ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the last Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content). FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. This section is only for game crosscanon as in the psl section people can list their preferences. ➤ Examples of crosscanon you can search for: You play The Flash from DC Comics and your dream CR is fellow speedster Quicksilver from Marvel. PREFERENCES

overall preferences:
While I’m open to playing out sex scenes, I do not want anything that’s solely or even mostly about sex. I just get bored. I’d rather do plotty stuff. Crosscanon characters or canon characters I don’t mention are also welcome if you have specific ideas about what you’d like to see them do. (I don’t usually do well in longterm threads that don’t have a plot, so knowing roughly where the whole thing is going is important for me.)

Also, my length can vary a lot. Sometimes my brain just doesn’t work well enough to let me do a lot of narration, but I always try to give the other person something to respond to regardless of how short the reply might be. (If I don’t, feel free to contact me and we can talk about what to have happen instead.) That’s one reason I prefer threads with plot - that way when I can’t think well enough to reply as well as I’d like to I can figure out what needs to happen to push the plot along and work from there. Open ooc communication helps with this, because sometimes plot needs to be figured out or changed if we need more for our characters to do.

I’m very tentatively coming back to Roland after a few years of being burnt out on playing him, so I’m leaning toward asking mostly for people he had intense relationships with - Cuthbert, Eddie, Susan (especially if anyone’s willing to explore what Roland and Susan’s dynamic might be if they met again as adults). For Ganymede, basically any related character/canon mates that might work out! Also other adaptions; I'm fine with mashing with the Percy Jackson series and similar, or do jamjar settings to just marvel at what's different and what might not be.
I would love to get to do stuff set during myths, there's many Ganymede would be around for, or the Trojan War (and tweaking things if you've got human players from that time, since Ganymede wouldn't otherwise have a chance to meet them in person). Apollo would certainly be great, especially for gen things, during the war considering how much they both care (and if you mix in reality, too, Apollo was probably Troy's patron deity). Things set in modern day is good too, as are reincarnation AUs or similar. I'd love gen/friendship shenanigans with Hebe (especially so!) or Eros.

m/m for shipping, obviously, with Zeus, Apollo or possibly Eros as top picks.
When it comes to Zeus I'd prefer a lighter take on things; genuine affection as well as baser emotions, even if the situation of course can be more or less problematic in itself! Would be as interested to start from kidnapping because of attraction as well as, as the earliest sources state, only because he's so damn pretty he belongs among the gods and then things developing from there, or whatever variation of it that might be of interest, like Zeus disguising himself as a human for a while before the abduction occurs.

For Juri, I would just love anything with other catboys, canon or original. Fantasy or sci-fi works best for him. He's usually got magic he produces via music, but it's not necessary for him to keep that. I do love things like, for example, the setup in Lamento with a fighting pair where one half boosts the other through magical song, so it'd be great to get to play with that in whatever manner and worldbuilding around it.

Honestly, anything and everyone, pretty much. Canon, crosscanon, and original character interactions. I have no huge preference, and would be happy to write alongside anyone. 

I'm still voice testing with him, so any opportunity to practice and get a better feel with and grasp on him is great. 

For scenarios, settings, and the like: I have an enormous preference to play him around his timeline (May+ of 1899), though can also easily adapt him to a few years or so before that. Playing strictly 1899s, or adding in elements of the modern era (such as cell phones), or futuristic ones to make the time era easier to write within is perfectly doable by me. 

I'm trying to form an idea of a modern version of him, as well, but as I'm still trying my best to learn the canon-specific Arthur, I'm likely to be much rockier with this one. I don't mind utilizing him if it's a preference, however! 

I like gen, shipping, and smut. And none more than the other. Building up to ships or smut through chemistry is... super, super preferred, and tends to go better, but as I know people can be crunched for time, I'm also okay to assume CR so long as we discuss how they got to that point to begin with. Happy to write light-hearted things, heavier-hearted things, and anywhere in between. My favorite things tend to combine, balance, and harmonize these, instead of leaning only in one direction. I don't mind action and violence, but I'm not the best at them, but his character leans toward both, so I'd still like to take part with both. 

I'm mostly into fictional realism (whether modern or historical), and following that, magical realism. I'm not hyper into overt fantasy or sci-fi genres, but I'm also not against them! If you'd like to write with him and have a character who comes from either, or both, if you can provide me some patience, and share dialogue with me, we can maybe figure out a setting/plot that will fit him in those regards. 

Crosscanon, again, and crossmedium is all good with me! It's all fiction at the end of the day.

For shipping and smut, I'm okay with m/f and m/m, but require characters in these scenarios to be 25+. 30+ is the most ideal, however. 

My tag rate/speed, etc. is a little sporadic, and slower than I'd like lately, but I won't drop a thread so long as the other person wants to continue as well. I'm not really into checking in about replies, if any are delayed, myself, because I worry about causing people undue stress, but people are more than welcome to check in with me if they want/need a reply, and I haven't gotten back as quick as I'd like. I tend to be scattered and distracted. Life or personal things getting in the way does not reflect a disinterest on my part!

- I'm open to playing with a variety of tones, just without reaching an extreme of grimdark. I also do not play smut, although adult situations are still generally acceptable for my characters.

Some other general scenarios I enjoy include shared mindscapes/dreamscapes and comedies of errors/being stuck in ridiculous situations.
