ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the Second Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / kink you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no fonts and other html that make ads super long, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content). FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canon in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. This section is only for game crosscanon as in the psl section people can list their preferences. ➤ Examples of crosscanon you can search for: You play The Flash from DC Comics and your dream CR is fellow speedster Quicksilver from Marvel. Or you might play a witch and want cr with other witches in general. Or maybe you play a good character messed up by evil parents and want to play against a villain character you know has evil parents, because you know it'd lead to some interesting negative CR. ➤ There is a "Pairings You Want to Play" section, where you can ask for castmates or crosscanon you'd like to ship with. Please format this with "[YOUR CANON] seeking [CASTMATE/OTHER CANON (if crosscanon)/SEE DESCRIPTION (if a general character type)]. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Pairings You Want to Play" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. Alongside castmates and crosscanon, you can choose to ask for OCs or general character types as well. Try not to get too wordy and please don't outline entire scenarios. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be frozen or screened. Keep in mind this needs to be more specific than "this game has easy AC like you're asking for but meets none of your other requirements." You should be thinking about the story reasons of how the character might click with the game. IN GENERAL: ➤ Don't be a dick. This isn't one of the anoncomms, so any snide comments or unnecessary commentary on the RP plans of others will be frozen or screened. ➤ All mod responses regardless of whether they're rule breaks, correction requests (like someone posting in the wrong section), or thwapping someone for spamming copy-paste ads, have always been and will almost universally be public. If someone sends a PM and the conversation gets combative, this will also be made public and posted to the comments of the mod contact page. FOR WILL
Looking for castmates for either gen or shipping! I'm completely open to writing gen against anyone from Metaphor: ReFantazio. I'd love to play out scenarios of all sorts: scenes set during the course of the game, scenes that happen post-game, fix-it canon divergent scenarios where nobody dies, modern-day AU shenanigans, etc. I'm very into fluff, domestic slice-of-life, and hurt/comfort, but I'm equally fond of political drama, writing background NPCs, and complicated plots.

As far as ships go, I really only ship Will with Strohl and Louis. I'm pretty open to Basilio or Alonzo too if you want to make the boys kiss, but by default, I'll keep Will's other relationships platonic or intensely intimate without actually becoming romantic unless you specifically tell me that you'd like romantic content with Will.

I also have a scenario wishlist on my journal if that might help, but I think most of the scenarios on it were written for Louis and Strohl specifically. Feel free to reach out if you want me to think up some fresh ideas for your character!


FOR BYLETH
Again, looking for castmates for gen or shipping (mostly gen)! I would really love some gen PSLs and meme threads? I know that might seem a bit vague when most people tend to feel that PSLs are best with some romantic backbone, but I think the narrative of FE3H is complex enough that we can figure out things we'd like to write together with a little plotting! It's a huge game and we have a lot of backdrops we could use for threads: the academy phase, the war phase, post-game adventures, etc. I strongly prefer playing from the Azure Moon route and would particularly like Blue Lions students or Church of Seiros characters for this, but honestly, if you have some other FE3H blorbo you've just never been able to exercise, I will take them too. My arms are open! I also do not mind writing out background ships, so if you really want to write, like, Sylvix or something, Byleth can be There For That. Also, I am familiar with Three Hopes and would be happy to write Byleth in the Three Hopes setting if you prefer that for any reason. It kinda resets his development, but I think he's cute in his early game phase anyway.

As far as ships go, I am only looking for Dimitri! My dream would be to have a super long PSL or series of threads that fleshes out the Dimitri/Byleth relationship through the academy phase all the way through to the end of the game, but we can skip around to the parts that you find juicy, too. Smut is on the table for this and I'm easy so I'd be happy to have them hook up whenever you want, pre-timeskip or post-timeskip. I am fully prepared to slowburn all the way until the end of the game because I love sad gay popes.

I also have a scenario wishlist on my journal if that might help, but it's still a work in progress and I don't have much on it. Feel free to reach out if you want me to think up some fresh ideas for your character!

He might have gotten the help and support he deserved, but there's still a lot of guilt and burdens he's carrying. I would love a lot of hurt/comfort exploring all of that.
✦ Conversely it's implied that the other Heirs now have the memories of the thirty three million cycles and that shouldn't be that easy to deal with. Maybe Phainon can help them in turn with dealing with the burden of it, even though he himself is still suffering from them.
✦ I love my Lord Ravager AUs! I would love to write scenarios where Phainon has to deal with the aftereffects of being an Emanator and having a healthier but still existent relationship with Destruction.
✦ I would love to RP gen things with a Cyrene since canon didn't give us that much interactions between them. I don't mind it being either version of her! (although they're also the same person, but you know what I mean.)

Lucifer Morningstar I don't ship Lucifer with anyone except Lilith, so I'm only here for Gen. I have a lot of ideas, and in particular I'd love to thread with any of the other Deadly Sins, the Goetias, Charlie, or really any character in the Helluva verse. This is going to wind up more generalised and some of my concepts are more fitting for some characters rather than others.

I like canon and cross-canon. (I especially like cross-canon.) I also enjoy AUs and scenarios that may not have been particularly expanded upon in original media.

I tend to write what fits the scene. I like character-driven scenarios and storylines, introspection, narrative, realistic exploration of individuals and dynamics in relationships / connections between characters. I'm fond of political / courtly intrigue and the social politicking behind warfare. I like a balance of adversity and overcoming said adversity, sometimes situations that result in unhappy or tragic endings. I also like comfortable domesticity and all of the shades in between from one end of the spectrum to the other.

Some of my favourite dynamics and concepts include betrothals (especially for political gain), guardians and wards, rivals (including rivals to lovers), unrequited feelings, and corruption due to power / influence / associations. That's not an exhaustive list, just some that immediately come to mind.

Shipping is not an end-goal for me and I prefer those kinds of relationships (if not something pre-established in canon) to be accompanied by development. Similarly, I'm not exactly shopping for smut, but if it organically falls into place, I'm open to it.

Most of the characters I'm offering I'm a bit rusty on. I only came back to DW about a couple of months ago after being absent for a few years, so I'm shaking off the rust and examining characters I'm really feeling in the immediate mood to play.

I've been voicetesting him for a week or so now, and I'm enjoying what a dork he is. What I'm looking for is both shipping and gen scenarios. I'm currently mid season 6 on my rewatch, and all the googling in the world has heavier leanings towards him being a virgin, so I'm more than happy to play with that. For shipping, I lean more towards women for him, but word of god states that he was originally supposed to be bi before the crush on JJ angle, so I'm also open to the idea of male partners that suit him. Googling has become my life at the moment, since I have to look up random facts and make up rambling diatribes for him, and it's both weird and fun.

For personality type, I'm good with a variety of canon types. Other law enforcement, doctors, smarty pants types would click with him best. I'm happy to have buddy-buddy moments of him having a more sibling/colleague relationship with either gender, or him baby duck imprinting on another absent father figure ala Gideon and Hotch. For his castmates, I'm not interested in shipping in general with anyone from the series, since the only one that might have been would be JJ, and with her being married with kids, I don't like the notion of infidelity being coded into anything with them. The rest of the group has a family feel for me, and I'm more than happy to do BAU shenanigans for h/c or fun weird stuff or whatever. Morgans for tormenting older brother vibes would be great.

Crosscanon, I'm open to a variety. Supernatural, drama, horror. I prefer to be personally familiar with canons so I can write to specifics, but I'm willing to play with new (to me) canons. Anything shippy will have to have a consenting adult angle to it. No one under 21 since he's currently 29/30. Closer to his own age would work best for his peace of mind. In terms of gen, he'll be happy with any age range. For anyone not familiar with his series, there's a huge amount of potential trigger warning material throughout it, so please consider that beforehand and let me know if there's something that needs to be avoided (or if the character should be avoided entirely). He's a behavior analysist with the FBI regarding serial killers, rapists, child predators, and people that prey on the rest of society that are prolific enough that the local law enforcement need to call in help (or state lines are crossed). There is often graphic content in the show itself, so I'm aware that it/he is not for everyone.

Seeking:

Characters: Castmates for rare canons would be especially loved, but OTA for cross-canon, originals, anything with interesting CR potential, and any reference media. The writing potential is infinitely more important than what boxes the characters fall into.
Scenarios: Gen, ship, smut, and crack are all fine although some make more sense for some characters than others... you can try to hit on the Dalek if you really want to, but no promises how that plays out. Up for establishing assumed CR and any other setup discussions. Above all what I want is to get into layered nuanced character psychology; shippy and smutty things get there fastest due to lowered defenses, intimacy, and elevated impulses, but any scenario that gets into interesting character stuff is A+.
Venues: Museboxes and Meme Comms, mainly, but just as a matter of convenience, I'm not really picky. Totally up for PSLs across multiple threads to get into the evolution of CR.

Tagging: No real bracket-vs-prose preference. Usually medium-pace of a tag or two a day, but with bouts of boomeranging or bashful muses at the whim of ADHD. Will backtag the cosmic microwave background, though, so please never feel bad about slowtagging or poking me if I go quiet. I tend toward longer tags, introspection, and worldbuilding, but no hard-and-fast rules there.

In fact, I'd genuinely appreciate being told even if you don't want tags from me, so I can try and keep aware of that, or if there's a specific character you don't like, or whatever else. I continue to be baffled that there's so much failure to communicate in a hobby that is literally 100% communication.
