September EMP Meme
FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content). FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. This section is only for game crosscanon as in the psl section people can list their preferences. ➤ Examples of crosscanon you can search for: You play The Flash from DC Comics and your dream CR is fellow speedster Quicksilver from Marvel. Or you might play a witch and want cr with other witches in general. Or maybe you play a good character messed up by evil parents and want to play against a villain character you know has evil parents, because you know it'd lead to some interesting negative CR. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be frozen or screened. Keep in mind this needs to be more specific than "this game has easy AC like you're asking for but meets none of your other requirements." Make sure you're advertising games that might click with that specific character, where a few elements fit what they're looking for. You should be thinking about the story reasons of how the character might click with the game. IN GENERAL: ➤ Don't be a dick. This world has not yet been made. It lacks in substance, in meaning, in laws and ideals that would give it purpose. It is a world of emptiness that yearns to be filled, a blank canvas waiting for the touch of an artist's pen.
And then there is you—something so full of substance, meaning, ideal, purpose. You are everything this world desires, and so, here you are.
Do not try to understand how you came here, or why it was you out of so many others. This world does not yet have those answers. Only you, the essence of infinite potential, may decide what those answers will be. This is your story, your world, and there's still much work to be done.
Tabula Rasa is a panfandom roleplaying game set in a completely empty and featureless world—at first, that is. As characters arrive they bring with them imprints of their own worlds, shaping the setting around them. What kind of world it becomes and what direction the games goes in is completely up to the characters that inhabit it.
The game will include elements that encourage exploration, character growth, and a high degree of player control and freedom, as well as opportunities for existential and body horror. Literally anything can be changed with enough influence, including broader game mechanics and the characters themselves. Events will be a mix of genres, ranging from horror and survival to crack and slice of life, though ultimately the content of events will depend on the game's current characters.

Dystopic — a panfandom 18+ sandbox game
DYSTOPIC
Dystopic is an 18+ panfandom sandbox game with fuck or die, fantasy, and horror elements.
It takes place on a post-apocalyptic world filled with monsters and demons. (Think, the ending of Cabin in the Woods.) Magic powered by sex sustains areas of civilization, which means that sex is a regular part of the native inhabitants' lives and characters are required to have sex via a mechanism that will kill them if they don't. (If you're seen the movie In Time this will look really familiar.)
There's also a fantastical element that causes characters to undergo transformations and gain abilities and magical powers. This mechanic allows characters to kill the demons and monsters and rejuvenate the barren parts of the world.
This is a sandbox game. It's intended to skew toward player plots and player freedom vs heavy mod involvement and direction. If you like having the freedom to do pretty much whatever you want and to come up with your own plots, this might be the game for you. If you like having regular monthly mod events, a more rigid metaplot, and a lot of structure, it's probably not the game for you.
AC is 5 comments a month. Although it's ICly fuck or die, there's no smut AC. You're welcome to thread out as much or as little smut as you'd like. At this time, applications are always open and there are no reserves.
All characters are depowered upon arrival and gain abilities through the game mechanics. We accept canon characters and OCs. All characters must be adults at their canon point, so at least 18 if they're human or whatever the corresponding age for adulthood is if they aren't human.

A tiny coastal town, abandoned and cut off from the rest of the world by an unearthly fog that allows none to pass. Strange storms that rain terror upon all caught in their path. Ominous portents of something approaching, the reason the town was abandoned, and an inescapable fate that awaits unless answers are uncovered in what was left behind.
The Village is a horror game not for the faint of heart. Designed as a limited run game with a fixed ending in which characters may alter their own outcome, the game will rely heavily on the eerie and unsettling, and provide opportunities for all to investigate the mystery of what happened to Mathias Township… and what is happening to them.
This small game will rely heavily on meaningful character interactions and player willingness to explore the psychological depths of their character. Our autumn test drive is small but mighty, and reserves and applications are open. The game opens October 3rd.
Labyrinthian - An RPG Themed Exploration Game
“Load Game" is greyed out and you cannot select it (unless, of course, you are returning again). The panel also refuses to go away no matter what you do.
Eventually, either because you’re fed up or an accident happens (maybe you trip while walking or gesture while talking). Regardless of how it happened, you end up pressing the ‘New Game’ button.
Then the world goes dark.
When you wake up you are in something like a cryogenic pod within a broken down, modern looking building in the middle of a lot of overgrown greenery.
Before you can get your bearings another message pops up:
Labyrinthian is an panfandom roleplaying game with a focus on action and adventure, exploration and RPG elements, loosely based on the Etrian Odyssey game series. Characters arrive in a town full of NPCs connected to two labyrinths full of mystery, adventure and dangerous monsters.
Work together to form guilds, fight monsters, complete quests and try not to lose your temper at the NPCs who keep repeating their stock phrases and forcing you to sit through tutorials and explanations without a SKIP button in sight.
And of course, they must navigate another mainstay of RPGs: a job class system that gives them new abilities to replace their own (with a possibility of regaining a version of their powers later on). Or maybe you’re a veteran gamer and all this is familiar to you and all you have to worry about is convincing your less trope savvy companions that it’s not weird to look through every urn you find.
All this while you try to solve the mystery of the labyrinth...and hope that doing so will lead you to a way home.

Refusing to give up on their world, a small group of Hogwarts students began the painful task of trying to regroup and come up with a plan. Through that process the idea what if we used a time turner came about. Maybe it was a joke, a laugh someone thought to give the group that were desperate as their options began to dwindle, maybe they were serious. Whatever the reason, despite it being brushed off at first, Hermione took it upon herself to research it. What did they have to lose? Even if it wasn’t viable, at least they’d researched every option.
Months later, Hermione came to the group with a plan. They would indeed go back in time but not just a few months to prevent Voldemort’s rise, not a few years to prevent Peter Pettigrew from rejoining him, no they would go back further. They would go back to the beginning of the war where it all started. Back before Harry Potter became the chosen one. Back to where Voldemort can be truly killed before any of this ever happens.
