ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the last Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be screened and/or deleted. FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Here is the navigation, and here is the EMP toplevel! The game itself is brand new and small, but everyone has been incredibly friendly and welcoming so far.

Right now, it's myself and the Goro Akechi who are CRAU (both are post-15 Strangers), and a male Makoto who's just trying his best. Akira is same ol' nerd, just with some... sadness and a need for about ten vacations. Akechi underwent some positive development (to put it in a spoiler-free way) from murdergame experience (i...ronically).

The game allows doubles, but we'd all be incredibly happy with either of yours!

Oh wow, this is admittedly the first time that I see an Ohya, so I'll just say I'd love eithe Makoto or Ichiko at maskormenace! Don't let the game's size fool you, I've been here and I find it more on the medium speed when it comes to comment. Lots of backtagging friendliness with you too!

AC wise, you need two of the following (as copied from the AC Page)

The game has plot along with some SOL, player plots are encouraged and as a bonus Ichiko could get some cool powers in the game (each character gets 3 powers, Persona powers count as one, for example). The test drive is currently ongoing!

Aha, yeah I know she's not really the more popular of the confidants but I couldn't help but love her all the same! And heck I imagine she could have fun with powers!

I'll definitely take a look over and throw at least one of them on the test drive, figure that's as good a way as any of getting a feel for the place!

Oh no question, Lala is amazing and I suspect that is part of the issue but Ohya is great as well.

You're already looking way too popular, but

If you're good with psychological horror like your list definitely suggests, snowblindrpg has some Zero Escape characters. It's pretty slow-paced, backtags for ages, and AC's only 20 comments.
Either Clover would have potential for different CR, since we have a Quark, and my Junpei's from ZTD.

There's only one space left until the canon's capped out, but reservations are currently open if you want to look into it.

I've also failed to mention there's a really strong tabletop feel to it with... Map plotting and item collection. But. The players are extremely helpful. I'm dumb af and I haven't screwed up yet, so, it's really not as intimidating as it looks.

Funnily enough I actually used to belong to Snowblind a while ago (before I took a break from RP) but it's really neat to see more of a cast has grown since when I was there before Quark was the only one. (And oh god Dio).

Though the ZTD presence also makes me want to finally figure out a username for Mira (also imagining her and Dio in the same place is entertaining). I'll see how things pan out but it's a possibility!

(Also since I know Snowblind has a rough endgame timeline, is there an idea of how much longer it has left to go?)

Well, already knowing how the place works would definitely make it easier to settle in! There's that, if nothing else?

I'm not sure about the time limit myself, but one of the mods is still saying it should stay open until it's solved. Admittedly, there aren't too many sections still missing on the map, but.. nobody seems to be saying we're close, either. We're still getting monthly events, and the test drive memes keep getting replies, so these aren't things that suggest it's winding down too soon.

And then even when it's finished, it seems like some players plan to move over to We the Lost and keep their Snowblind CR. ... Which I guess potentially falls under AU, but, it's not a part you need to commit to, either, so...


:'D My vote would still be for Clover since she's cuter, but let's be honest, her and Mira are equally bad news for anyone who makes a mistake. Especially if the exposure effects start building up.

I'll have a poke around and maybe hit up a test drive and see how things go (I'm still getting the hang of Clover honestly so never not up for more testing to be fair)

If you want a cheat sheet you can always (casually) look into the enneagram for a psychological take on her. Clover (and clearly Eric) are Type 6.

They're both totally fine and innocent if you don't trigger their anxiety! They'd just gush about how great Snake and Mira are and bond over how much they'd rather be with them. Or. You know. Clover's kind of dumb. They could just talk about ice cream and she'd be perfectly entertained.

But yeah looking up type 8 gave me a huge head start with my Junpei app, since it gave me reasons other than "because Akane"-- so I'm sure it would do the same for you with not needing to repeatedly mention Snake.

I'm also not sure whether to laugh or cry, thinking of potential CR. The House at Snowblind has been trying to pry into Junpei's past but he's going through Quark and Diana and isn't bothering to actually ask him, so all he knows is there's a girl that's really important to Junpei that was in both his and Quark's Nonary Games. Who Junpei has recently admitted he'd kill for.

I almost need to see how much adding Clover could throw him off track. :'D

I mean. We know that keeping secrets isn't exactly a particular strength of Clover's (unless it's one Snake makes her keep, apparently Alice just isn't there quite yet!) so that'd be one way for her to add trouble. Especially if she's from VLR and knows just where her timeline's Junpei ended up.

...And the fact that she's a direct result of Diana's actions since they're from the same timeline.

It's tempting regardless of character, to be honest.

Diana's from the C-Execution route, but Junpei's from Q-Execution, so they've already been going back and forth on who's really supposed to be dead. Show them EVERY team has someone still alive and it would just be like. What.

But yeah idk. ZTD characters are all just. Dcom happened.
VLR characters are WHAT IS EVEN HAPPENING

Which is a stronger draw for VLR, to be honest. :'D

Well I mean. It's not like it didn't turn out to be relevant so she was helping! Just because Junpei never got over it is not her problem.

And hey. If Clover comes she gets to be bitter over her bad luck for a fourth time. And then get confused by how Junpei is suddenly not old again. (And yet he'd be the one person she latched onto most because no Snake, no Alice, someone has to stop her flipping out and axing everyone in the face)
