FOR GAME ADS:

➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed.

➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad.

FOR GAME QUESTIONS:

➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme.

➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content).

FOR CHARACTER ADS:

➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join.

➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form.

➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. This section is only for game crosscanon as in the psl section people can list their preferences.

➤ Examples of crosscanon you can search for: You play The Flash from DC Comics and your dream CR is fellow speedster Quicksilver from Marvel. Or you might play a witch and want cr with other witches in general. Or maybe you play a good character messed up by evil parents and want to play against a villain character you know has evil parents, because you know it'd lead to some interesting negative CR.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above.

➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be frozen or screened. Keep in mind this needs to be more specific than "this game has easy AC like you're asking for but meets none of your other requirements." Make sure you're advertising games that might click with that specific character, where a few elements fit what they're looking for. You should be thinking about the story reasons of how the character might click with the game.

Tabula Rasa is a panfandom roleplaying game set in a completely empty and featureless world—at first, that is. As characters arrive they bring with them imprints of their own worlds, shaping the setting around them. What kind of world it becomes and what direction the games goes in is completely up to the characters that inhabit it.

The game will include elements that encourage exploration, character growth, and a high degree of player control and freedom, as well as opportunities for existential and body horror. DYSTOPIC

Dystopic is an 18+ panfandom sandbox game with fuck or die, fantasy, and horror elements.

It takes place on a post-apocalyptic world filled with monsters and demons. (Think, the ending of Cabin in the Woods.) Magic powered by sex sustains areas of civilization, which means that sex is a regular part of the native inhabitants' lives and characters are required to have sex via a mechanism that will kill them if they don't. (If you're seen the movie In Time this will look really familiar.)

There's also a fantastical element that causes characters to undergo transformations and gain abilities and magical powers. This mechanic allows characters to kill the demons and monsters and rejuvenate the barren parts of the world.

This is a sandbox game. It's intended to skew toward player plots and player freedom vs heavy mod involvement and direction. If you like having the freedom to do pretty much whatever you want and to come up with your own plots, this might be the game for you. If you like having regular monthly mod events, a more rigid metaplot, and a lot of structure, it's probably not the game for you.

AC is 5 comments a month. Although it's ICly fuck or die, there's no smut AC. You're welcome to thread out as much or as little smut as you'd like. At this time, applications are always open and there are no reserves.

All characters are depowered upon arrival and gain abilities through the game mechanics. We accept canon characters and OCs. All characters must be adults at their canon point, so at least 18 if they're human or whatever the corresponding age for adulthood is if they aren't human.

overall preferences:
While I’m open to playing out sex scenes, I do not want anything that’s solely or even mostly about sex. I just get bored. I’d rather do plotty stuff. Crosscanon characters or canon characters I don’t mention are also welcome if you have specific ideas about what you’d like to see them do. (I don’t usually do well in longterm threads that don’t have a plot, so knowing roughly where the whole thing is going is important for me.)

Also, my length can vary a lot. Sometimes my brain just doesn’t work well enough to let me do a lot of narration, but I always try to give the other person something to respond to regardless of how short the reply might be. (If I don’t, feel free to contact me and we can talk about what to have happen instead.) That’s one reason I prefer threads with plot - that way when I can’t think well enough to reply as well as I’d like to I can figure out what needs to happen to push the plot along and work from there. Open ooc communication helps with this, because sometimes plot needs to be figured out or changed if we need more for our characters to do.

But if someone playing any other character has a specific idea for a plot let me know. I don’t have a plotting page for Roland like I do for Bull but I love h/c, I like AUing Roland, and it would be interesting to play with the difference between the flat, practical way Roland tends to express himself, the impression that gives to the people around him, and the deep pool of emotion and poetic notions that can be going on inside him, so hopefully some of that gives us a place to start when it comes to plotting stuff out.

For Ganymede, basically any related character/canon mates that might work out! Also other adaptions; I'm fine with mashing with the Percy Jackson series and similar, or do jamjar settings to just marvel at what's different and what might not be.
I would love to get to do stuff set during myths, there's many Ganymede would be around for, or the Trojan War (and tweaking things if you've got human players from that time, since Ganymede wouldn't otherwise have a chance to meet them in person). Apollo would certainly be great, especially for gen things, during the war considering how much they both care (and if you mix in reality, too, Apollo was probably Troy's patron deity). Things set in modern day is good too, as are reincarnation AUs or similar. I'd love gen/friendship shenanigans with Hebe (especially so!) or Eros.

m/m for shipping, obviously, with Zeus, Apollo or possibly Eros as top picks.
When it comes to Zeus I'd prefer a lighter take on things; genuine affection as well as baser emotions, even if the situation of course can be more or less problematic in itself! Would be as interested to start from kidnapping because of attraction as well as, as the earliest sources state, only because he's so damn pretty he belongs among the gods and then things developing from there, or whatever variation of it that might be of interest, like Zeus disguising himself as a human for a while before the abduction occurs.

For Juri, I would just love anything with other catboys, canon or original. Fantasy or sci-fi works best for him. He's usually got magic he produces via music, but it's not necessary for him to keep that. I do love things like, for example, the setup in Lamento with a fighting pair where one half boosts the other through magical song, so it'd be great to get to play with that in whatever manner and worldbuilding around it.

If an event doesn't appeal to you, there's no need to participate! It's a medium paced game that's very back tag friendly with easy AC! There are lots of rewards for AC as well!
