone for spamming copy-paste ads, have always been and will almost universally be public. If someone sends a PM and the conversation gets combative, this will also be made public and posted to the comments of the mod contact page. This is for the sake of transparency so people can judge the emp mod's communications for fairness themselves. ✦ The Trailblazer (either gender, but I admit I have a bias for Stelle), Phainon, any of the other Chrysos Heirs... I also think the Ratio is a Zandar fragment theory is neat and would love to write against a Ratio with that as the premise! And, of course, Herta and Screwllum because their interactions were great.

✦ Gen threads are great but not gonna lie, I love to mash barbies. That said, any ship with Lygus is practically guaranteed to be a toxic mess and potentially just a one-sided and highly disturbing infatuation on Lygus's end. I'm not afraid to go full dead dove so if you're itching to write nasty fucked up stuff, I am here to make it happen. 👍

FOR ANAXA —
✦ Open to basically any castmate, even if they haven't interacted in canon at all. So if you're like "I play Sampo and want him to peddle his latest scam to Anaxa" or something, I'm absolutely down to clown! But as far as specific characters go, I'm especially interested in threading with any of the Chrysos Heirs, Lygus, Herta, Screwllum, Cerces and Dan Heng. DH's new form makes him look like the dromas equivalent of an umamusume and Anaxa would love it.

Favorite ships: Phainon (any flavor, including the Flame Reaver), Aglaea, Mydei, Dan Heng, Lygus.

✦ Some meme scenarios I like: Insomnia, rain (and other weather-related scenarios), body heat, stargazing, soulmates, nursed back to health, affectionate physical contact, intimate bathing, random scenario, hanahaki, omegaverse. I also have a short wishlist with more specific ideas.

✦ Lygus lives AUs, obviously. He still disowns Zandar and then decides to live the rest of his inorganic life as Lycurgus instead of being defined as the paranoia of a dead man. I think this would work best against Herta or Screwllum, but I'm open to other characters! Maybe the Trailblazer makes some questionable decisions by taking him aboard the AE and he chills in their room and yaps about the cave when they're trying to relax in the bath.

✦ Lygus lives... but he's still just a head and eventually ends up dumped in nature somewhere and he's trapped in an inescapable hell. Phainon, now a real person from the materialized Amphoreus, chances upon him during his galactic travels many years later. They have a final conversation before Phainon puts him down for good. I think he would be satisfied to go out like that tbh.

✦ For Anaxa, generally addressing the trauma they all went through??? Phainon acted like his 3.0 self in the ending but surely he has has moments where it just hits him full force and he's on the verge of a breakdown. Maybe some hurt/comfort where Anaxa helps him through it? Or Anaxa working through having gained 33 million lifetimes of memories.

✦ I saw this Oroborosnaxa fan art and now I want to write monsterfucking based on it. I think it's funny that he took an online "Which Aeon are you?" quiz and got the Voracity instead of Erudition, lmao.

We've also had other Atlus titles in-game before that everyone has quickly adopted. If it isn't apparent from the semi-obscure characters we've got, we will excitedly love anyone who comes our way.

Pixie Led is a panfandom semi-private mission-based dark fantasy and folk horror roleplaying game with an emphasis on the more unsettling side of mythology and legend. Characters are led astray by the Fae and whisked away to their realm where they get adopted by one of the Faery Courts. Each one has a played court leader NPC and special abilities for characters to make deals to obtain. It's check-in AC and no power nerf, so there's lots of stuff to do, with optional fae body changes and opportunities for new abilities.

This might be a long shot... I'm starting to get the itch to put her into a setting again. Game options are limited since she's a very young child character (no specified canon age but I do put her around being the same age as NieR Replicant Act 1 Yonah), but I want to put some feelers out there. I can't guarantee I'll apply immediately and might just keep the game in mind for the future.

For Sephiroth in particular, I guess it's worth mentioning I play him from the original game, which means he still has his memories and isn't obsessed with Cloud. I'd still play with a Cloud! -Horror and dark topics is fine. CL is kinda infamous for having it's cast nearly die horribly. In Aelita's case, she dies 3+ times. Hell in one episode she's in the hospital the whole time due to going into cardiac arrest and being resuscitated....and that's without things from the novels
-Good mix of character ages. I'm fine with her befriending adults but would like her to have friends closer to her age
-Fantasy/Sci-fi - Aelita is a programmer and very good at fixing tech. So I kinda want to use that...on the other, I am small brain so low or weird tech would probably make it easy for me to bullshit.

Iyashikei fits what you're looking for! We also have a lot of younger characters and it's a check in AC but people are great about tagging and back tagging. It's invite only but invites are always open and it's easy to get one from any player or a mod.

I’ve been away for a little while and am thinking of hopping back in with one of four different characters. They’d do well in different kinds of games, so here’s my thoughts on each! They’re all a bit niche, so none of them need casts or anything like that.

First is Princess Soru from the Webtoon Twilight Poem. She’s an illegitimate princess with the blessing/curse of being able to see demons despite being blind, and the power to heal others with her blood.

Last are Original Characters from Warcraft and FFXIV (Tauren shaman and Garlean medicus respectively). The biggest factor here would be whether a game accepts Canon OCs - they don’t have any connections to canon characters and only really exist in the background of in-game storylines.
      - Keeping powers would be necessary
      - No transformation (I mean, one of them’s already a cow, lol)
      - Probably would not fit well into AUs, except maybe ones that have an existing “shaman” role
      - They’d both do better with something “active” to do, whether it’s missions or bettering the community/environment or figuring out a mystery, etc.
      - The shaman would probably be pissed to not be around any greenery, but that might make it fun, lmao

You might like Pumpkin Hollow!

It does have a substantial plot, but engaging with it directly is kind of optional and there's a good bit of down time for slice of life, though it is primarily a horror-comedy with some straight horror periodically. AC is changing (used to be check-in only) but the new requirements are still pretty lenient and the game keeps decent pace regardless. It's also set in a Victorian gothic fantasy setting, so no worries about sci-fi!

Route 666 is a fun monster transformation/road trip RP with an ongoing plot and many mysteries to solve. Each month, the Convoy visits a new location, with a lot of variety in locales and shenanigans to partake in! It currently has a TDM up here, and you can find the full navigation here!

As for Bottlecap Bay, it's a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon-based RP. Characters are whisked into a new world, turned into Pokémon, and recruited by one of three guilds. There are quests each month as well as other events, providing a nice blend of adventure and slice of life, with many lingering mysteries. It also currently has a TDM up over here, and the navigation can be found here!

Of the two, R666 definitely leans more horror, though Bottlecap does have some eerie undertones and some spooky implications to its lore. xD I'm mostly mentioning it because I'm in both games, and they've both offered neat ways to engage with their respective settings.

Also selfishly I'm just like AAAAH THE CREATURE AHHHHH and would love to see him around -- we have a fair number of characters whose themes resonate with The Creature's, so I think there'd be a lot of potential for juicy CR :D

There's cyberformed, which actually is a Transformers-based RP! I am not really familiar with it, but it looks like it's still active if you want to check it out and see if it would be a good fit for you.

If you want to try out something that's ... much smaller as a first RP, fatedhearts is very newbie-friendly, with no forced transformations ever, low AC demands, and it is sci-fi. :) It's Final Fantasy/Kingdom Hearts based, with characters from anything welcome. There is a policy of AUing into the setting, but that can be as simple as saying the canon Transformers world is part of the KH universe. Characters don't even have to be aware of it if the player is canon-blind/really doesn't care to make elaborate AUs. I have at least one character in there on that principle. It's a mix of slice-of-life and adventure/mystery, with an overarching plot.
