December EMP Meme
FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content). FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. This section is only for game crosscanon as in the psl section people can list their preferences. ➤ Examples of crosscanon you can search for: You play The Flash from DC Comics and your dream CR is fellow speedster Quicksilver from Marvel. Or you might play a witch and want cr with other witches in general. Or maybe you play a good character messed up by evil parents and want to play against a villain character you know has evil parents, because you know it'd lead to some interesting negative CR. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Conflict seems to spring up everywhere, and the smell of a possible class war is in the air. As humanity looks up to the stars for its new home, what will become of Earth, and those that currently inhabit it? What new form will humanity take going forward? When humans, their evolving genetics, and the rise of technology all run against one another, what will happen?
Who will inherit this new world?
Neo Sapien is an AU Cyberpunk RP set in the fictional American city of New Gate. Characters will be supported by the Neo Sapien Organization, actively or passively, and ultimately be at conflict with the ambitious desires of the all-controlling Douman Zaibatsu, a mega corporation that controls much of the city. Conflicts between normal humans and Meta-humans, as well as the transhumanist blending of humanity, technology, and our own evolution will be subjects within the overarching plot of the game.

The first thing you notice when you wake is that you're cold — freezing. Alone, in near darkness, on a hard metal surface. A couple of seconds after you gain consciousness, you hear shaky machinery sounds, a few lights come on, and then you realize you're on a spaceship that sounds like it needs a tune-up or twenty.
The voice of the ship's AI speaks suddenly:
❝My name is Vasilisa. I brought you here because need your help; this reality is breaking, and we have a lot of planets to stop in on and save. I don't have enough energy to take you back to your home just yet, but if you help me, I can return you there when this reality is no longer at risk. If I returned you to your home now, you would probably resemble something that went through a blender. I can, however, try to make your stay here easier in the meantime.
You should have a device on your person. This will allow you access to the ship's communication network, but it will only allow you to speak with myself and the other temporary inhabitants of this ship just like yourself. You have your own assigned living quarters, as well. You'll find out other things as you explore the ship and the planets we're going to, but for now, I don't have time to explain it all.
One more thing? Do buckle up. We're about to go on a bumpy ride.❞
SINE DIE is a panfandom DWRP game that combines elements of sci-fi and fantasy. Characters are brought on a ship, and split their time between being ship-bound, with stops to new environments every month (sometimes every other month). The game relies heavily on character-driven survival and exploration; the metaplot will be revealed as players have their characters investigate. There are chances for adventure and slice-of-life; players are encouraged and enabled to get what they would like out of the setting.

REDSHIFT is a pan-fandom CRAU-focused survival game with elements of horror, set on an unnamed planet that exists in the dead space between universes. Player-driven and exploration focused, the colony of Anchor's facilities and story can be unlocked piece by piece through character actions.
Given the focus on CRAU, it's possible to find multiple versions of a single character in-game. Creatures, places, and things from other universes may also make appearances, temporary or permanent, by plot or player suggestion. The way things go is largely up to you.

Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom (SMK) - A Panfandom World-Recovery/SOL Game
A dream can be a dream come true - with just one spark from me and you...
Two of these proteges, a cantankerous wizard named Merlin and the suave and short-tempered Lord of the Underworld, Hades, have joined forces to save their world from the corrupting destruction of The Corrosion. Pooling their magic, they have summoned heroes from all manners of worlds, walks, and wills. Only these Apprentices can save the Kingdoms and cleanse the lands of corruption.
Do you have what it takes to save The Magic Kingdoms and restore the power of Imagination to the waking world?
Characters arrive through the Magic Mirror, and are given lodging on Main Street with a roommate. The game is a mix of existing DWRP styles: jamjar, world restoration, and power acquisition and leveling. Characters choose a class of Sorcerer to become, based upon their nature, and grow their powers through taking missions to help restore the damage done by The Corrosion. There are Mod Plot missions, and lesser missions. Lesser missions can be played out or decided via RNG, while Mod Plot missions are done in teams. On occasion there are also Kingdom Curses: strange side effects of the combination of magic and Corrosion which affect residents for a short period of time. It may seem overwhelming, but all the current players are happy to help answer questions and test drive! ((Note: At this time mods have placed a temporary freeze on the Prince(ss) Class to encourage balance between the other power classes.))

City of Sin || A Panfandom Jamjar With Metaplot and Events
The City of Sin used to have another name, now as forgotten as the plans and schemes of the entities that used to rule it. The new City of Sin is large, encompassing seven districts, each with a "theme" and each with a Magistrate. The Red Lantern District is an area where clubs and brothels share space. The Gardens of Pleasure is a shopping district, rife with restaurants and high-end boutiques where anything at all can be had for a price. Finance Street is lined with brokerage firms, banks and casinos. Leisurebrook has inns, bed and breakfasts, hotels, and internet cafes. The Coliseum is filled with gymnasiums as well as its namesake, where one can view no-holds-barred battles between the city's residents, and also - aptly enough - where the Police Station is located. Shantytown is a run-down area of the city near the docks, filled with warehouses and stifling poverty.
In the center of the City is the Tower, shining and impeccable. It is the information hub and heart of the City as well as where its Magistrates meet to rule by committee. There are whispers that there is a central leader and mediator, but to those outside the power structures of the city, this is just rumor. Each Magistrate has their own style and agenda. Each is just a touch...
Familiar.
The City is eager to rebuild and hungry to grow. It has started to pull in new residents at a rate not seen in years. There are people who call it Purgatory. There are some who call it Hell. A lucky few favored by fortune call it Heaven. But the only name it has now is...

ASGARD GENESIS

❧ welcome, dear wanderer.
Within a breath, a heartbeat, between one step and then next - one moment you're there, and the next you're not. It's like closing your eyes only just to blink, yet the next time they open, you feel as though you've woken from a dream. Or is this the dream? The room around you is stark white with faint and intricate golden trails, almost glowing with unseen natural light, and the bed beneath you is plush like sitting on a cloud. Around each of your wrists is a thick, silver band of a metal you don't recognize; there is a large, colorless crystal in the center of each, and if you inspect the bracelets closer, the light in the room glances off the smooth surface of the metal in way that almost makes you think there might be something like writing on it. But as soon as you still, the markings vanish from sight, and that's when a door you didn't notice opens.
A tall, graceful woman enters followed by someone hiding slightly behind her, seemingly curious and excited and nervous all at once. Only the first speaks, and when she does, her voice feels soothing and warm like the softest blanket you've ever wanted to melt into.

Asgard Genesis is a panfandom jamjar RP based loosely off of Norse mythology and inspired heavily by its original incarnation, Asgard Eventide. Although this game takes place in the same general setting as Eventide, we consider Genesis to be its own entity - an Yggdrasil-2 type of situation, if you will. Asgard Genesis will have a loose overarching plot, a team of active NPCs, and an indefinite ending. Characters are brought to this world randomly and without reason; the Gods of Yggdrasil are gathering them together in their newly founded city of Asgard for protection while they look for the means to send everyone back to their home worlds. How long this may take and what danger may present itself in the meanwhile remains to be seen.
